Cupid is indeed complicated. I usually don’t pick this genre but somehow feel contented to read such a thoughtful & comforting story. The plot elucidates this complicated emotion of “Love” truly.

Naman & Dhwani meet in college and the sparks of something very special brewing between them is very much evident. Both have their own interests & passion but never deter to support and be there for each other as friends. A trip to Singapore after winning a competition in college gives them the space to understand their affection but some sinister plan is being colluded among friends which may change their equation. Will they be able to move on from the mishap? Will their relationship stand against the tide of time? The climax was definitely unexpected.

Most love stories victimise the girls but here I loved the part of showing the male protagonist in the same light. Everyone can fall
prey to darkness it cannot be a gender thing. The aspects of peer pressure, vile intent, hope, love, friendship and other soothing elements make this book quiet moving and can be read in one go. Only flaw I felt was the story picking up pace much later in all a good read specially for Romance genre fans.

‘Cupid is Complicated’ by Namita Bajaj is a book that revolves around Naman and Dhwani. Dhwani is a very charming girl who aspires to be a singer but she is also an introvert who always used to be in her own world which consisted of her family and her aspirations whereas Naman Mehta is a person with an infectious smile with a ‘boy next door’ tag. Dhwani and Naman meet during the college fest and before she knew she was falling in love with him. Soon they started spending a lot of time together but whenever the two met time just used to fly by. The two just couldn’t confess their feelings for each other for a long time. Aakash has interest in Dhwani and then we are introduced to a Tia who too has feelings for Naman. Everything was going fine between the two until one day when Dhwani encounters Naman in a situation with a girl and she totally misunderstands the situation. Naman tries his best to convince Dhwani about the situation but she was hurt and was not ready to hear or understand anything. What will happen between Dhwani and Naman? Are they destined to be together? To know read ‘Cupid is Complicated’.

My Thoughts:

Plot is simple but has a twist on every page. We follow the stories of Naman and Dhwani and it was very cute to read their whole story. Right from Chapter 1 when they both get introduced to each other and how it was love at first sight for Dhwani. The plot twist was also very good and the struggle that both went through could also been seen. I would say that the plot is engaging and it will surely keep the readers hooked till the end.

Characters are well developed and relatable. The reaction that Dhwani has when she faces the situation was aptly narrated and her emotions were excellently depicted. I liked Naman how tries his best to handle the situation and how faithful he has always been to Dhwani. Dhwani’s family members are also a big support to her and they are always there for her.

Language is simple and lucid and the narration is done beautifully.

I totally loved the book cover it is very cute. The title of the book is also very cute and totally apt to the plot.

Overall, I would say that it was a very good story and I enjoyed reading it a lot. I would surely recommend it to all.

It's a simple book with a simple plot. I wished there could have been a Lil more twists. The narration of the story is simple and easygoing keeping the reader hooked throughout. It was a Lil slow-paced book for me. There are many unanswered questions in this book like where did Akash go? What happened next? Did he tell the truth? If No, Why?. I wished the story was Lil longer with all the answers.
The writing style of the author is crisp and lucid, that one can relate to. This book will remind you of your college days. The family drama, cousins love, chitchats with friends, the college gossips, this book has it all. Though I expected some more drama.
This book is for the one who wants to start reading a love story. A simple and sweet story.

Ever heard about people lost in love?
This book not just makes you fall in love with it, but even makes you lose your own limits and see new heights of love.
Author brings you a new age romance where love is not presented to you with some made up fairy tale plot. Being a writer myself I would suggest readers to find out how Cupid is Complicated and how author has managed to bring this truly complicated tale in form of words which makes this book a truly page turner.
The title with one of its word upside down along with the cover is what gives a hint about how every part of this book has been narrated with complete perfection.
Stories like such increases the romance inside me to several folds.
A story that will tug at your heart strings like never before, a story that will make you wonder
what ‘hope’ is all about; here is a story that will make you want to rethink - what ‘LOVE’ really is.
Being narrated in a very engaging and lucid manner, the story goes on flawlessly.  And the well paced flow of narration will surely take every reader just like me to another level of happiness.

