And then the real truths emerge!.
In Giving Gifts by Chrissy Munder, Seth Morrison’s crush on Oscar changes him from an absentminded computer geek to a dancing machine, in time for the works holiday party. If only Arnost Sarac, the company CEO’s assistant, would quit dogging his steps and insisting the old Seth was perfectly fine. And exactly who will join Seth under the mistletoe with the gift that keeps on giving?
In Adding to the Collection by B. A. Tortuga, homebody and bullriding fan Derrick loves going to the finals in Vegas, especially when he gets to see his favorite rider, Stone. This year he gets way more up close and personal with Stone than he ever expects. After Vegas, though, and with Christmas on his mind, will Derrick panic and send Stone away, or will he add the rodeo cowboy to his collection?

I think this anthology is better off if I do not rate it.

THE CLUMSY SANTA By Sue Brown
Not only the Santa is unbelievably clumsy (I actually expected to find out that he is usually in a wheelchair and only walks as Santa so he does not disappoint the children), but also the writing is so simple it could come straight out of a second grader's essay. I did not make it quite to the end.

GIVING GIFTS By Chrissy Munder
*huh* that one was creepy when eastern European CEO assistant comes on to lowly computer tech Seth. The setup was actually pretty good, but the scene on the roof - holy blowjob, that was bad.

I passed on the two other short stories, there is only so much I can suffer through ;-)

The four stories in this festive Holiday collection each have their own charm, all four are written with a sense of humor, and every one of them is likely to make you smile, if for different reasons.

The Clumsy Santa by Sue Brown
"Santa’s Rule No. 5: One is not playing an elf. One is Elf."

“Clumsy” is not a trait I would normally expect to be associated with Santa – it is usually the elves who struggle a little. So it was a refreshing change to read a story where Santa is the one with issues, even though, in this case, he is a department store Santa who is a man named Nick in real life. Not that Head-Elf (a terror in charge of all the happenings at the store) would be happy to hear that Santa is not real. As far as this guy is concerned, Santa is real and he has the Five Rules to prove it! Then imagine Charlie, a shy student in desperate need of work, in the middle of his huge crush on Santa and having to obey all the rules if he wants to keep his much-needed job, and you’ve got the makings for a very entertaining story.

Charlie has never had any friends, so when he finds one of his coworkers, a charming woman named Katie, support him, he is as surprised as he is happy. It makes work just a little more bearable, even if it doesn’t solve his dilemma around what to do about his feelings for a man he has only ever seen in costume. Charlie is adorable as he tries to figure out how to get closer to his “Santa”, and I loved following his efforts as they work their way through the Christmas season.

If you like sweet Holiday stories sprinkled with a little humor, if two shy men trying to figure out how to get closer are your thing, and if you’re looking for a lovely romance among all the tinsel and fake snow, then you will probably like this novella.

The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London
Describing the mood of this story isn’t difficult: hilarious, adorable, and super cute come to mind. But this is way more than a “fluffy” Christmas story, it’s a tale about two opposite characters discovering, under duress in the storeroom they lock themselves into, that they are actually a lot more compatible than either of them would have thought before their epic encounter.

Well, to tell the truth, Frankie has been admiring the stern and commanding Bill from afar for about the year he has been working at Mason’s Emporium, but Bill is the store founder’s son, Frankie’s manager, and has never thought of Frankie in any way other than as a somewhat strange but surprisingly competent employee. As it turns out, being locked in the storeroom together has consequences of a romantic nature for both men…

If you like Christmas stories that make you laugh, if you enjoy opposites attracting to the point of very heated passion blooming right in front of your eyes, and if you’re looking for an entertaining read with funny observations, snarky comments, and a very unlikely yet delightful romance, then you’ve got to give this one a try. It think it’s simply brilliant!

Giving Gifts by Chrissy Munder
Misplaced romantic interest is the topic of this short story, and because Seth is so adorably desperate to please a colleague, he gets himself into all kinds of trouble. I felt for him from the start, but my sympathy only increased as the details of his predicament unfolded. Luckily this is a Christmas-themed story that held hopes for a happy ending, or else I might have been tempted to give up and missed a wonderful ending.

Seth is not a social person, but he is trying his best to be less of a loner. The reason is not a desire for personal change – no, it is his crush on a coworker who has certain “standards” Seth feel compelled to follow. Yes, he tells himself that he likes the changes he has made, but it’s pretty clear the motivation is not internal. And that, as it is once more prove in this story, can be a dangerous thing.

If you like Holiday-themed stories that pack an emotional punch, if men who learn from their mistakes are your thing, and if you’re looking for an office romance with some intrigue and a surprising ending, then you will probably like this short story.

