This is a Y/A

A surprisingly good read.

The books are short but they are all on KU.

I did find the plot a bit slow, almost as though we were waiting for just one plot piece to happen per book. I'm a very fast reader so I found myself skimming through the bits I knew were not important. The same formula has been used for book two and three.

Not gonna lie, trying to get to the end of this one made me lose interest. We are still going round and round the same information "because no one has proof" Seriously considering just reading book 9.. Perhaps not today though.

If you need a light hearted clean adventure, this is for you.

Oh no! I have to wait for book 4!

This series is shaping up to be as good as the brindle dragon series was. I hate it when I read faster than the writer writes. But I will anxiously wait for book four.

Good read for the dragon obsessed

Yes, that is me, dragon obsessed. I enjoy the possibilities of what dragons would be if they were real, so appreciate an author who knows how to tell those stories. This book is a great continuance of a new dragon saga and sets the stage well for the next one.

He has been born.

The black dragon has returned after two hundred years. His ancestor was a traitor the the dragon riders and this new little guy causes a rumpus in the dragon council. What will our team do next. Waiting on the next book with baited breath. Highly recommended.

A dragon is born.

The egg hatches and she has a black dragon. She also has a birthday party. She is beginning to understand what she is. She is powerful and still a child. She is growing up fast. Looking forward to the next book.

This remind of all the trouble Eist got into.

I knew the poor girl was in for more than she was ready for. The mystery and fear that comes from being a newly discovered witch can't be easy to accept let alone be overjoyed. But I have an idea we are going to enjoy the ride.

Black Dragon

Sometimes when things changes too quickly, its too much for people who have been living a certain way. Excellent examples throughout the book and it looks like there will be more lightning changes

These folks just keep getting better

OK they’re starting to ramp up the story in this book and it makes you want to immediately start reading the next book to find out what’s going to happen and that’s a sign of a really well written story

Suspense continues

Imagine being a vessel for an unknown entity. Something using you and you don't really understand what it is or how it works. But it controls your destiny, that describes the heroine of this series.

Finally we see the egg hatched but not quite like the others. More possible friends emerge. Ukrek and Crispin are learning about life in the academy and who to trust so what could go wrong.
