A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors.
And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder.
*A laugh out loud standalone cozy mystery by New York Times Bestseller Addison Moore* All books in the series can be read individually but are best enjoyed in order.***Includes RECIPE***

My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, aka dead pets, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.

My best friend, Keelie, is getting married and there are still so many things to do—like procure a dress for the bride. But when a body turns up at the bridal shop, and my best friend is pegged as the killer, the wedding takes a back seat to murder.

Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see dead pets—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.

Living in the small town of Honey Hollow can be murder.

It’s great to be back in Honey Hollow, I fell in love with this world and all the characters that Addison Moore cooked up and I couldn’t be any happier to be back in Lottie’s world and see how things are getting on. Addison has done a great job at keeping the paces up, especially when only a month before (in the actual book) Lottie and the guys were only over in Cider Cove where Lottie was a guest Judge, so the fact that Addison has managed to write everything perfectly and have it flow all in one is amazing. I know that it takes a lot of skill when you an author decides to have some of her characters cross over into another series and I know for a fact that not many authors can pull it off, but Addison did a great job and whilst it’s like Lottie never left, everything works with the timeline great. I was hooked from the very beginning and honestly, the more I read about Lottie the more I just love her. Plus, Addison keeps being such a cruel tease, I know that most people are rooting for Lottie to be with Essex and there may be a few that are rooting for Noah but at the end of the day, surely if Lottie loves them both and can’t decide between the two I think that she should just be with the two of them exclusively, okay…. Both Noah and Essex may not like it, but it’s clear that no matter how much they put on the act of hating each other, if there wasn’t any chemistry there between them all then one of the guys would of walked away a hell of a long time ago. Yet, the fact they still are willingly by Lottie’s side and that they are both encouraging Lottie to see how things are with the other, it’s clear their feelings are very much real and it’s not some kind of revenge matter that they are hashing out over years later. I honestly think that Addison needs to whip the guys into shape and let Lottie be with the two of them, but all three are together… She was dreaming about it in this book, so surely it makes sense. I would hate for all of them to have their hearts broken when it’s clear that they are all meant to be.
Other than Addison being cruel and tormenting us with the two guys, I think Addison has done a perfect job, there was nothing I could fault and even though Cormack appeared, she wasn’t actually that bad. I’m hoping that Addison will either make her turn into a nice character and have her actually get on with Lottie or that she’ll just kill her off eventually….
I honestly can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and with the way this book ended I have a feeling that Addison isn’t planning on stopping tormenting us soon. I strongly urge you to try this series, they are just that addictive.

Lottie, Noah, Essex, Evie and Carlotta have been back in Honey Hollow for just a few weeks after visiting Cider Cove where Lottie ended up becoming friends with Bizzy, the owner of an Inn over there and discovered that she too had her own special power…. Mind reading and honestly it was a great experience for Lottie and she loved it. Now they are all back and are carrying on with their lives. Lottie has her hands full with trying to help Keelie find a wedding dress (it might help if she wasn’t pregnant), but still she doesn’t want to see her pregnant best friend walking down the aisle in her dressing gown. So with Lottie working on that she’s also trying her best to keep Evie still sane and intact from the hands of Carlotta, things aren’t exactly going to plan. But as always wherever Lottie goes, disaster strikes and this time in the midst of trying to help Keelie find the perfect wedding dress, the afternoon ends up with Keelie becoming one of the top suspects in a murder case. Will Lottie be able to help find a way to clear Keelie’s name or is she in big trouble just weeks before her big day??? And what will Lottie do when it comes to choosing between Noah and Essex?

Sinfully Sweet

Cake Pop Casualtiesis the twenty-second book in the Murder in the Mix series by Addison Moore and it's fantastic as always. Town baker Lottie Lemon is once again doomed to stumble upon another deadly demise of her town's residents. Using her ever-evolving transmundane abilities and with the help of a spectral pet, Lottie and friends must hunt for a killer among the residents of Honey Hollow. But her killer-catching streak has become well-known enough to put her in danger of being the next victim so she must be stealthy in her pursuit.

Meanwhile, underneath the murder mystery remains the ongoing love triangle between Lottie, Everett and Noah. Lottie's been given permission by Noah to explore her feelings with Everett which continues to complicate matters. I mean who doesn't love a hunk with a heart of gold, nevermind two.