Cupid is complicated is a love story of Dhawni and Naman, they are best of friends but they both love each other in their heart but never expressed their feelings . Dhawni is a beautiful and confident college girl and wanted to become a singer and her family always supporting and encourages her to pursue dreams.story started with a college fest where she is going to perform first time and her friends are there too to support her with Naman.later on she saw Naman with a new girl Tia and she thought their friendship or love story ends but there are lot of things happened which really made her life complicated.
Story is good and a simple narrative makes it a easy read, also how slowly and steadily love story goes it expressed beautifully.
But one thing which i didn't digest how Dhawni forgive Naman after his one night stand which is really shocking and shows how love makes a person so weak that she ignored such a big thing.

Naman Mehta and Dhwani Banshal felt attracted to each other the very moment their eyes met. While they were busy debating whether it was love or mere infatuation – an international trip changes the equation of love and the tale – life happened and the cupid hit them with his arrows of misunderstanding. Love and Cupid is indeed complicated.

The book has elaborate details and description of characters but I , personally felt that this book needed a little more twists . The book is a college romance which is bound to make you remember the sweet bitter days of your college life. The way Naman and Dhwani conversed via glances , blushes and smiles – you are bound to in “aww” with them. This book has thought me important lessons – first and foremost , love is blind and not every love story has a happy ending – second : one should always pay heed to the other person's version of the story – and last but not the least don’t confine your feelings and always try to clear misunderstandings because misunderstanding is a mean person – it destroys the most beautiful and wonderful relationships . THERE ARE MILD SEXUAL SCENES -so read it at your own discretion.
According to me , the book was a bit slow paced and there were some loose ends. This book explores love as sweet pain. The word “complicated” is written upside down in the cover – I think this signifies the complexity of love and how love can topsy-turvy one's world.GO GRAB YOUR COPY AND START READING.

What is love? Can one possibly love someone without any conditions, obligations, or even acknowledgment? This seems unreal. Here is a cute love story, 'Cupid is Complicated' by Namita Bajaj.

Naman and Dhwani meet each other at college. They hit it off instantly and the romance starts brewing between them. But they never acknowledge their feelings to each other. Life moves on. Naman has all the faith in the world that one day, he will be with the love of his life. Both of the love birds are focused on their career and do not want to jeopardize their future. Will Naman and Dhwani ever make it?

The book is a cute love story with cringe-worthy moments. The book is also filled with college memories, peer pressure, friendship, and more. The language is simple and lucid. I do not read romance novels much, so I was not a big fan of this book. But if you are into this genre, you can pick it up.

Naman Dhwani - two teen-ager meet in a collage add find a soothing bond with eachother. They did not rush to babe the bond love, cause love can be short infatuation too and they wanted to take time and accept the essence of love. But can love be this easy to win? Grab the book to enjoy of purity in a sweet young love.

Wow loved the way the author scripted the story. She has maintained the innocence, confusion, struggle and fear. I desired such a sweet love in my life...

It's crazy but I find a soothing bond with pain. This story what says the tale of a love that was, will stay as a sweet pain to remember.

"Cupid is Complicated" is a realistic masterpiece . A story following the growing romance between Dhwani and Naman. From stealing glances at each other to stealing hearts of readers, the book has done an applaudable job. The climax is very(emphasize very) well written. The twists, as the story moves forward, gets unpredictable. Kudos to beautifully penned down climax. I don't think there could have been a better climax. This book proved to be a good read. It will be 4.5/5 for me😀

A book that will make you believe that love is an emotion of such divinity, that when it is truly felt by the heart, it requires no affirmation by anybody else, not even the one it is all about! It is an entity on its own that fills you with life. Read the book to find out more about how it changed Naman and Dhwnai's life!

My review:

You seldom come across a book that makes you want to pick it up just looking at the cover. This book was literally love at first sight. So naturally I picked it up. That said... The blurb was almost like poetry. I mean who wouldn't want to read a story where 'he' believes only in 'her'. A beautifully crafted story between two teenagers Naman and Dhwani that makes you want to beleive in the existence of true love. Not just that it makes you question what you already know of love and at the same time wonder if such a love had ab existence at all. Is it possible to love someone without holding them back? Is it possible to love someone and not divulge your emotions at all? Is it possible for such a love to exist?

