Another sweet but very predictable story & again, not much of a plot. I think once you’ve read the 1st book in the series you kinda know what you’re in for with the next books. Nothing much happens to be honest a few scuffles at the most. Everyone accepts their mates undying love and they all live happily ever after. It’s all about virgins declaring their love for each other after a day or two. 😂I love an alpha but THEY’RE ALL VIRGINS.😱 Bear shifter virgin firemen that are apparently hot AF. Their ages mostly range between late twenties to late thirties and have been saving themselves for their true mate. No previous kissing experience etc yet they all seem to find themselves mated to a younger (chunky/thick/curvy) girl that’s going through some sort of hardship/crisis & needs rescuing🙄 AND low and behold… they’re all virgins too!! I shit you not, they’re all Virgins waiting for the right guy to come along & pop their cherry 🍒🤦‍♀️😂 and within minutes of them all popping their cherries they all seem to “magically” become porn stars in the bedroom department 😅😂😂 It does have some decent smut though.😉 why am I continuing on with the books??? Erm, I’m kinda super intrigued for some mad reason… maybe it’s because I’ve been sick this week and just needed an easy read to pass the hour? Or maybe I just needed something nice to read for a change? 😏 again another short, sweet & easy read to pass an hour. I’ll read the next two books just because they’re easy reads and on KU & I’m a sucker for an Alpha, decent smut & a HEA. Did I hate it? No. Did I love it? No. The author clearly has a niche & writes for a certain type of reader & that’s absolutely fine. This series wont appeal to everyone yet I find myself looking for book 4 ☺️

Westin finally gets his story he is one of the i want to find my mate!! And he does at the local diner when he smells Kimberly as he growls at 4 wolf shifters who are sorta flirting with her. But his bear is possessive and protective and all heck breaks loose. Kimberly is confused by what just happened and why is this firefighter claiming her, until she feels the pool to talk to him. And well it doesnt go good when kim freaks out when he bites her.

Westin got alittle excited and possessive and claimed her. Which he never explained why he had to bite her. But that drama doesnt last long since Kim's good friend informs her about mates. Now her and Westin are steaming up the sheets but they have a problem looks like some enemies are coming back from book 1. Dragons vs Bears... oh my.

Ill be honest.. i didnt really enjoy kim.. idk their was something that had me going ehh.. i love westin alot.. i can't wait for the last 2 bears!!

Another safe read by this author, this book was sexy, sweet and easy to read.
It had more suspense and action than the last one, and I liked that. I really enjoyed the main characters. Westin is such a sweetheart, even being possessive and all. And Kimberly is sharper than the other heroines.

I just started the book and I already don't understand Kimberly's character. I thought I would like her, because of her very sarcastic reply to the asshole about coffee and she seemed pretty normal, especially with her reaction to those two shifty looking dudes but then when she hears about Aylwin from her coworker being a criminal, etc and her reaction is the complete opposite of normal. She's excited at the prospect of danger? I don't understand her, really. I mean, wouldn't she then find those two dangerous men attractive and be also excited when the guy grabbed her wrist if this was the case? I don't know, maybe the author didn't flesh out her character enough or didn't know what she wanted Kimberly to be.

It's also surprising that they are just talking about Shifters like it's the weather or asking what someone's plans are for the weekend. Very weird. One would think it was more hush, hush than that. I don't remember her other books being this nonchalant about them ... but I guess anything is possible in a place where bears can beat dragons like they were stomping daisies.

I will say I was pleasantly surprised that he actually bit her before anything else. It's something this author never does. It's always kiss the girl, eat the girl out, fuck the girl, push the bear back until their control snaps (usually the next day) and then they bite them. I was also equally surprised by her reaction but that was short lived. Yeah she ran from him but the next morning she runs to him when he's outside the diner. Can't write an 80 page or so book if it's not 50% (at least) fucking. At this point I'm just skimming over those parts because I'm more into the story than the sex and these short books/novellas just have too much of that and not enough plot/story.

I also got to say that these dragons are friggen pathetic. PATHETIC! The blue one basically drowns because Westin puts the firehouse in his mouth (as if the force of a dragon's mouth couldn't fucken rip the hose to shreds, or that he's not strong enough in his dragon form to shake Westin off in his human form is absurd). The red one got away but I'm sure in one of the two last books he'll die stupidly too.