Adding to the Collection by BA Tortuga
The men - ranchers and cowboys and bull riders alike – of the rodeo world own a special place in my heart. To see two of them attracted to each other, only to have them slowly figure out there may be more would be fun enough, but to have it happen over Christmas, a pretty magical time of the year if there ever was one, is a special treat. Add all of BA Tortuga’s cowboy lingo and lots of man-on-man loving, and ‘Adding to the Collection’ is a highly entertaining novella.

Derrick has been admiring Stone for a while – watching him ride is no hardship. Approaching him after an event takes a little more courage, but Derrick finds out that taking that step is well worth it. The two of them burn up the sheets, so to speak. Their first encounter(s) in Las Vegas are scorching, and it becomes clear neither of them will get fed up with the other anytime soon. Also, there is Christmas to consider…

Stone comes from a big family and has never had anyone’s single-minded attention over the holidays. Then there is a major fall off a bull, and the fact he has nowhere else to go. Derrick did sort of invite him over, so he decides to take the risk. Best decision he ever made!

If you like your cowboys hot and ready for action, if two lonely men who stick together for the festive season are your thing, and if you’re looking for a read that is funny, scorching hot, and very sweet, then you will probably like this novella.

Bill, from Clare London's short story, has this query at a certain point: " 𝐼 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢! 𝑊𝒉𝑜 𝑔𝑖𝑔𝑔𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑦𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑠𝑖𝑥?"

Well,Bill, I do. Because reading this collection made me giggle, snicker and even laugh out loud. Each and every one of the stories is cute, funny, sweet and heart-warming.

At times, the characters find themselves in some of the most absurd and comical situations, and other times, saddening ones. But,at all times, thanks to those situations, they encounter that very special someone that make them happy and bring love into their lives.

And 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 is all about that: finding love. The four stories will take you in different places and varying circumstances, and you'll meet the sweetest and most endearing characters. They will fill your hearts with warmth, happiness and the joy of Christmas. I loved all of them and I can't recommend this collection enough.

I don't own the collection (yet) but I've read The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London. It's a funny story, full of Clare London's trademark humour, and it made me giggle. I absolutely adored Frankie, he was a scream. Such a cute Christmas story and worth picking up the collection just for that.

Stocking Stuffers is a MM Collection from authors, Sue Brown, Clare London, Chrissy Munder, and B.A. Tortuga. The following stories are included in this anthology:
The Clumsy Santa by Sue Brown, the last thing Charlie Johnson expects when he takes a holiday job as an elf in Santa’s Grotto is falling in love with Santa. Nick is the shyest and clumsiest man Charlie has ever met, but that’s just part of his charm. Charlie falls for Santa, whilst Santa falls head over heels onto the floor. The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London, Frankie Faraday is trapped in the Seasonal Gifts storeroom overnight with Bill Mason, Frankie’s boss, and the object of Frankie’s long-suffering crush. Bill is steady and sober; Frankie is frivolous and flaky. Or so they seem to each other, until there’s nothing but candy and peppermint schnapps to sustain them in the dark. I am going to pick my favorite for this review. They each have their own unique flavor. I loved that each author has a style I loved.
My favorite for me was The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London. Being trapped in a storeroom has never been this much fun before. I loved how Frankie and Bill are so opposites in things but deep down the passion they have for each other can really set the storeroom on fire. Also, the humor in this story I couldn’t stop laughing in places. When you want a blend of hot romance and quirky humor this is the story for you.
As I said all the stories have their own unique style and humor to them. I picked one cause they are shorts, and can be released later on their own by the authors above. I think you should get this anthology it has enough Christmas fun to make you smile and hot romance to keep you turning the pages and wanting more.

The Clumsy Santa by Sue Brown
Really super cute short story. All the characters really added to it. Head-Elf (capitals intended) made me laugh with his grinch attitude. Nick comes across as a sweetheart and Charlie is a bit awkward and unsure of himself, but I liked that he wanted to take care of Nick. Katie made me smile with her dropped hints and stage whispers to get these two together.

The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London
I love Clare's writing and this one is terrific. Frankie has molded himself into the person people expect him to be and so has Bill. Both help the other to find the strength to reach for who they want to be. There are some funny moments and some sweet ones.

Giving Gifts by Chrissy Munder
Seth starts out with such high hopes for his work holiday party. Poor guy has a moment of revelation. Arnost has been waiting patiently for Seth to notice him and is ready to take action. I liked, that even when Seth is upset, Arnost sees what is really going on and gives him what he needs.

