This 13th episode of the Ravenglass chronicles follows Kat along a path beset with slavers, black ships ruled by wyverns, and the return to many places she has been before. All along the way she seeks answers or more truthfully her memories of her life. This series keeps getting better with each episode, while the reader may get an answer to previous questions, the number of new questions far outweighs those answers. I received an Advance Reader Copy and chose to provide this review.

The death card is quite revealing. This episode speaks of the unfurl of a new beginning for the MC. The past has been absorbed so to speak, but I still ponder what happens when the past is once again back in the light? The MC once again shows naivety when it come to trusting others. If you gave gone this far in this series...just 2more episodes! I’m excited! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Washed up in a small fishing town and kind innkeeper takes care of her and nurses her back to health. Kat cannot remember anything. The innkeeper and she assume by her clothes that she is courier and so she goes to local postmaster for work hoping that along her travels someone might recognize her and tell her who she is. Her plans seem foiled when she is captured by a slaver.

Kat is still struggling to find out who she is, what she is. She keeps finding more mysteries. This new episode has action and more questions for her. Perhaps the answers are near. The story moves along a good pace and keeps the reader involved. I am looking forward to the next story.

I received this as an ARC and wished to leave a review.

It is fun going through this journey with Kat. She is trying to remember who she is, and what she has done, but it is all scrambled up and to see things that she has gone through and now revisits is a treat cause as a reader you know what has happened to her and to understand her frustration in not knowing is really great. I would love to know what happens next in Temperance will be fun.

Things are getting kicked up a notch. This book\Episode was a little more intense, than the rest so far. Things are starting to click in place, and truths are coming out (but not enough yet). I'm hoping book 21 will be done before I reach the end of book 20, so I won't be left with a cliff-hanger. LOL

Wow the intrigue in this series is mounting. Kat having lost her memories and unsure if her flashbacks are real or dreams seeks the truth with the Guardians in Gottsisle. Her journey has been perilous and full of death. Can she kill? Only time will tell.