While this is a standalone, I highly recommend reading at least a few of the previous books in the series. This book is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page and give you a few good laughs in between. You'll thoroughly enjoy this spirited story from a wonderful author.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Book 22 in the Murder in the Mix series, and I still can’t get enough of Lottie Lemon and all of Honey Hollow! This time we are prepping for Keelie’s big day! Of course in true Keelie fashion she can not have a traditional wedding cake, nope Lottie is busy whipping up many favors of cake pops! When hunting for the perfect dress can be murderess quite literally, Lottie sets off to catch a killer. Full warning this book can cause you to laugh out loud and get strange looks from others surrounding you. Best part is I’m super stoked for the next installment and what it will bring!!!
This can be read as a stand alone like all the books in the series, but and there is a big but to get a better grasp of the characters and everything that has happened I suggest going back to book one. You will thank me later I promise.

Cake Pop Casualties is the twenty-second book in the Murder in the Mix Mystery series. This series stories builds on each other so I would suggest reading them in order to get the most out of it, but you could always read them as a stand alone if you wanted to and not be to far behind.
Lemon has a gift of seeing dead animal of those who will experience back luck soon, but lately deadly luck. Like all the books in this series, when Lottie sees a ghostly animal she knows death is soon to follow.
Keelie wedding is finally here, and she still doesn’t have a wedding dress. A week before the I do’s and she still is searching for the perfect dress and the last thing she expected was to have a dead body fall against her while searching. Solving this murder is personal for Lottie as she wants to get Keelie off the suspect list before she walks down the isle. Will she be able to find the killer in time?

Each book in this series gets better than the previous, granted book 1 will always be a favorite for introducing me to Honey Hollow, Lottie and the crew. This series is full of mysteries and each book brings a new mystery for the heroine and her friends to solve. Noah and Everett are still both as amazing as ever. In this book Keelie is preparing for her wedding but she has a murder charge hanging over her head and it's up to Lottie and the boys to find the real killer before it's too late. I was phenomenally pleased with this newest book and I can't wait to see what the author does next. Well done to the author.

Lottie Lemon owns the bakery in Honey Hollow, Vermont. Her best friend, Keelie, is getting married and doesn't want a traditional wedding cake. Lottie is baking lots and lots of cake pops in different flavors. Lottie brings trays of the treats to test out at a Bridal Boutique event at Pemberley Manor. She sees a ghostly goat, Bruiser. Seeing ghostly pets is a precursor that something bad is going to happen. The unfortunate happens right in front of Keelie. Lottie wants to solve the crime and clear her friend's name. Helping her will be the two men in her life, Noah and Everett. She loves them both and can't choose between the two. Along with the men, Bruiser and her deceased grandmother, Lottie is determined to find the culprit and ensure that Keelie's name is cleared and that the wedding can go off as planned. I'm not going to write any spoilers but, I loved the ending!

This is a cute series, the idea that Lottie can see dead people and animals and they help her solve mysteries has been fun to read about. In this story her best friend is getting married, there is a murder, some cake pops made at her bakery, a mystery and the forever struggle of choosing between two men. While the mystery is there, I am having trouble picking things to talk about in my review as it seems so very similar to the last few stories in this series. As I am no longer entertained, I think this will be my last. I do think others will enjoy this book and this series as it has a bunch of great aspects, I just didn't connect with any part of the story. I do like that there are recipes at the end of the story, makes it a bit interaction.

