Rate this book
Sam Bitter is at a crossroads, if he could have one last big score, all of his problems would be solved. Handsome Jack, his partner in crime, knows how they can do that – work with Jack’s new girlfriend. Why doesn’t Sam want to? Because Jack’s new girlfriend is Sam’s ex-lover, and they all find each other uncontrollably hot.

Sam, although, has a bigger problem than his crew’s lusts. Thomas Sweet just got promoted at the FBI. Why is that a problem? Because Sam doesn’t know it, and Tom has always had a burning desire to put him behind bars.

But is Tom’s desire professional or deeply personal? And what will Sam do when he finds out that he’s being chased by a mysterious figure from his past?

Written by international bestselling author A. Anders, this prequel is a romance with tantalizing sex and a twisting plot. If you haven’t read A. Anders’ standalone ‘ An MMF Bisexual Threesome with MM,’ this prequel page-turner will suck you in while revving you up for the steamy MMF erotic romance.

Tom Sweet is an FBI agent, Sam Bitter is a criminal. They have a past Sam could never forget.

The story is told Sam's viewpoint. It is a prequel, and it contains an emotionless threesome scene with only one of the main characters (at least I hope so).

I'm not sure I want to continue the series.

Tom’s arrest record is the best in the country; with his transfer and promotion as an FBI Special Agent in Charge, he makes it his first priority to follow up on a specific bank robbery case. Having seen Sam’s name on the bank robbery report, Tom knew he was going to put Sam where he belonged, and eventually a lead brings them face-to-face. Sam reflects on his last bank heist and feels unsure of himself; he made a big mistake choosing his team the last time and it resulted in two bank employees getting shot. Sam would have to proceed carefully on his next job. The only man Sam can trust is Jack, but he stirs up feelings in Sam he thought he had a grip on; nevertheless, Jack is definitely his type. Jack suggests Maria as a driver for their next job, not realising that she and Sam have history; but Maria has not forgiven Sam for his past indiscretion with her cousin. Meeting Tom as a child changed the direction of Sam’s life. Tom is a ghost from his past and for him to show up now rattled Sam, because it has been 15-years since he has last seen him. Was this a friendly visit or an arrest? Sam didn’t know, and he wasn’t prepared to wait and find out. Jack is the only one Sam can trust. Turning up at Jack’s house in a drunken stupor, Sam gives away more secrets than he intends to and there are consequences. Maria has plans too and as a result Sam’s life will never be the same again. This was a short read but a good introduction to the next book. There are some twists and turns that keep the book interesting and I enjoyed reading it. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

The story is a good story. It gives background information on the main characters and a lead in to a new adventure for them. I am not one that likes cliff hangers and this had one. It isn't hanging where it will drive me crazy, but that is why only four stars. I am looking forward to reading the full story. I do like the story line and I look forward to finding what how Tom is going to do about Sam.

Totally unable to finish the book

Wooden writing, incomplete sentences, missing words. Character development was at a minimum and reader engagement so low it was virtually invisible.

Sam does a bank job that doesn't end well and looks to do another but instead the FBI is gunning for him while he finds out he is a papa.
