Naughty or nice?

For the women abducted from Earth and claimed as tribute brides for the Drexian warriors, being on the naughty list isn’t so bad. Not when being naughty is so tempting.

It’s Christmas on the Drexian space station, and the abducted Earth women are in the mood for some holiday fun. They may have been taken from their homes and mated to bad-ass alien warriors, but that’s no reason they can’t throw a holiday party to make them feel like they’re back on Earth.

With the help of the station’s colorful wedding planners and stylists, the tribute brides are decking the halls and jingling the bells. And when it comes to their Drexians mates, the stockings aren’t the only things that are hung. Six steamy Drexian-human couples are all eager to steal more than a few kisses under the mistletoe. And they might even get to do some merry matchmaking while they’re at it!

This standalone sci-fi romance holiday novella features the six couples from the previous Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series along with steamy scenes on a holographic fantasy space station, a wild holiday party with an alien twist, and smoking-hot alien warriors with extra erogenous zones.

If you like heartwarming holiday stories, hot alien warriors, spunky Earth women, and steamy romance with few laughs, you’ll love "Jingled", the seventh book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series.

I love sexy aliens and independent heroines. I grew up on Star Trek: Next Generation and Star Wars (and I adore them equally). My favorite superhero is Thor (with Aquaman a close second because, well, Jason Momoa), my favorite dessert is key lime pie (okay, fine, all pie), and I still lament the loss of Firefly.

I live in North Carolina in the US and have one husband, two teenagers, and two neurotic cats. I sometimes wish I could teleport to a holographic space station like the one in my tribute brides series (or maybe vacation at the oasis with the sand planet barbarians). :-) When I'm not writing, I love to paddleboard, dive, travel, and read obsessively!

Such high ratings but I found the format of this book really hard to trudge through. There are chapters from so many POVs of past males and females of the previous books’ couplings. I couldn’t remember a lot of the details from the other books. It is melodrama but boring so this took me forever to trudge through.

I only made myself finish this to find out more about the next book, but I suspect you could (and probably should?) skip this and be fine reading the rest of the series. Just bummed I was eagerly anticipating this one and it ended up being such a let down.

I could tell a lot of these characters and their backgrounds have appeared in other books. I've predominantly read this author’s series about the Barbarians of the Sand Planet but did recognize Dorn and Mandy from Tamed.

Fun, light read without a ton of substance. It revolves around the earth women bewildering the aliens with their insistence on celebrating Christmas. There’s some party preparation but I’d say the majority of the story involves the individual couples finding ways to screw each other’s brains out. Pregnancy is rampant as a result. I’ve gotta say that I’d appreciate more action from the Neebix bartenders after reading Vixin.

Although the rest of the books in the series are fun this one is a huge disappointment. It is just a few chapters that bridge between the last book and setting up the next book- it really could have been the ending of the last book or first of next book. You can easily skip this and miss nothing in the story line.

Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors is based on the large muscled humanoid aliens with tan skin who’ve spent their lives battling the enemy aliens called the Kronock. There had been a secret treaty with Earth for the past 30 years where the Drexians have been granted permission to abduct human females in exchange for protection against the Kronock. The only conditions are that the females be unattached (with no one to shed light on their disappearance) and that the Drexians keep the secrecy of alien existence. The tribute brides are taken to a space station behind Saturn called “The Loveboat” where they are mated (married) to their Drexian warriors. The war with the Kronock is still ongoing.

Written in third person perspective, Jingled is a short novela in this series, and follows all the couples we have met thus far for a Christmas special.

It was fun to revisit the couples we’ve grown fond of in books 1-6. New relationships unfold. The Neebix was at their mischievous tricks again by getting everyone hot and horny with the drinks. I got emotional finding out that Kax was able to get his mate pregnant after believing he was infertile. There was second pregnancy announcement as well. The romantic scenes were hot. This was a fulfilling read.

I might need therapy, but that’s what books are for, right? Lol

I will continue the series since I do enjoy Tana Stone’s writing. Thankfully, the books aren’t painfully long. This novela was the perfect length.

This is the seventh sizzling story of Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series! In this hot installation, we have all the previous Tribute Brides with their burning hot Drexian Warrior mates. These women have decided that they want to have a Christmas party on the Boat, the space station that they all live on. They know that they won't be able to have a live Christmas tree, but Ella their holographic master can make anything happen. See how each couple reacts during the creation and the actual party.

I enjoyed reading it because to me it was like visiting with old friends who I haven't seen for awhile and catching up with what is going on in their lives. Who is pregnant and who just found out they are pregnant and what is in these green and red drinks that is driving everyone crazy hot.

Mandy and Dorn from #1 Tamed.
Bridget and Kax from #2 Seized.
Kate and Zayne from #3 Exposed.
Trista and Torven from #4 Ransomed.
Ella and Dakar from #5 Forbidden.
Shreya and Vox in #6 Bound.
True and Varden in #8 Craved.

A cute, quick read

I loved this little “intermission” in the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series. It’s Christmas time aboard the Love Boat, and the humans want a station wide party. So the human mates get to work planning a holiday party, and the Drexian Warriors are a bit befuddled about this holiday but still join in the fun to make their mates happy.

This is basically an update of each of the couples we have read about so far, and a quick teaser about the next book to come, Craved. which is True and Captain Varden’s story. There was a lot of steamy encounters in this book because, of course, each couple had their own romantic interlude.

Definitely a must read if you have read the first 6 books in the series.

It’s Christmas time on the Boat and all of the Drexians and their tribute brides are ready to party. This book catches up with all the mated Drexian’s while their wives/mates teach them all about their traditions of Christmas. There is the usual steam floating about with each couple which will leave you fanning yourself.