A beautiful story by author Namita Bajaj who once again wrote a story that redefines love. Again..is it possible to uncover so many aspects of love like she does? ( At the threshold of love) being an exceptional one as well.

Go ahead an read it if you haven't already! #love #readerreview #bookreview #ahaanatheblogger insta@ahaanarheblogger #lovestory #cupidiscomplicated

When souls are entwined nothing in this universe can keep you apart ,for it's an eternal bond 💖✨

INSIGHT:- Naman and dhwani were two souls, connected by the universe. Their journey, was not of now. It had commenced the moment their souls had come alive. Their journey was towards each other. It was unknown if they knew what lay within their hearts. They felt impulses that guided their hearts towards each other. They were unaware of what was meant to be, but their souls danced in unison towards what was coming to become. What they knew was that they were together in their hearts and would be, until, forever. But will they end up together?or will they part their ways?

REVIEW:- In the beginning I liked how the story was heading with such well expression of emotions 😍 engaging the reader throughout and I was really hoping for an ideal happy ending but author had some other plans 😢. It was all cute and butterflies in the beginning but as I got nearer to the climax my heart was filled with grief as the ending was definitely not an "ideal" one😢. This book made me rethink and redefine what 'Love' actually is.

MESSAGE:- 1) choose your friends wisely .
2) choose a person who would love your soul and would always be there for you ❤️
3) true love always stays Always 🌟.

STRENGTH:-1) storyline is appreciable.
2) the book is very well written and has enough magical lines to penetrate your heart and mind ✨.
3) unexpected climax.
4) the title did justice to the story.

WEAKNESS:- though it is very well written , a beginner would like to have a dictionary opened nevertheless new words would help in better communication 😊.

FAVOURITE LINES 😍:- 1)Yes, she loved him, with all her soul, she did. But then, time was the decision maker; destiny the concluder and faith was her alibi.
2)He held her gaze and she held her breath.
3)When you held my heart, You held my world, Across all lengths and breaths, My love’s now unfurled…
4)Sometimes, It takes more than a lifetime to acknowledge the matters of the heart and sometimes, a mere breath is enough to decipher what the soul needs.

TARGET AUDIENCE:- everyone who would like to experience a rollercoaster ride of emotions while enjoying a cute yet complicated lovestory.

When you truly love someone and if you are not meant to be then is it not love at all💔💖?

HAPPY READING FOLKS 😊✨

Book Title: Cupid is complicated
Author: Namita Bajaj
Format: Kindle

Book Title:
The title of the book ' Cupid is complicated ' is warming and sweet

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is a picture of a couple who seem to be in passionate love. The cover is very attractive.

My review:
This is a story about a young woman, Dhwani who aspires to be a singer eventually meets Naman and thus the cupid strikes his arrow. As said, nothing goes planned, their relationship falls into a pit with disturbances.

One of the striking points I liked is the name of the Character Dhwani, which means sound, and she aspires to be a singer. These small nuances are what the young authors implement and it works wonderfully. The human emotions are very realistically illustrated.

This is the second book I read which the author Namita wrote. I also liked her previous book 'At the threshold of love'.

What I like:
1. A simple and sweet storyline
2. Dhwani's  strong characterization and her career orientation
3. The complications a couple faces when in a relationship is explained well
4. The difference between love and platonic love is described nicely

What I didn't like:
It is a simple yet nice story. Young readers will definitely like the book and thus nothing to dislike.

Characters:
The story runs behind three main central characters out of which Tia's character is the most important as the story takes a great U-turn after her introduction. The other characters Naman and Dhwani, with attractive names have good strength and space.

Narration:
The narration is the heart of the story. Though a known plot, the author has managed to retain the emotional quotient well till the end of the story.

Language & Grammar:
A fine usage of the English language and grammar is used in the book.

