Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟, Narita Ryōgo) is a Japanese light novelist. He won the Gold Prize in the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize for Baccano!, which was made into a TV anime in 2007.[1] His series Durarara!! was also made into a TV anime, which began airing January 2010
There are two traits found in most of Narita's works: * Narita writes extremely fast, one volume a month if he wishes - with tons of spelling errors and missing words as a tradeoff. The editors like to leave them sometimes just for fun, though. * His work titles often have an exclamation mark at the end (i.e. Baccano!, Vamp!, Durarara!!, etc.).
Hummm… Car certains passages trainent en long.
This season (2023 spring) the anime based on this wash launched. I picked up the 3rd book as the anime hasn’t yet reached here… I suspect that this book and the next one will be animated given the pacing of the show. However, rather than waiting for them I had to read ahead.
Not disappointed and I suspect I will finish the manga available before the season of anime is complete.
The oyaji power Tena has is insane and he absolutely upends the hot old man pyramid as we know it but I'm not sure this series, in which he is a side character, can realistically sustain itself solely on his ability to be funny and very cute for 20 pages each 223 page volume.
This volume gives us more background on some of the characters. the story seemed to lag somewhat. But since manga are a quick read, one needs to consider it as the normal middle of the story slump and read the info dump before the story gets better.
A slow build up with these books but ultimately I do like the pace so far. Polka has a pet alligator named snowy?!?!?? And it’s never bit him and is super chill???? I dunno I think that’s cool lol oh also there’s hentai in this one haha
