What The.......

How does a mob boss just say "never mind ....I'm out!!! That's not how that world works and everybody knows that. Why oh why do you call this a mafia romance when your always trying to change what they are??!!!!!!

A new author to me. This is book 3 in the series and I didn’t have the opportunity to read the previous books but I do wish the author had included them. I enjoyed this read and will likely go back and read book 1 and 2. This story is about Victoria and Umberto. Victoria is working tirelessly to become a doctor. Umberto is the Mafia Kingpin. Umberto wanted Victoria, so he just took her and kept her to protect her. Victoria needs protecting due to her father. He owes a lot of money to some unsavoury people and Victoria is caught in the middle. Umberto is on the list though, as one of those unsavoury people. Both Victoria and Umberto develop feelings and soon the need to figure out how or if they become a couple becomes urgent.

Did not come to life on the page

I am not to sure what to say about UMBERTO. The story description looked like it could be a really interesting story with suspense, intrigue, violence, romance and of course some hot heat. Instead it just sort of laid there on the page and did not come to life. I love a good Mafia story but the characters and situations have to be on the darker and grittier side in order to be believable. After all these men are possessive and protective Alpha's who are loyal, know violence and justice even if they are living in a mansion and wearing a hand crafted $10,000 suit.
So for me Umberto was a disappointment and did not life up tot what it could have been. But it was entertaining and has some laughs, even if they were not intentional.

“Umberto” is a short story of mafia danger & lust. Umberto is a killer, a self described “bad man”. Victoria is a former heir turned college student. She starts off funny, thoughtful but a bit of a pushover. When she meets Umberto she releases her inner freak and it’s mutual insta-lust. She is an innocent in his brutal world. He gives her passion and asks for her trust. A one-night stand leads to a life-threatening situation and it’s up to Umberto to keep her safe. There are highly descriptive love scenes. Lots of dialogue and narration. I didn’t completely buy into their love/romance. But if you like insta-lust to insta-love then this story fits the bill!

from ruthless killer to a protector

Umberto is a ruthless blood thirsty killer whose only aim in life is to follow in his father’s footsteps. To be head of the family. But things change when he met Victoria. A med student and heir to a failed hospitality business.

Victoria is a 2nd year med student and barista at a diner. Her life is changed when Umberto arrives at the diner to murder a patron who went to the bathroom.

This book has one love interest, which I like. The love and love making between Victoria and Umberto slowly builds between the both of them.

The humor caught me by surprise and I found myself laughing out loud at Victoria’s sarcasm when responding to Umberto’s questions.

I definitely recommend this series.

Marvelous

Wow! This book was so dang good! It was definitely a dark romance with a few scenes that can be triggers, so proceed with caution. But
I for one this is one of the things I enjoyed about this book is that the female main character defied the norms. Victoria is a total b@d@$$! She’s a poor college student that was born with a golden spoon in her mouth but she's trying to stay low but she loves a good fight! Umberto is great too! I enjoyed their banter! I liked that they are so different but both are basically drawn to each other. I even enjoyed when I came to the epilogues, simply because I didn’t want this story to end. And it didn’t...which I am excited for the bonus epilogue. It's makes the ending even better!!!

This was a very enjoyable read. I was pleasantly surprised as this is a new to me author. Now I will have to check out her other books!

Victoria is a college student and a barista. Umberto is a mafia kingpin. Two people that you would never think would meet, do and the results are entertaining, fun and steamy. Kidnapping aside, they are really great for each other. Victoria isn't afraid to tell Umberto how it is. Umberto wants to keep Victoria safe, as well as keeping her forever.

Loved the happy ever after. Really enjoyed the epilogue's. I definitely recommend reading this book!

Umberto is the third book in Coco Miller’s Andolini Crime Family series which focuses on Victoria Holt, a working college student from a once wealthy family, and Umberto Bova, one of New York’s biggest mafia kingpins. Victoria and Umberto meet by accident at a coffee shop and he kidnaps her for her safety when he realizes she is the Holt Hotel heiress. I highly recommend this mafia romance which is a quick read with interesting characters and an engaging plot with drama, intrigue, suspense, danger, and sizzling attraction and love.

An amazing book three in the Andolini Crime Family mafia romance! The story line is well written, consistent, fast pace, and exciting. There is action, drama, intrigue, danger, and suspense. The characters strong, complex, and well developed; the chemistry between them is undeniable, instant, and intense. Strongly recommended.

I have enjoyed reading this series from Coco Miller and its been excellent. The mafia alpha males are great characters and are strong males. The female in this book Victoria is just perfect and she keeps Umberto on his toes. I love the way these two connect and grow as a couple, they have lots of drama to get through and it had me hooked and couldn't put it down, great book. Highly recommend

Hot and spicy

Victoria was the greatest take no crap heroine. She worked hard to be something and not a victim of her parent’s selfishness as well as speak her mind to Umberto. I loved her feistiness. Umberto had a tender heart that had been beaten down my a ruthless father and a whore for a mother. It took courage to let love in his heart. I have read all the books on this series and I loved them. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Romance book

This is a quick steamy romance book. There is ONE scene where someone shoot from an elevator that is 2 lines long. This NOT a mafia book, the hero is said to be a Don, but there is very little world building surrounding that. The entire book is centered around the couples one night and their background. To be honest, I am being generous with the extra star. If it was marketed as a romance quick read, then it would be worth the 4 stars.

A whirlwind of a romance as Umberto was captivated with Victoria, spotting her at the coffee shop where she worked, while stalking his target.
For a short romance, this one was packed with graphic hot scenes as their chemistry precluded everything else.

The story on Umberto and Victoria was too fast. What happen with her father? For a nice girl less than 1 hour later, she was asking for sex from a stranger. Falling in love was the quickest of any story I've ever read. Both epilogues were beautifully written.

This story seemed a bit rushed. It was okay and I found the ending which of course was Umberto and his lady's HEA a better part of the story. Andolini Crime Family #2 Giovanni was the better of the three.