My Final Verdict:
A heartwarming love story during the lockdown times

Book Title: 3/5
Book Cover: 3/5
Plot: 3/5
Characters: 3/5
Narration: 3/5

𝑨𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓: Namita Bajaj
𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒆: Romance
𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕: Kindle
𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔: 236
𝑴𝒚 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈: 4/5
𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘: The story starts with a wedding scene where the bride and groom are preparing to exchange garlands and the bride is in thoughts. It flows into the past story as Dhwani prepares for her first on - stage gig as a singer. Here we are introduced to Naman. Through small interactions here and there in between the concert and chats among friends, we see that there are emotions brewing beneath the surface of Dhwani and Naman. The rest of the story shows how they keep circling around their emotions until they come to fruition.
The story reminded me of my teenage years when we were trying to come in terms with our own emotions and attraction for a person. The story honestly captures the tangled heart of a teenager. The ups and downs that Naman and Dhwani face are truly heart breaking. If things did not happen as they did, may be their paths would be different. There are a lot of what ifs in their lives but the characters learn to accept the path fate had chosen for them.
I liked the fact that the ending was not like a typical romance. It was actually the ending that I think was deserved by all the characters involved. This was the best that life could've given them. So kudos to the author for not going the typical cheesy way of love. It was the end that finally resonated with the title "Cupid is Complicated". No where did it feel that it was a outwardly romance but it felt natural and could definitely happen in real life. I think that was why I liked the story. The characters were relatable and as teenagers, the author did not portray them as overly foolish or unthinking creatures (which we are all guilty of in our teens 😁).
The author has carefully written the story in the simplest yet attention grabbing way. Read the book to assure yourself that no matter what happens in life, it happens for our own good and that you never ever forget your first love.

Get set for college romance

The story starts with introduction of Dhawni who have her first performance in intercollegiate fest and being encouraged by her family where character sahaan (Dhawni's younger brother) is cuite and notorious, the first chapter shows a loving and caring family which perfectly sets readers mood to read. This college fest brought a new blossom in Dhawni's Life when she meet Naman the another protagonist. From here starts the journey of college romance.
As story goes further the two protagonist discover new heights of love but does every love story ends well?, So what you think will Dhawni and Naman get together or cupid will hit some other arrows? As the title says "cupid is complicated" so 'yes' reader will find twists , which keeps him/her intact. The songs by dhwani touches heart' i loved the song" don't let go".
The author have try to explain aspects of love and relationship with a good plot. Drafting and language both are remarkable being a romance Lover I enjoyed reading this story. Cover is perfect with a couple reflecting love for each other.

Some lines from story that will touch your soul
1)Sometimes, It takes more than a lifetime to acknowledge the matters of the heart and sometimes, a mere breath is enough to decipher what the soul needs.
2)While I sit by your side, While you looked into my eyes… You kept filling my world, You kept making me, me.
3)He smiled as he felt the emotion ‘love’ overpower every cell within him.
4) I believe I belong.. right there where you stand.. I can hear your heart beat, Inside mine, yes I can!

Book Name- Cupid Is Complicated
Author- Namita Bajaj
Review- Cupid Is Complicated is a cute love story which unfolds the tale of two teenagers who fell in love with each other. Talking about teenage love it always resembles innocence and the first perceptions we have for love and our innocent acts. The story like revolves around Naman and Dhwani who fall for each other in their teenage years. The book reflects the college times, college tests and eventually the raw selves as most people are in the beginning of this age where college days are tough to adjust in the beginning, a roller coaster ride for some and eventually an unforgettable phase of life where we actually confront a lot of new situations and realize it time already to take decisions in life. First love leaves a deep impression on many and it’s natural as all the first experiences remind us of how immature we were yet it’s considered the most blissful experience as we do some things which we surely laugh on now when we remember it. The writings of the book gives a clear picture of first love and most importantly the feelings and the jumbling of emotions one goes through which cannot be described in words. The book reflects a pure form of love which is far away from the shadows of lust and which is quite rare these days. The narration was fluid since the concept is simply beautiful and it throws light upon the golden time of our lives. The beginning with a marriage scene which leads us to a flash back and eventually to the story it holds the depiction of emotions done is just amazing.