Kimberly is new in town a twenty two year old from Canada. She works at the local diner as a waitress with a smart mouth.
Weston is a firefighter, grizzley bear shifter.
Debbie is a co worker of Kimberly who is well aware of the shifters in town
Kimberly has never been attracted to men of any sort.
Any time a handsome man comes in to the diner Debbie is always gawking and trying to get Kimberly to act for her.
But we have two characters that bring you back to the first book in the series with Chloe and Ethan, they are dragon shifters looking for their missing brother. Chloe's ex boss. You'll need to read that story to follow along there.
Once Weston senses Kimberly his bear takes over, causing him to mark her prematurely and scaring her in to running away.
But Debbie tells her the truth about how mates mark their girls so no other man will look her way.
All made up.
Sexy time in the kitchen tje bedroom and an attempt at the fire station. Only to be interrupted by a fight with two dragons against four wolves, one grizzley bear and his curvy mate. Out of all of that raging testosterone Kimberly is the one that gives them the upper hand.
Then the other firefighters crash through the wall in the firetruck and save everyone from going up in flames.
Another dragon down and one flew through the ceiling.
Kimberly and Weston get their HEA and fifteen years of mated bliss and SIX sons

Wow fantastic

Wow what another brilliant book in this series Westin has been waiting impatiently for his mate to turn up and she does as the new waitress at the diner. Kimberley is new to town and is the waitress at the diner when she first sees Westin he is roughing up 4 men in the next booth declaring that she is his. After the scuffle with the wolves Westin waits for Kimberley in the parking lot until she finishes her shift as they go for a walk and she understands about mates but before he explain about the mark his bear forces it’s self forward and bites her this scares Kimberley off. Kimberley sees Westin the next day he looks awful as he turns to get in his truck she runs out to him and they admit they are a mess without each other. Two dragons have turned up looking for their brother who tried to kill one of Westin fire crews mate. The stand off with dragons comes to a head and first it is Westin as his grizzly bear and the 4 wolves take on one dragon but the other soon turns up what makes it worse is that Kimberley is at the fire station with Westin when all this sets off she doesn’t run away like he wants her too instead tries to help. Kimberley is scared that after just finding Westin she was going to lose him but the other fire truck smashes through the glass windows of the fire station one of the dragons is killed while the flies of wounded no doubt to return again but she has her Westin and Westin has her all each other ever needs.

This newest book in OTT’s ‘Alphas in Heat’ series may very well be my favorite…so far. Kimberly’s snark and sarcasm level toe my personal line of enjoyable, but I did find some of her off the cuff comments were funny. Westin was a great hero and I loved his immediate ott response to another male looking at his mate. Although the plot was primarily relationship driven, there was an action sub plot involving the family of the villain from first book showing up and the repercussions from that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the other members of the fire station to get their stories…and I am hoping that some of the new shifters that showed up in this book will be explored eventually. I particularly enjoyed that there was no age gap (I have nothing against age gaps, but it was starting to seem like it was ALL I was seeing). What I loved loved LOVED was that they were each other's firsts in every aspect. Westin at one point states that when a girl tried to kiss him in the seventh grade, he ran clear across town to get away from her because he knew she wasn't his mate and he didn't want to share anything of a physical nature with anyone but his mate. *swoon*

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Alphas in Heat series. In this book, Westin is a bear shifter and a firefighter. When he goes into the local diner, he gets hit with a scent that makes him realize his fated mate is close by. Kimberly has recently moved to town and noticed the men are all huge and handsome, but she is a virgin and never felt the urge to date anyone before. When Westin claims she is his mate and threatens a group of men that were looking at her, Kimberly thinks he is crazy. Westin waits outside the diner for Kimberly and asks to talk to her and get to know her. Kimberly is attracted to Westin and likes him, but when he bites her, she gets mad and tells him she never wants to see him again. Westin is heartbroken and knows he pushed too fast and wonders if Kimberly will forgive him. There are also a pair of men asking questions about their missing brother that could bring trouble for the town. I really enjoy this series. This was another good book that featured a strong alpha and his instant love for his mate. I love how protective Westin was of Kimberly and how she understood how he felt. I think they were great together and i really enjoyed reading how another bear found his mate. Good one.

WESTIN and KIMBERLY

Westin has always wanted to find his mate! He has been on ‘Team mate’ all his life, and even his bear is driving him crazy, clawing at him to find his mate and claim her!

Kimberly is a sassy, sarcastic woman who has no filter when she talks and she does not suffer fools lightly. She works at the diner and that where Westin meets her.

His bear goes insane when a group of wolves’ ogle Kimberly and they get into a fight right there, which obviously scares her and confuses her.
She goes to the pool to understand what is happening and why the firefighter wants her as his own.
But Westin gets a little crazy and overridden by his bear and claims her by biting her which freaks Kimberly out and she runs away.

But the drama doesn’t last very long when she understand what happened and soon, they are setting fires which cannot be put out (LOL).

