“Potential is everywhere. You can’t really see it, but you can feel it. And all you really need to do is reach out, grab that potential in your hand, and bend it to your will. Nothing goes wrong if you just use your potential. I know it sounds easy. I can’t really tell you how to do it. But when you do, you’ll just know.”

The Trinity Continuum Corebook is a standalone game for the Trinity Continuum, and is meant for use with Æon, Aberrant, and Adventure! Inside, you will find:
* Rules for creating characters within the Trinity Continuum * Rules for Action Adventure, Intrigue, and Procedural play * Advice for running genre games and styles of play in the Trinity Continuum * Information on playing Talents in the modern era
As someone who played a lot of WoD in Highschool and Collage, and finds a pool of d10's a comforting and familiar mechanic, I really dig the Story path system. A nice blend of their pool system with a lot of good modern design sensibilities.
Also, I like where they are going with the underlying lore for the Trinity universe.
So 3 stars is probably too low for this book. The problem is that it’s basically just the core rules for all the Trinity Continuum settings. From a basic systems perspective, this is easily 4 stars. However, the book also talks about being used by itself as kind of a semi-generic action movie/TV show campaign setting. It doesn’t really accomplish the latter goal as there just isn’t a lot of setting here. In the end, as an independent game without supplementary material, it’s 3 stars.
