During the school ski trip, Ran realizes that Nanami, Akira’s classmate from junior high, has feelings for Akira. Overwhelmed with anxiety, Ran remembers a classmate saying “The mountaintop flower won’t give up her lips so easily,” and, without thinking, tries to kiss Akira … ?! On top of that, Nanami says that she’s going to confess her love to Akira?! Don’t miss Volume 6 of the pure love story between the top-tier girl and the flower shop boy!
Hi, can I date a cute guy who works in a flower shop too? Thank youu!
I’m getting tired of mangaka suddenly adding a random girl who is in love with the ML as well. It’s overdone and except for making the story “progress” in some way. Usually the main character finally realizes that she’s been in love with the guy all this time, but she needed another girl to butt in to understand this. It adds nothing else whatsoever. I’m sure it can be done another way. The good point is, it didn’t last long in that manga.
I felt like this volume focuses a lot more on the character’s growth of Ran compared to the previous ones. She does feel more human and a little bit less perfect and robotic (kind of).
And a round of applause for Tomo. Girl, we are lucky that you are a great friend and that you are there to shake Ran up and make her realizes that she cares about Akira and that she needs to be more active. YOU GO GIRL!
I am late to the party with this series, but OH MY LORD I HOPE WE GET PHYSICAL PRINTS OF THIS ONE!!! Ran and Akira have such a pure relationship. Having it all center around flowers and their meaning just truly makes my heart swoon so much! This series has more dynamics than this pure relationship, but I truly enjoy it so much. I have a hard time forming my thoughts. Once I get them more sorted out, I will update this review.
Oh wow for a second I almost hated Nanami for telling Ran that she still wanted to confess to Akira and thought of stealing him away. Things definitely got awkward after that but I'm glad Tomo-chan got in between Ran and Nanami so they all end up being good friends again. I think Nanami still is a good person, and she'd be a nice addition to their group.
Ran and Akira's relationship continued to blossom and I'm seriously dying because of their cuteness (Dear lord I want a man who works in a flower shop to fall in love with me too ㅠㅅㅠ). AND THEY FINALLY KISSED AAAAAHHH SO SWEET ♡♡♡♡
But the ending though :') they're gonna be in separate classes soon huh? I can't wait to know their reactions in the next volume!
I get that this is manga or whatever but I never understood how people can just confess their feelings when someone have their significant other. Seriously, you snooze you lose. Why are you confessing to someone else's boyfriend even just for the sake of getting rid of it? Nanami keeps saying she likes Ran. Ran's such a nice person. Do you do that to somebody you claim you like? If some bitch ever told my boyfriend that they were in love with him, she better hope I never find out, especially somebody I might consider a friend. That is one of the worst betrayals somebody can ever pull on me. You don't mess with my family, my money, or my man. I'm sorry. You just don't. That’s so selfish and rude.
Nanami also tried to make it seem as if she's the victim here, just because she missed her shot at someone else's boyfriend. She basically did try to steal him with the thought that he might be just a little bit romantically interested in her even though he has a girlfriend who he’s not afraid of admitting that he loves. That’s kinda childish if you ask me. Girl, HE doesn't like you. If he has a girlfriend, then it's obvious that they've already got themselves reserve. She's just causing unnecessary drama and FOR WHAT? The best way is just to try to move on by yourself really, don’t drag or mess up their relationship for your own needs.
Anyway boys who express their emotion in mangas, are way better then the boys who get shy and all aggressive. I'm glad they make up with each other but I can't help but to be angry with him cause he told ran to be mindful around boys but he himself was too careless with Nanami (I mean it even made her have the guts to confess to him). It’s painful to see ran being doubtful and insecure about herself. All he did was laugh and giggle at the end. I don’t care Akira need to get jealous too.
Finally the long awaited kiss! I’m happy they're already dating, but I miss their pre-dating days when they were talking about flowers, when they were so shy, those were such relaxing chapters and I love it. After they're dating and see the end of the chapter, I’m just "god what's next".
Guess what arrived early in my Kindle app? *grin grin* Valentine’s Day comes around in this volume, and happenings occur. The innocence of Ran and Akira really reminds me of Sawako and Kazehaya from Kimi ni Todoke. But they are really cute without the comparison as well. I’m hoping for more and more to love and experience through this adorable couple!
Cette histoire me transporte à chaque fois !
En bref, c’est un tome dans lequel il se passe beaucoup de choses et surtout où on aperçoit une nouvelle facette de Ran, ce qui la rend d’autant plus craquante ! Un manga qui fait fondre mon cœur !
Ahhh so much beauty and sweetness in this volume. In volume 5 Ran was a hot mess. My goodness she was losing her cool totally worried Akira’s old chum Nanami was going to sway his feelings. But Akira is a rather steadfast young man despite his flashy appearance and easy going personality. But I’m glad these two love birds finally get on the same page and continue to be lovey dovey. Also really grateful that the mangaka didn’t make Nanami into a bitter rival. This didn’t get drawn out, but resolved pretty quickly. This volume went back to being cute and sweet. Can’t wait for volume 7!!!
Now, this has been the best volume so far! I love the fact that this manga deals with a super wholesome relationship while not becoming something infuriatingly dumb when there’s some misunderstanding or “new” feeling for them. Ran is not a weak protagonist and both of them are actually good at communicating things to each other; no misunderstandings or jealousy dragged on for much longer than it realistically would and they dealt with everything earnestly. I hope this high keeps up 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
This series has become almost aggressively generic at this point. I’m pretty much reading it because the art’s good and the writing is fine, if predictable. It has about as much weight and depth as a pinpoint though.
Not a fan of this "rival" storyline with Nanami. This is turning into a poor-man's Kimi ni Todoke. The characters are all several degrees more emotionally immature.
Much improved since last volume! So sweet again. I just love them together. They are so honest, kind, and thoughtful about each other and their friends! I just love the art too.
