Rough Match

Why did I have to get paired with the cocky quarterback?

Jake Wilder is the best football player our college has seen in a long time. Dreamy and overconfident — the perfect combination to drive Jess insane.

All the girls go mad for him, often doing his classwork just so they can get close. If he thinks he has an easy ride with me, he’s got another thing coming!

The only thing he cares about is making it as a football pro. If he fails this class he can wave his dreams goodbye. But then so can I. We both have scholarships riding on this joint project…

For the next few weeks I’m stuck babysitting an egotistical brat and doing twice the amount of work. Why is the professor doing this to me? She knows I don’t need any more stress in my life.

Could these two opposites stumble upon a connection as they’re forced to work together?

Will their rocky relationship be able to withstand: arguments, injuries, judging peers, and pushy parents?

Rough Match is a fiery football romance with a passionate happily ever after.

KU freebie. Tried and tested formula, poorly executed.
This is super cliched which I'm happy to overlook provided I'm actually enjoying the story... Not the case with this one. Choppy writing sees us meeting college football star Jake, and nerdy girl Jess put together on a project by their teacher.
Didn't get any chemistry between them, his coach completely oversteps with regard to their (non)relationship, we don't get any real resolve of his personal issues (work, parents, NFL) and it all sort of just ends. Meh. Could have been so much better.

Could have been better.

Lots of grammar issues that could have been looked over if the story didn't fly through details. If the author too her time and flushed out the characters more this book could have been good.

Tertible

This was very poorly written and the author really had no knowledge of the subject she was writing about. The characters weren't believable and had no real personality.
