Not everyone has a sixty-year friendship with Santa Claus, but I did.
Who would have guessed I’d find a life-long best friend sitting in a faded red canvas beach chair fishing by a small crystal blue lake. A best friend who listened, was patient and always non-judgmental. A friend I know in my heart is the real Santa Claus.
It all started when I was five years old and decided to walk to beach to meet an old man I was sure was Santa. It was a walk that changed my life forever. Over the years I discovered valuable life lessons and created a rare friendship. A kind and jolly man taught me how to find purpose, peace and happiness in my often unsettled world.
The lessons he taught me are simple when you have someone patient, wise and nonjudgmental to guide you.
Here are six invaluable life-lessons I learned from an old man named Kris. Trust me when I say, you are never too young nor too old to believe in the magic of Santa Claus.
A short read you can probably finish in under an hour or so. This is a clean and wholesome adult story although you may want to read it to your children and grandchildren. Santa’s lessons never go out of style or out of date.

Thank you so much for reading my profile and happy reading!
The author did a nice job transporting you into the mind of a child and the wonderment they have for Santa. Though Suzie sometimes doubted her new friend, she kept coming back to meet him even as an adult. This book will put a smile on your face.
“Life doesn’t always go as planned, does it Susie?"
5 year old Susie is positive that the old man on the dock is Santa Claus. Over the years his love and hope fill Susie with the ability to reach and exceed both her goals in work and in life. No matter what has gone on between visits, Kris is someone she can count on as she learns life lessons
This is the story of Susan Cameron's encounters with a man named Kris on a peaceful lake for several summers of her life. Sharon Michaels is a new author for me and what caught my attention most was the title and the cover art. It's been a rough few years and books like this one bring hope scattered across every page. Highly Recommended 5/5.
Absolutely Adorable! This moving story follows a young girl through sixty years of her life, learning life's lessons at the lakeside. She befriends a fisherman named Kris, who imparts his wisdom and kindness over her life. Superb short read that will stay with me for many moons. Please read this and enjoy.