Have you ever heard of people in love?
Not only will this book make you fall in love, it will even make you lose your own boundaries and see new heights of love. The author brings you a new age romance where love doesn't come your way. with an imagined fairy tale story. As a writer myself, I would suggest readers find out how complicated Cupid is and how the author managed to put this really complicated story into words, which makes this book a real upheaval. The title with one of its words backwards along with the cover gives an idea of how each part of this book has been told with absolute perfection. Stories like this increase the romance in me many times over. A story that will make your heart beat faster. This book is all about college romance and twinkling emotions. It will surely remind readers of their quality time at college, and the descriptions of college life, friends, happiness, and struggles are, to an extent, relatable as well. It's a story revolving around Dhwani and Naman, two love birds whose souls dance in anticipation of what lies ahead for the rest of their lives, unknowing that destiny has something else stored for them.

The plot is very simple and slow-paced until the book reaches its midpoint, from where there are turn of events making it believe that something good might lay ahead.

Narration of emotions is something that needs an applause in this book. It's very beautifully expressed. The voice of the author, through her words, was very loud, clear, and crisp.

I would say that the title of the book justified what its contents had for the readers. At some point, I had the hope that everything would be back to normal and there would be a happy ending as usual. But to my dismay, there was a twist, making it hard to believe that a little misunderstanding could lead to such an ending.

I felt that the author failed to explain the reason for such a turn in events. I kept looking for answers till the end, but couldn't get one. The author tried to wrap up things in a hasty manner without realising the fact that some questions need to be answered to readers.

Overall, it's an average read which could have been much better had there been a little stretch in events and a better explanation of what exactly happened that changed the course of life of two lovers.

Review:  This is the story of Dhwani and Naman. They become best friends in college. They secretly love each other and express that through songs and sweet gestures but not express their love directly to each other. Why do they deny themselves this love? Why do they hold themselves back? This love which was young, spontaneous and all consuming.
Dhwani wants to study and become more in her life and not fall for someone so early in her life. However her heart feels otherwise. Naman loves her completely and feels like he is already a part of her family. He meets her family and wants to be a part of it.
The book starts as a sweet love story but some unfathomable and unpredictable turns. The author has painstakingly explained the turmoil of the protagonists in the earlier chapters. It was necessary to explain their thoughts and actions later.

Paarth, Aakash and Tanisha are their common friends. These five together go through college and the ups and downs of life together. "It was as if she was no longer complete on her own,she needed him to complete her".This statement by Dhwani gives the readers a peek into her mind.
Cupid is complicated is an unexpected love story. The author did not go the usual romcom way rather chooses a bold storyline. She is in a way telling us that our actions have consequences.
Till end the reader is on the edge of the seat to know how Dhwani and Naman will end up. Pick it up if you are looking for a romance book which will make you think.

There is a famous quote that“The heart that's meant to love you'll fight for you when you want to give up,pick you up when you're feeling down and will give their smile when it's hard for you to find yours?”
Love can be positive for someone and negative to some peoples well.In it's various forms love acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationship. The word‘Love’can have a variety of related but distinct meanings in different context. This book beautifully describes love in it's purest form..

Dhawni, the protagonist is a charming college girl. She has her passion in singing and her family support invigorate her all the time to persue her ambition. On the other hand,Naman the male protagonist is a polite and humble guy and in course of time in a college fest they fall in love with each other.

But as we all know if there is no obstacle in love then that love will not be a perfect one.Things escalated and their sweet, florid faces some enigmatic, exasperating perilous confrontment.

What'll happen next? Will a third-person appear in this elegant relationship to mutilate it completely! Well you need to read this book to find out the remnant..

A novel with so much ups-downs and all of it in such a lucid language. An amazing story with such a gorgeous cover and the title truly defines the book. You should definitely give it a try to enjoy a adventurous ride of love through this story. It feels so rational. Beginners Will definitely enjoy it a lot.