Adding to the Collection by B.A. Tortuga
Derrick meets and clicks with Stone, his bull riding crush. These two set the sheets on fire and when Stone shows up at Derrick's ranch I cheered. I was wishing that Derrick would hurry up and get over his fears, but the way that Stone kept giving and giving made him a true hero to me. Loved the gifts they exchanged.

This is a sweet, fun and entertaining collection of Christmas stories by some wonderful authors.

The Clumsy Santa by Sue Brown
Charlie and Nick are super cute together and I like this sweet and hilarious story. They are perfect for each other and exactly what the other needs. Katie is a sweetheart and I even like the grumpy Head-Elf and his ridiculous rules.

The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London
This is a sweet and fun story with great characters. I like how Frankie and Bill get to know each other when they are trapped together at work. Frankie is a sweetheart and Bill is a wonderful guy trying to do what his father expects him to. They are cute together and I love the ending.

Giving Gifts by Chrissy Munder
A great story with sweet characters and an interesting storyline. Seth and Arnost are exactly what the other needs.

Adding to the Collection by B. A. Tortuga
A super hot and sexy story with amazing characters. Derrick and Stone have a strong connection and smoking hot chemistry. I love how sweet Stone is and how he will do anything to help Derrick when he needs him. Derrick has some tough decisions to make if he wants to keep Stone on his ranch. The ending is perfect and I wish that this story was longer as I loved it.

1 good, 1 bad, 2 meh.

First, my review of the anthology: more explicit and less holiday romance than I expected.

Second, the best of the lot: Sue Brown's Clumsy Santa was a 5 star read. It's the only story that met my expectations with seasonal themes, a good, complete story and a sweet romance.

Third, the worst of the lot: Chrissy Munder's Giving Gifts. It seemed ok for the first page or two then the author just kept piling on bad story ideas and decided to end their contribution by completely ignoring the plot they started on. Hated it. Absolutely skippable.

Finally, the meh. Clare London's contribution met the brief well enough, but I just don't find the idea of alcohol burps sexy for a first time. Should have just had some cutesy making out then gone further when Frankie was unquestionably sober. For BA Tortuga the story was ok, but didn't belong in this. Christmas is there in the end but it could have been any holiday or a birthday. The season had nothing to do with the story. I am one of those people that hate Hallmark and drag sickly sweet holiday romance happily ever afters, but if I sit down to read a collection of holiday romances then I expect to read both holiday and romance.

I loved each of the stories by these amazing authors. They remind you of what the season is really all about... finding the special someone who is meant to be yours.

Clare London: The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament

I've never had schnapps before but I may have to try it! Especially if it gives you the courage you need to open your heart and let your secrets out.

Sue Brown: The Clumsy Santa

Just enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, and laughing and loving each character...even the grumpiest of elves.

Chrissy Munder: Giving Gifts

Even computer nerds need to come out from behind their computer monitors during the Christmas season. And stairwells are great places to learn secrets. Some more special than others!

BA Tortuga: Adding to the Collection

Love with a western twist. Alone and isolated, a rodeo fan becomes the recipient of the most special gift of all...and it isn't a horse or a saddle...but a buckle is involved!

The Clumsy Santa by Sue Brown
Sweet, cute and with a little of mischief to spice the story, this is truly lovely and made me laugh.

The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament by Clare London
Oh, I like this take on a locked room! One in which there is no crime but in which, nevertheless, discoveries are made :P As always. Clare London delivers a delightful story

Giving Gifts by Chrissy Munder
This is a new author for me, and I really liked her style. The characters are very likeable and I'd have liked to see a bit more of them

Adding to the Collection by B.A. Tortuga
Oh, this was a bit angsty, but also hot, hot, hot. And with such sweet characters! I found myself cheering for their happy ending.

A wonderful way to get into the Holiday's spirit ♥

4 great Christmas stories. My favorite is the one from Sue Brown, The Clumsy Santa. Nick is the shyest and clumsiest man Charlie, the Elf has ever met, but that’s just part of his charm. Charlie falls for Santa, whilst Santa falls head over heels onto the floor.
But all the stories were so funny and sweet

I received an ARC from the author (thank you) in return for an honest review.

Really nice read

I enjoyed this collection of stories, especially B.A. Tortuga's. The bull rider and cowboy story was sweet, a little angsty and also so hot! Sure Brown's Santa story was a hoot and made me laugh and love it.

I enjoyed the first two stories, The Clumsy Santa and The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament. I’m not a big fan of cowboys calling each other “honey” so I passed on Giving Gifts. I enjoyed the holiday themes in the book.
