Writing is my bliss and I try to write every day. I started with two publishers who I learned a lot from. Now I self publish. I like the control it gives me over release dates and book covers.

Three stories of women on the Oregon Trail who find love with men who struggle against being married. But God changes hearts! These women who have suffered abuse and terrible injuries are survivors who have faith. The only problem with the stories is that they end too soon and I wanted more!

This was the second book in the Romance on the Oregon Trail series. I enjoy seeing the same characters in a series, with each book revealing more of their trials/tribulations, strengths/ weaknesses, etc. There is however the chance books become repetitive and the stories seem quite similar. This story was good, but I thought the characters were a bit weak in spots - thus the 1 missing star. That whole British v. Ireland history lesson in the last couple of chapters seemed forced and could have occurred earlier.
This box set follows a group of 4 unmarried young men as they travel the Oregon trail to Oregon. In each book one of the Young men rescue a young women from disaster and they find love in a relatively short period of time. They also have hardships to deal with as they travel the trail. These 3 books read as one continuoua story. At the end of book 3 they have not reached Oregon so now I'm anxious to know the rest of the story. These books contain a number of typo's and editing errors resulting in a 4 star rating. Over all this is a captivating read.
Romance on the Oregon Trail Books 1-3 is a great collection of Christian historical western romance stories. The stories included in this set are Cora's Courage, Luella’s Longing, and Dawn’s Destiny.
The stories have well-defined characters and storylines that are well written and intertwined. These stories have danger, scandal, courageous heroines, adventure, miracles, and love. I really enjoyed this collection.
Wonderful stories about strong women that found love on The Oregon Trail. Each novel can be read as a stand alone but they don't have a solid ending as the next books follow Cora, her husband Harrison and their ranch hands, Declan, Heath and Zander.
These men and women show how difficult life in the pioneer times was but also that you can find love.

Cora’s Ciurage The hardship of Cora doing what she needed to do. In wanting a better life for her and her child . Thought a wagon trip to Oregon was the answer, but endured hardship and cruelty. To be faced with another situation, they decided to be joined, Till her past comes back. Seems a circle of bad luck for Cora how will it turn out Three women who had the courage to go west, it was hardship, and prospect seemed impossible. They pursued. and found healing and love.
You will need to purchase book 4 to hopefully get to the end of the journey which is Oregon. These 3 books will leave you hanging. That being said...First 2 books kept my interest. Third, not so much. Very repetitive. Man meets woman, no one wants woman in the camp, everyone gossips and shuns woman, man just can’t help falling in love & they marry. All three were the same story line. Not much creativity. If you like that sort of writing, enjoy.

Then camping and fixing dinner, getting family’s settled down, makes for long days and nights. But love still manages to find time to happen between the young and Older adults. This is the 1st time I've read anything written by Kathleen Ball; she has done a great job at writing a good collection of books; I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Good book, but all 3 stories were so short!! Plus the plot was the same, girl in trouble wagon train hates the girl. Then the all 3 of the men have to marry them seriously? She good but why have the plot like that? You say you read your reviews then make the book longer, and that there is "no have to" marriage.
Traveling in a wagon train was surely the most horrendous thing imaginable! I don't know how anyone survived going west and this series gives some insight into that, though , I'm sure it was 10 times worse than we think. Wonderful stories and I hope to read more in this series.
This series covers the first three books, Cora’s Courage, Luella’s Longing, and Dawn’s Destiny. I was disappointed that the fourth book wasn’t included in this set. It’s called Tara’s Trial. I found these easy to read and very enjoyable. Recommend these to those who like western stories and the Oregon Trail.
I read the boxed set Romance on the Oregon Trail. Three books with the same plot, similar struggles, happy ending. In comments between the books, the author mentioned she completes one in about 15 days. Suggest she takes time to edit the manuscripts more closely as there are syntax errors and other problems with the books. Glad I got it for free.
It’s good when young people don’t try to say something they’ve always thought they’d heard. Most times they don’t quite get it right and it dims the text. I thank the author for not misusing and/or misquoting. Very interesting stories and thank you for remembering the Lord.
I might have liked each book if not lumped together. The women had tough situation but I got tired of their stories and the men all start out disrespectful and then everyone falls in love? Give me a break.
Three great short stories that once I started reading this set I was not putting it down until I had finished it. They have great storylines and the stories flow smoothly across the pages. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
They are not only historical but contain suspense, romance and most of the characters are not typical pioneers. I like how Kathleen Ball injects scriptures into the stories.
I found this box set to be well written and your story line’s was well thought out and very enjoyable as well and your use of your characters and would recommend this set of books to everyone
This was the first of Kathleen Ball's books I have read! I totally loved this series. Strong characters, faith in God, and romance! Sailed through the series in three nights!!!!
I enjoyed all 3 Books in the box set . All three books was about a wagon train going to Oregon. They had problems but in the end it all turned out good. God was with them all.