A short and sweet Love story between college students. Dhwani a 19 year old introvert, self loving passionate singer living a simple college going girl life - supportive parents, mischievous siblings and surrounded by her loving friends. The story mainly revolves around Dhwani and Naman who share purest kind of friendship bond. Naman who has a charming gentlemen personality has a very protective nature towards Dhwani which now and then gets reflected as the story commence. The first part of the story explains how unknowingly they fall for each other and yet struggles to confess their feelings. Dhwani here being a very sensible person keeping her priorities straight to the point and choose to stick with them; where Naman completely accepts her choices without even having a discussion shows how deeply they know each other. But all this changes the minute they flew off to Singapore for their college tour and the story gets twisted. I liked how Dhwani maturely handles the situation and takes her decisions. Their bond truely gets justified time and then from that moment. Climax hits and everything changes. The ending was totally strange and unexpected for me. Initially it seems to be a little slow paced storyline but later on everything was just moving a bit fast and halted on a strange yet thoughtfull note.
Overall It was a good story with truly justifying this beautiful title and cover photo - "Cupid is Complicated

‘Cupid is Complicated’ is a teenage romance fiction story about Dhwani and Naman based in Bengaluru. The book focuses on the first year of college over five years in glimpses.

The story begins on the day of the fest in the college, where Dhwani is going to sing while Naman presents a product launch. Throughout the fest, we got introduced to the feelings of the two while bonding with their friends. Then the Singapore trip began, where the major emotional part of the story is based. Here all hell broke with all the misunderstandings. The story after this is quite haphazard.

The book is fast-paced, making it hard to connect with the characters sometimes. The story gets skipped to various days. There are too many plottings by the side characters and misunderstandings between Dhwani and Naman. The end was not well settled for me. There are many loose strings in the story. Initially, when the story began, Dhwani was portrayed as a strong independent girl. However, by the end of the book, her character is meek and quiet. The same was the case with Naman, portraying him as too self-less. Neither there is character development nor character progression throughout the story.

The book is 146 pages, divided into 18 chapters where the story goes back to 5 years and then gradually connects to the present. Written in simple language, it is an easy read. If you enjoy contemporary romance, you can give the book a try.

💖Dhwani is a good singer who writes her own songs and she is also pursuing her graduation. Naman is a friend of hers and also studies in the same college. They both are so comfortable in each other's presence.
Will they fall in love?
Will they express their love for each other?
What does destiny has for them in it's store?
Will they get married?
Will they be happy forever?

✨The author has written the book in such a way that love pours down in every chapter. The characters are drenched in love. She has narrated every bit very keenly. The love is so good and I have adored it
✨There are unexpected turns in the story .I liked the ending very much and enjoyed reading every bit of the story that I didn't know how time flew while reading .I strived hard to digest the unexpected twists but i found the ending so relieving
✨It's really heart wrenching to see how the greed of one person turns the fate of another person upside down
✨The vocabulary is penny plain and the story is quite intriguing and drives us till the end

This Romantic Fiction is the best I've read in a while. The story is mature even though the backdrop is of a college. The main characters of Dhwani and Naman are very subtle and classy. Whereas the characters of Paarth and Aakash are confusing. At one point it says that Aakash has feelings for Dhwani, and then in next few chapters, it says Paarth has feelings for her. I had to go back to the previous chapters to confirm what I read which kind of spoilt my flow. The other thing that irked me was the rare but evident grammatical and spelling errors.

Coming to the plot, it was a predictable one but with an anticlimax. I sat back for half an hour going back through the story again to analyse where all things could have settled between the two love birds, but the plot was so wonderfully set that I couldn't negate with the story at any point!

Considering the genre, I loved how the narration was so mature and respectful, which I specifically look for in a romantic fiction. The writing style was simple yet unique and again added to the charm of the story.

The cover design with the embossed lettering was apt when combined with the white background. Overall a flawless book cover design, also giving a hint about the plot.

All in all, this is the kind of book that I'd want to read again after a few months or years perhaps.

Cupid is Complicated by Namita Bajaj turned out to be quite a heartwarming read.

The story revolves around Dhwani and Naman. Dhwani is an aspiring singer-songwriter and the story opens with her getting ready for her college fest where she will be performing – her first performance in front of an audience. We’re introduced to her group of friends as well at this point. One of the friends is Naman. It’s very clear from the very beginning that there is definitely something more than just a friendship between Naman and Dhwani but neither of them want to rush into things. The beginning of the book will leave you grinning eye to eye at the sheer innocence of their liking for each other and how they are around one another. They then go for an international college sponsored trip to Singapore and at this point their story takes quite a turn.

