This debut collection has short erotic stories that range from sweet to intense as the protagonists yield to fierce, dominant women who in turn help them explore their boundaries of vulnerability and submission.
My favourites were Exposure Therapy and The Class. Though two very different stories in their own right, both offered a deeper psychological reveal of this world from the submissive and dominant perspectives respectively, which, for someone like me who is not so well-versed with these fetishes, was hot and insightful in equal measures.
Note: these stories are pure fantasy fuel. If you're looking for how-to manual for delving into this kind of play in real life, this isn't it. There isn't much talk of safewords and limits, and sometimes consent may seem reluctant for the sake of the fantasy scene. Instead, the relationship between the protagonist and their domme is often long since established and they know how to read each other’s needs without having to include a backstory.
For anyone with a penchant for foot worship, especially when it’s paired with erotic humiliation and willing submissiveness to a harsh, wicked, yet generous mistress, this is the collection for you.

I read a lot of smut. As a kinkster, I’m always on the lookout for stories featuring kink or fetish scenarios. That’s why I jumped at the chance when a friend pointed me in the direction of The Smut Project’s book “Strict: The Collected Femdom Erotica Volume I” by The Smut Project (thesmutproject.com).
The Smut Project, established in 2017, is a partnership of two creators dedicated to centering “erotic expression" through creativity, education, and discourse. In short, they want to hold creative space for kinksters and fetishists. It’s a mission I can get behind.
“Strict: The Collected Femdom Erotica Volume I” is a collection of short stories revolving around the traditional femdom archetype and foot fetishism.
The book is formatted beautifully. I immediately noticed that each story’s title page included a listing of the kinks/fetishes involved in the work, i.e., “Foot Fetish,” “Impact Play,” or “Erotic Humiliation." The foot fetish listing also included the focus of the fetish, like “Foot Fetish (Nylons)” or “Foot Fetish (Socks, Bare Feet).” I also loved the gender pairing symbols at the beginning of each story. It was nice to have an idea of what I was about to read. The majority of pairings are a dominant woman (or women) with a submissive man. There is one story in the collection featuring a group scenario that is all women, both dominant and submissive.
The foot fetishism is described with evocative sensory details. The situations/scenes are pure sexual fantasy. That being said, elements of BDSM/kink/fetish relationships like navigating consent, pre-scene/play discussions, check-ins, and aftercare are either implied, but not explicit, or absent from each piece. My one suggestion to the editors would be considering putting a dubious consent content note on the stories in which magic, a mental health therapeutic environment, or hypnotism were employed as plot devices.
This is a fun collection for folks who are familiar with the BDSM/kink community and are looking for an enjoyable read. And if you have a foot fetish, this is a collection you should absolutely check out.

Kindle. Saw that this and the 2nd volume were free currently, via Twitter, so I grabbed them. Perhaps I should have looked closer, and I see even here it is not explicit, but EVERYONE of these stories is about footdom. Sure there are other erotic foci in some of them but the gist of all is footdom. I do not remotely have any interest in that whether basic foot fetish or footdom. Some of the stories were pretty good but the topic is not erotic to me. I sure hope the 2nd volume branches out.
I read all but the last story. I did start it but fairly quickly said "Screw it, I'm done." But definite props to people putting there stuff out there for free currently during the pandemic!