Also, the dragon enemies come back, and it ends in a crazy battle at the fire station between the full team and the fire breathing dragons! That’s like super fun to read! Bears and Wolves Vs. Crazy Dragons.

OTT, possessive bear shifter brings the heat in this smutty novella. Westin has always wanted his mate and has been looking for her and only her. When he walks into the town's diner and sees Kimberly he knows immediately she is his mate. He's all in for her and she's all in for him in that I have only eyes for you fated mates way. The conflict is external from their relationship and is action packed at the end! I don't think the conflict is going to be quite over just yet and we'll see more of some villains in the coming books.

If you're looking for PNR smut that has that super growly possessive hero this is it! I really enjoyed this one since I love a good fated mates withe the OTT hero.

In the third book of Olivia’s Alphas in Heat series, sweet Westin finds his mate when he stops in the local town diner for something to eat. He sees Kimberly when she stops at the table next to his and he is overwhelmed with the need to claim his mate.
Kimberly is surprised and intrigued with the pull she has towards Westin. When she finds out he is a bear shifter and her friend explains everything about being mates, Kimberly realizes that her search for her Mr. Right is over.
Danger is still lurking though, as Aylwin’s dragon shifter brothers show up in search of revenge against the bear shifters for their brother’s death. When Kimberly is put in the line of fire (pun intended), Westin will do any and everything to protect her.
Olivia brings the heat, action, and sweet and furry happily ever after with this over the top instalove romance. I loved it and can’t wait for her next story!

Destined to the Alpha is book three in the ‘’Alpha’s in heat’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Destined to the Alpha is Westin’s story who we have met in the previous two books. I have been eager to read Westin’s story for a short while.
Westin is desperate and eager to find his fated mate. When he finds her in the form of a sassy diner waitress, he is determined to make her his.
The chemistry between Westin and Kimberly is clear to see and I loved the build up to them getting together and them as a couple. They made a cute pair.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I enjoyed this book, as well as all the other books from the series. The only reason I didn't give this book or any in the series 5 starts is because the main female characters weren't my favorite. There wasn't anything wrong with them specifically, they were smart and funny. However, with the exception of the last two books, all the female leads were kind of messes. It's not that they were bad they just were young, had menial jobs, or there lives were a struggle or an combination of those, until the men came along. Don't get me wrong I love a good alpha man who wants to take care of a protect his 'mate' but I would have LOVED not just liked this series if the women were more self reliant and weren't in an automatic state of needing saving. If those alphas had to work a little hard to get their women I would have loved that. Not sure why the women in these books need to be so helpless.

One of my favorite things about this series is how different each storyline is. A bunch of times in series the storylines start to blend together but this series they are all great and special in their own way. Each mated pair are completely different with personalities that I love. And this book is no different, I was a little iffy on Kimberly at first but I really grew to love her and her quirky personality. She is actually really funny and I could see a lot of myself in her. Now Westin, where do I start with him...maybe it is that he is the sexy possessive alpha male almost every female dreams of. Yum yum I definitely want to get me some Westin. Bottom line this is another great read by Olivia T Turner. Enjoy

Insta love with this grizzly

I am loving how different and adventurous and unpredictable this series is. With each book there is a new exciting element that the previous book didn’t have. The fight scene in this one was awesome! I loved the epilogue with the family soccer game. So cute! So, finally it is Westin’s turn. His mate is Kimberly and per usual there is instant attraction and insta love. But there is a quick moment when you think “oh no! Will they make it or won’t they?!” It just makes the series that much more exciting because each book is different from the next so you never get bored. It keeps you guessing. Even the intimate scenes are new and exciting. You never feel like they are repetitive. Good read! HEA!!!!

For a dick that’s scribed as huge and outright out of a pornography, “thrusting” such a nuclear weapon into a virgin hole would no doubt tear the vaginal opening. It made me shudder every time I read up to that part. Lol

This is the 3rd book in the Alphas in Heat Series.

Westin, a grizzly bear shifter, is a firefighter. He has been longing to find his mate. When he walks into the diner, he and his bear find her. Her name is Kimberly, she has only been working at the diner for 1 month.

Something inside her pulled her to move to Montana from Canada. Come to find out it was her mate Westin. Their is drama along the way, to their hea though.

I loved these two and also loved seeing the other firefighters from books 1 & 2. Although these books can be read as a standalone, I recommend that you start this series with book 1.

The rest of this series was good, but this was my absolute favorite out of all of them. Not to mention, the funniest book out of all.

I was looking forward to Westin, he was so impatient to find his mate. And Kimberly came in really shook up how I pictured Westin's mate. Kimberly was hilarious! I absolutely loved her personality, her sense of awkwardness, and so many quotes I plan to use in the future, lol!
