Way too much unnecessary dialog and info which didn't move the story forward. Skipped quite a bit. Also, the main characters were not very relevant to the story itself. I kept reading just to find out who done it!
I truly enjoyed this read! I must admit I was tempted to go to the end because it was taking took long for me. I was good and waited til the end but it was hard! Well written in my eyes.
Kaci is woman who lost her child and it's killing her. And you have a Commander in the U.S. Navy, Matt with a missing wife ad 5 daughters who are missing their mom. Between the unhappiness and the police thinking he killed his wife, there is lots of suspense to this book. When the two characters meet you will enjoy this book even more.
Captivating to the end, Matt and Keri’s lives unfolding a nightmare and how was it ever going to end. With five daughters the range of emotion and understanding for each was hard, impossible for some. The light was taking ballet lesson, that too took a sideline, when things became public. Great story, loved the role and how he handled Matt was Jake a no nonsense PI.
