THE MISFITS - THE COMPLETE 5 PART SERIES (Erotic gay fiction. Not for the easily offended. Strong BDSM)
Part in 1 - The Chance Meeting. Max is a wealthy businessman who is in Chicago looking for some action. Business by day, but lover of leather by night. He takes on a chance encounter by connecting with a younger guy in a bar for some fun. They turn their attentions on another lad who is easy pickings but also willing for some aggressive action.
Part 2 - Pain and Ecstasy. After their initial meeting, Max, Cole and Bobby structure a plan to explore their BDSM desires further with a new willing sub. The leather scene is set and the sub is primed.
Part 3 - Opportunity Knocks. Max sees more potential in his new found acquaintances. Would the lads cut it and meet Max's strict requirements, or would they fail?
Part 4 - Passport to Leather Central. Bobby and Cole start making new friends 'with benefits'. Max's business is going from strength to strength, until he gets a distressed call from his husband in London, just before Christmas. The team need to decide what can be done to resolve the problem. Max chooses who to take abroad and plans some leather fun along the way. Long distance travel can be tedious without some action and Max always gets what he wants.
Part 5 Tragödie in der Stadt. In the final part of the story, we find the team dealing with a tragedy. The situation takes them to the hedonistic city of Berlin with lots of new encounters to be enjoyed along the way.
Nick Christie is a British novelist who loves to explore his interest and passions in his books. Reasonably new to writing, Nick started as a hobby, and very quickly began to enjoy the creativity and exploring the relationships with his characters. Many of the first stories cover his love of leather and how it is used and enjoyed in gay life. The stories have strong sex scenes, but are balanced with story telling.
Nick lives in central England with his husband and two cats. Having travelled the world through his previous jobs in Marketing, Nick likes to bring different locations to his books to increase their interest.
4 and 1/2 really good stars. I love that this was a great story with super hot sex. I don’t think I would enjoy being punched in the stomach by my partner, but some of these guys seemed to enjoy it so who am I to judge.
I like the way Nick Christie writes. His style is simple and straightforward. I liked knowing what each character was thinking without a lot of inner monologue. I’m always excited to find a new author I like.
The Misfits is a gay erotic fiction series that is focusing on BDSM and leather. The series consists of five parts. This is the complete edition which includes all the five parts. This review is an overall review of the whole series and not the individual volumes. The story is about Max Steadman, who is a very wealthy businessman who works hard by day for his business and works even harder by night on other things in leather! Max meets Bobby and Cole and the three of them create an explosive trio. Bobby and Cole have a past history though as Cole used to be Bobby’s bully at school and the kind of bond the two will have at present changes everything between them. Max teaches the two younger guys all about the gay BDSM and leather world. He takes them under his wing making them part of his working force. At some point, Max’s husband Peter gets in the picture and will have the hots for Bobby. The life of these men get connected and get affected by each other in a positive way.
The book is quite fantastic. Readers who love themes of leather and BDSM will enjoy this book immensely. The author did a great job with the character development. As the story progresses the reader will get to know these characters from different angles. They are multilayered and have their strengths and vulnerabilities which makes you connect to them really fast.
When you choose to read this kind of erotic fiction, you expect the sex scenes to be explicit and explosive. I’m happy to say that this book delivers it all. The steamy scenes are hot as I expected them to be. I was not disappointed. Some of them were just pure lust and others had some loving moments depending on the characters engaged in them. Not just the narration of the scenes but also the dialogue between the characters is dirty and edgy if that is your thing. The sex scenes come in different varieties depending on the situation. I think all erotica fans will find something they love here.
Nick Christie has an interesting writing style. He has the ability to hook you up to the story with these characters. This is not the kind of plot that has twists and turns, yet it is the kind that makes you continue reading nonstop. It was hard for me to put down. Now I’m very intrigued to check the author’s other work.
The Complete 5-Part Book Series. ( Erotic gay fiction ) There are five parts to this book beginning with Max Steadman who is an affluent businessman who works extremely hard during the day but at night he plays hard really hard!
His kink is leather the feel and the smell.
Bobby and Cole arrive on the scene with Max being their mentor showing them the kinky life that he thrives on.
Peter who is Max’s husband joins in then all the fun starts.
How these four grow together and separately is a wonderful journey. I recommend this book for all LGBTQ+ and those interested in the kink.
Embrace the individuality of everyone.
Again, the easy flow of Nick’s writing makes the story move steadily, bringing the characters into reality. I devoured every written word, great character development. Great work Nick…..
What a journey I’ve just been on in this story! It revolves around leather and rough sex but that’s not all there is. I was totally immersed from the start in the characters and their growth in themselves and their everyday lives. Nick writes in a way that you don’t realise you are reading a story, rather that you are there with them and experiencing their highs and lows and yes…falling in love. I highly recommend this book and gave it a worthy 5⭐️
The book was exciting to read. The character development was perfect. environments and character feelings were explained perfectly. Intimate scenes and BDSM scenes were hot and sexy. The end of the story was exciting and it was the perfect ending for this story.
And I would recommend this book for all LGBTQ+ and kink Community.
Good story line and well developed characters - in every sense, I guess!
Not sure where the characters get their stamina from?! No obvious chemical assists, despite all the pig sex. The dialogue doesn’t always do justice to Christie’s imagination but the cover does.
I really enjoyed this book! The characters developed and grew from introduction till end, and even though I at first didn’t relate to them, I surely did relate by the time i was 1/3 in. The story and plot is exciting and you enjoy beginning on a new chapter, ‘cause “what will happen next?”
This is an M/M BDSM erotica by a leather loving Author, and he wrote a VERY sexy book. It started a bit rough in part 1, but was even hotter in each consecutive part. Such a great story if you enjoy this genre 😊
The journey all these men took was exciting. Characters are relatable. The wonderful world of leather opening up for me through this is exhilirating. Thank you Nick
Max and Peter, Cole and Bobby. A wonderful, sexy peek into the Leather culture. A good story arc brings these 5 parts together in one cohesive erotic romance. Nick Christie is the Master of the leather sex scene. I had to stop reading more than once to cool down. I definitely want to read everything this author writes. Numerous secondary characters with their own stories to be told. If you like hot, raw, rough sex then this story is for you, but it also balanced with the gentle, lovemaking of men in committed relationships. Bravo, Mr. Christie, Bravo!
What an incredible first book from Nick Christie. The series of 5 parts works well as one full length sexy leather novel. The action is brutal in places and tender in others.
I loved the main characters as well as some of the minor ones. A roller coaster of adventures that these boys get involved in, and the bonus of nearly much of the action happening in leather was a real treat. Quite often I felt I was their involved in the action.
I read this a while back and forgot to review. I have read all of Nick's books and they never disappoint. Bring on the next book please.