There is the celebrated Christmas tree with glittering lights and snowfall along with jolly old Santa that Bridget convinced her mate to dress up as. Two new babies on their way and all around joyful moments together. But there is a threat on the way. Tana Stone has left us wanting more as is her usual tone at the end of her stories.

This is a holiday novella in the Drexian Brides series. The format is slice of life vignettes from the previous couples in the series set around a space station wide Christmas party. This novella is enjoyable for what it is, though I prefer holiday novellas that are a complete romance as a general rule. It was nice to be able to visit all the previous couples and it was wonderful that Bridget, Kax's wife found out she was pregnant after they were so sure it wasn't going to be possible with Kax's radiation exposure. I think that scene was the high point of this novella for me. I recommend reading this story if you want to visit the previous couples in this series. Enjoyable.

Jingled by Tana Stone is the seventh book in the Tribute Brides of Drexian Warriors series. This book is a sweet holiday tale that revisits the current antics of all the couples in the previous six books in this series as they live with their Drexian warrior mates aboard the boat. This is a wonderful sweet and sexy story that shows what all the couples that have been featured in the previous books are up to during the holiday season. This is a stand alone book that is a fun read with lots of sensuous scenes that made me excited to find out how these alien human couples celebrated their first holiday season together. This book was so much fun to read that it is my new favorite holiday book. Jingled is a sweet, fun, and sexy holiday story.

This is just a nice sweet Christmas love story of the best degree. Of course it is still the theme of the Boat and the Drexians, the fear of the Kronock and of course the human women. Most of the characters in this story we have met before in their own story, I loved to hear a bit about Reina and that she had the possibility of happiness on the Boat as well with VIvan. Then there is the promise of a really exciting next book in this series from what we read in the last part of this story. And so becuase of how much I love this one I am giving out the very rare five stars!!!! Please enjoy.

This is another fantastic addition to the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors and it’s Christmas time on the Drexian space station and it’s time for the tribute brides to show their warriors how earth women celebrate Christmas. The 6 human women who found their mates in the last 6 books are there, there’s plenty of Christmas cheer and plenty of steamy moments so let’s all relax have a hot chocolate and enjoy Christmas with the Drexian’s and their mates. This is a fantastic quick read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!

Since the tribute brides have been taken from Earth they have decided to add some of the traditional holidays to the Drexian's. This brings back many of the pair of mates to enjoy a ship wide Christmas. Very enjoyable Christmas love story and still keeps the theme of the Boat, Drexians, human women and the fear of the Kronock attacks. There is another small cliffhanger but there has been with each book. I love this series. Hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. For the human women who were abducted by the Drexians from Earth, they are determined to celebrate Christmas. So the station's wedding planners and stylists help them to throw a holiday party with all the extras. Can the happy women and their mates do a little bit of matchmaking at the same time?

I enjoyed this novella-length story which has a bit of drama, danger and a good dose of explicit sexual content. Fun to read and easy to understand. Some interesting things that I look forward to reading more about in later books in the series.

I love it when authors write these update novellas.

This book has the humans on the Boat introducing the Drexians and other aliens to the traditions of Christmas. Bridget even gets Dax to agree to play Santa for the party. We also find out two more of the ladies are expecting babies. Even Reina has a chance to get some attention from her crush Vivan.

A little slice of life story as the tribute brides, their mates and others on 'The Boat' gather for Christmas even as the Kronock gear up for another attack.  With a little touch of a side romance thrown into the mix between Reina and Vivan. Before reading this I would recommend reading the earlier books in this series.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Christmas novella

This is a short fun Christmas read with a short continuation with the story that is threading its way through the series
If you are following the story thread then you need the last few lines in the novella
If you are not following the series then this is not the place to start reading the series

Good Continuation Good Series

Even though this story departed a little from your tried and true modus operandi of couples paired, but not equally enthusiastic, who find their way together eventually, it was a nice summation of the current contented couples. It also reintroduced each couple with a little romance and a erotic interlude which echoed their continued love and eroticism. Enjoyed!

This was a enjoyable, light, easy to read, catch up with previous characters with a Christmas storyline which contained a bit of humour. Imaging trying to explain Christmas to Aliens who have never experienced it. It also had a slight introduction to what you can expect in the next book. Looking forward to True's story next.

Very enjoyable story that has the characters from the other books intermingle in this one. You get more in depth into the characters while the ladies bring Christmas and it's spirit to their mates. This is a great addition to this series, a feel good book to read and enjoy. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Bookspout.

Jingled

It's the end of the year, folks looking forward to Christmas cheer, and Tana Stone gives us our first gift.
"Jingled" satisfies all you desires to see how old friends from previous novels have fared.
There are a few new suprises, and baby fever strikes.
But it's not all holiday cheer as the threat of war looms in the very near future. This is a read you will enjoy.

A lovely way to rejoin the characters from the series.

All of the brides of the Drexians are returned in this joyous and happy novella. The joys and happy traditions of the Christmas season are introduced to the denizens of the Loveboat.

All the characters are each reintroduced and in their own way spread the season's greetings.

Holiday fun!

This was a wonderful little peak into our favorite couples from the last several books. You get a glimpse into how their lives are going and how happy they are to be together. Christmas on the boat brings everyone together. Look for a few surprises and our lovely Reina finds something to blush about herself in this delightful Christmas short story. 💖

Christmas! What a delightful way to reintroduce all the tribute Earth brides and their male Drexian mates. Males who thought they would never have a mate, are starting to find out that their brides are now expecting. How much more perfect can Christmas possibly be? And it doesn’t hurt that the bartenders added Palaxian Pleasure Tonic to the drinks to loosen inhibitions.