A Bridal Boutique, a Murder, a Funeral, a Wedding, and an Arrest

The above title sums up Cake Pop Casualties, book 22 in Addison Moore's Murder in the Mix series. The only thing missing is the ghost pet--a cute as can be baby pygmy goat!
Baker Lottie Lemon, whose sweet treats are known in her hometown of Honey Hollow, Vermont, is catering a pop-up bridal boutique at the Pemberley mansion. Lottie's best friend, bride-to-be Keelie, needs a dress, so bridesmaid Lottie is not only caterer (she's made cake pops, which Keelie prefers to a single cake) but also co-shopper at Pemberley. The mansion is named for owner Norman Pemberley, an elderly and ruthless billionaire with many ex-wives, stepchildren, and enemies--so when he's shot dead at the sale in his own home, it's hard to narrow down the suspect list. Bruiser, the adorable goat, insists every person Lottie talks to is guilty, then eats bakery inventory, then repeats. Lottie's departed grandmother Nell provides more levelheaded commentary...including advice on how to choose between her 2 soulmates, homicide detective Noah and judge Everett-- ex-stepbrothers she's dated, bedded, and even married (long stories) and who love her but encourage her to spend time with the other to "explore her feelings". But the more Lottie explores, the more confused she gets! Her birth mother Carlotta is no help; she thinks Lottie should just enjoy them both at once! Lottie thinks it's terrible advice and warns her bio mom away from Evie, the 15-year-old daughter Everett never knew about but is now raising with Lottie, his wife in name only.
Everywhere Lottie goes she sees and hears arguments between suspects, some related to Norman or his ex-wives, and some related to the business partner he cheated. That partner, Peter, had a heart attack and died from the stress. Who can blame Bruiser for his suspicion?
Carlotta, sketchy mom that she is, brings Lottie and both her men to meet with mob kingpin (and her former boyfriend) Luke Lazarri, who promises to find Norman's killer. Noah tells him not to bother because Lottie will do it first, Everett accuses Noah of competing for Lottie, Noah zings him for not competing for a woman because he never needs to, Lottie suffers uber-embarrassment, and Carlotta whips her shirt off due to a "hot flash". (If Lottie's 28, Carlotta is only 44 and her hot flashes are premature! But it gives her an excuse to get half-naked.)
Keelie's twin Naomi gives her a bachelorette party. Lottie vetoes all talk of male strippers and the gang ends up at a line dance venue, where Evie disappears repeatedly and Lottie stays busy monitoring her. Guess who else shows up? Noah and Everett! (And Bruiser and Nell, but only Carlotta, who shares Lottie's gift, can tell.) Keelie, who's 7 months pregnant, feels as big as the Pemberley mansion, but a good time is still had by all.
When the "celebration of life" (funeral) for Norman arrives, Keelie begs off, and Lottie can't fault her for not wanting to return to the place where the host was murdered and fell onto her. But when she sees Noah's scheming dad pouring drinks and her besotted adoptive mom Miranda crowing about their good fortune in landing this "gig", Lottie tells her to be respectful. Miranda replies, "Lighten up. You'd think you were at a funeral!" Um, yes, they are...
So are most of the suspects, and when Noah is called away on business, Lottie questions the 2 chief suspects without him. But when she discovers another party guest is using an alias to hide a connection to the dead business partner, Lottie finds herself being pushed off a balcony. Everett catches Lottie, Noah cuffs the killer, and it's happily after!
Or is it? The Lazarri crime family Noah busted escaped prosecution, and Cressida escaped punishment for sending death threats to Lottie. Catnapper Cormack received community service and must work in a homeless shelter weekly; right away, she wants to talk to Cressida's lawyers about minimizing her sentence. Cressida won't bother with her "brat", but she might suction herself to Everett like the leech she is.
Guided by Nell, Lottie shows Keelie the perfect dress! Keelie was going to wear her bathrobe for lack of anything better, so it turns out well for her.
Wise Nell tells Lottie she'll figure out which man to choose, and in a flash Lottie knows! She races to his house, and THEN it's a happily ever after!
I'm a sucker for pygmy goats, and when Bruiser pretends to faint, be still my beating heart! I won't reveal Lottie's choice, but it will become clear in book 23. I only docked the book a star for introducing too many confusing minor characters; otherwise, it would easily earn 5 stars for bringing an apparent end to Lottie's "Noah or Everett" dilemma. (I say "apparent" because a lot can happen in 31 books...) Lottie brings readers into her confusion, and both men have qualities that make her indecision natural. Even ridiculous Miranda has only a cameo! Highly recommended.

I have to say that I am over the moon happy with the ending of this one. I can only imagine what Addison has in store for us with the next book in this series. They are all just amazing from book one to this one and then on out... Boy oh boy, I think they get better as they go along. To be honest, I was wondering how many of these could be written before it started to get old, but I have to say I am not bored of this series yet and as I have stated over and over again, Lottie and the gang are like family at this point..LOL

In this book of the series, Lottie and the gang are trying to find the perfect wedding dress for Keelie for her wedding day. While at some big wedding dress sale at a mansion, of course, there is a Murder and Lottie's treats are found at the scene of the crime, and Lottie is on the case to solve this murder in time to get her best friend free of the suspension of murder and find that wedding dress.