I, being an avid reader of the romance genre, definitely enjoyed reading this book. It’s written in such a simple and easy way that the story keeps flowing. At no point would you feel the book is slow or stretched. Naman and Dhwani’s story was so real and raw throughout. The ending truly resonated with the title – Cupid is Complicated.

Would I recommend this book to others? For sure. If you’re someone looking for a light, simple and quick read, this is the book for you.

This is an amazing book written by the author. Initially when I started this book I was going slow and so I wasn't enjoying this book but then as I continued with it I couldn't stop myself and completed it in a go.

I like how the author developed the story between Dhwani and Naman. Their friendship and then their sweet love story. I could feel all those emotions that Dhwani felt. The happiness, the love, the protective instinct for someone you truly love.
The ups and downs they were going through I felt as if I am in that situation. The pain they had to endure it brought me to near tears. I felt bad for Naman because what happened with him was wrong! I was so enraged at Akash and Tia for what they did. I felt so sad for Dhwani too.
What was good was that the author makes you realise that yes there will be ups and downs no doubt in that but you should never lose hope. You shouldn't let your friendship be affected because of circumstances which weren't in your hand. The author teaches the importance of forgiveness, let's you know it's good to keep hopes and also gives you a sweet romance story which ends up to be a great example of what true friends should be like.
I recommend this book to all those readers who are looking for something related to friendship and a sweet college romance.

This story starts as college love
story , it's not your typical fairytale story but there is an element of mushy love all around. Dhwani, our female lead is an aspiring songwriter and singer, a bubbly girl who mature for age. Naman, the hero of our story, a perfect gentleman, with a ' boy next door ' vibe enters college and it was love at first sight for both of them. Although, the cupid had struck both of them, still both of them did not confess their feelings to each other. They spent all their time together in college, both felt mushy, yet something was holding them back.

One day they got a chance to go an international college trip together. While both Naman and Dhwani were trying to understand each other's feelings, Akash developed feelings for our heroine.

And, then something happened in Singapore, which broke Dhwani 's trust and they grew apart. What happens next, is not my favorite part, I wanted a more happy ending different than this one.

Plot was good but could have been more engaging. Characters were very well developed and relatable, Naman and sargam are my favorite characters. The language used is simple and the story flows beautifully.

I would recommend this book, to anyone who likes a not- so - mushy college romance.

Written in a crisp and lucid style, the book is for someone who wants to start reading a love story. The book follows the story of Naman and Dhwani who meet during their college days. While Naman is portrayed as “boy next door”, Dhwani is presented as an extremely shy and introvert person. They find it hard to confess their feelings for each other for a long time. Eventually two more characters named Aakash and Tia are introduced. While the latter has feelings for Naman, the former is in love with Dhwani. Alas, the cupid is really complicated!

One day Dhwani finds Naman with another girl and totally misunderstands the situation. Naman tries his best to convince Dhwani of the actual truth but Dhwani is adamant in her decision. Is Naman able to make up things right to Dhwani or does their love story ends even before it begins? ‘Cupid is Complicated’ answers all of these.

Even with a simple plot, the author has managed to add a few twists pretty well which keep the reader hooked. The language is simple and understandable, characters are well set and well structured, narration is smooth and delightful. If you are a beginner in this genre of romance, ‘Cupid is Complicated’ is a good book to start with.

Its a simple book with a bit simple plot. Sometimes I feel like there could have been a Lil more twists but sometimes I found twist on every next page. The narration is also simple and easygoing which is keeping me stick to the book throughout. Characters are well developed and relatable. The book follow the story of
Naman and Dhawni, from their introduction to how they fell in love, the narrator portray it nicely. The language is simple and lucid. There are some unanswered questions like where did akash go? What happened after that? What did he do? Did he tell the truth or not? According to me It would be a little more nicer if the book has a bit more explaination. The writing style is crisp. The book may remind you your college days that one can relate to. Like the gossip with friends, chitchat with cousins and all of that. There is a little family drama also as expected from a typically Indian family. I wish there would a little more of that though but still it was good. The cover is really cute the tittle is also totally apt to plot. Overall I would say its a good story even though I wish for more drama because it was a little slow paced book for me. I would recommend this book to one who wants to start reading a love story. It a simple and a sweet story.