You will love this book as much as you love any other book of Addison's. You can read this as a stand-alone or if you want to know the truth you should read the entire series because really it makes these books so much better to know them from the start.

I’m excited to hear that Lottie might actually be taking her love life to a better level in actually choosing a partner or at the least giving it a fair chance. Jumping back and forth so quickly is ridiculous! If she really wants a stable family relationship she needs to become serious in every aspect of said relationship! She’s been married for 6 months without giving the marriage a real go of it. She shouldn’t just let another marriage just disappear without some serious thought about the future! Time will tell if she really does give the current marriage a chance and doesn’t slip back to her wishy washy ways!!

Lottie finds herself at the scene of another dead body. She also finds her BFF Keelie in the spotlight as the one people think is the killer. Lottie vows to absolve Keelie of the crime and sets about proving her innocence. There are the usual twists and turns, along with the supernatural visitors that are a benchmark of Lottie's books. She gets some insight and help with her love life also. When I was just about giving up hope that Lottie would make a decision, my prayers got answered. It was another entertaining read.

If you are invested in this series, THIS is the book!!

A high society murder with plenty of suspects to go around, bringing with it the cutest little goat!

Lottie makes a very serious decision at the end of this book that will leave you gasping for air.
Or if your like me, crying like a child.

How do you wait for the next book?
No, seriously. Let me know.
I'm going to need therapy by the time this series is complete.

Lottie Lemon has another murder to solve. She has time running against her as she needs to clear her best friend before her wedding! With a cute little friend of the ghostly variety, Noah, and Everett, Lottie will search for clues to find the killer. It will take all of them, Lottie's family and friends, and some who are dearly departed to catch a killer in time. Compared to picking a love interest, solving a murder will be a piece of cake for Lottie Lemon!

Here we are at the 22nd novel, and boy, oh, boy, that ending is something that we've been waiting a long time for. I can't wait to read the 23rd!

Lottie, Noah, Essex and all of the rest of the residents of Honey Hollow are here to entertain. This book centers around Keelie's wedding, and of course Lottie and the gang need to track down a killer. As always, a funny, laugh-out-lout cosy mystery with lots of fun moments.

Finally!!!!

I finally got what I wanted. She chose. Not till the end of the book, but still, she chose. A new book coming out soon so we will see how the one not chosen takes it. In the meantime, this book had a great mystery. Randy old rich man gets murdered, and there are a lot of people who were not sorry about it. Lottie's best friend Keeley gets married, and there was something very special about that. This was a very good book.

whew! less relationship drama, more investigation

Honey Hollow readies itself for Keelie’s and Bear’s nuptials except that Keelie happens to be next to the aged and very rich Norman Pemberly when he is shot and killed at very short range.

As usual, a slew of characters has motive and means - but all’s well that ends well, the murder is captured, and the wedding proceeds drama-free.

Another wedding coming to Honey Hollow and Lottie is there to make Keelies' day the best. First, they have to find dress, but it comes at a price and Keelie is the suspect. So, Lottie, Noah, and Everett are going to find the killer. The wedding is going to be under a dark cloud if they cannot find the murder.
Lottie still can't decide to choose, Noah or Everett, but will there be happiness or heartache? But Lottie can count on the bakery and all the delicious sweets.

Another murder for Lottie to solve!

Lottie needs to clear her best friend , Keelie, as a suspect. Lottie also discovers that Noah and Everett are both her soulmates which makes it even harder to choose one to be with as a family. Read this book to find out how Lottie discovers the killer. Happy reading! 😊

Amazing

This book was amazing. It’s one of my favorite series, so of course I didn’t expect anything less. This was actually the first time I guessed who the killer was, yay! It was funny, fast paced and the story line is finally going somewhere. Really pleased with the ending.

I FINALLY think Lottie is choosing Everett. 20 books in and it’s getting old she needs to choose the right man and start her life in this series. I still love Nell’s character and the cute animals that we get to meet in the book!
