There are three things I have to protect: My heart, my scars and my life. Even from my best friend. Some secrets have the power to change lives. Or ruin them. What I didn’t expect was for my best friend to walk away when I needed him most. I made the only decision I could. And I have no regrets–even if Lars Trouble can’t handle that. Now I just have to convince my broken heart it’s better off without him.

I don’t do secrets, I hate deceivers and I’m not in love with my best friend. Or so I thought. As the man in the shadows, the drummer of the Darling Devils, the person I rely on most is my best friend. That is until I discover Naomi is a liar. If walking away from her was hard, learning she isn’t mine to love feels impossible. And just when I think it’s all finally coming back together, fate steps in and proves me wrong. But when you love someone, you do the only thing you can. You fight for your love story to begin.
A friends-to-lovers romance to the beat of the Darling Devils – the legends of music.
This novel contains chapters with difficult scenes that might trigger some readers. Please reach out to me for specific details.
Trouble has been, by far, one of my favourite of Gabrielle G.'s books. I love how Lars is so clueless to his feelings beyond friendship for Naomi and vice versa. I felt a special connection to Naomi, her mannerisms and attitude makes her a woman who's a total boss!!! This is not the typical rock star romance with sex, drugs and rock 'n roll, but one that has humour, sex, banter and two characters that have off the charts chemistry. I highly recommend this book. If you're looking for some TROUBLE, look no further, I know you'll want Lars Trouble of the Darling Devils. Trouble by Gabrielle G. is an EPICally delicious romance that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
Emotional. Angsty. Heartbreaking. Add in some true devotion and the life they love, careers they are devoted to, and the misunderstandings that happen along the way and you have this amazing book entitled Trouble. This book will leave you begging for more of the Darling Devils.
Gabrielle G. has once again hooked me with her magical words. This book is a top 10 read for me for 2020 - hands down everyone needs Trouble. The emotions. The struggles. The secrets. It all culminates into a story of epic love, heartbreak, and then mending all the cracks as the story unfolds.
These characters have come to mean so much to me. I have fallen in love with them and all their struggles. She writes real people with real problems. Totally relatable situations and circumstances. A truly epic romance that has many twists and turns that will keep your guessing what will happen next.
This book brought me to tears, then made me laugh my butt off, then want to throw my kindle. These words were epic and over the top amazing.
Lars Trouble - he is a member of Darling. Rockstars. Gods. Naomi is the best friend. They are so blind to what they really feel that they hurt each other with secrets and lies. Their story is not easy to read and will make you want to scream, but it is worth reading every word to get to the ending.
Seriously - a MUST READ by Gabrielle G. She will blow you away!
Fun part of a series is seeing your favorite previous characters do a cameo. It was so much fun seeing Dex here from Often & Suddenly!!!
After so many years being best friends Naomi eventually realizes she’s in love with Lars but not after several obstacles occur in her life for her to finally see what’s always been in front of her.
Lars from Day 1 knew Naomi was unique and different he always kept a special place for her above all others! Being a rockstar and living the fast life is not easy for Lars he has his band mates, he has their trust and love and above everything their honesty.
Naomi & Lars friendship is tested, then their love is tested. She’s a fallen angel but will Lars be able to rescue her?
Once again Gabrielle gives you a ride! Nothing just can be simple in anyone’s story and this is far from simple! Not your typical rockstar romance full of emotions and that epilogue WOW!
This is absolutely an emotional roller coaster ride with Loopings in between! So not a ‘simple’ roller coaster ride. Nope. The author threw in some loops as well!
Lars Trouble, aka the drummer of the band, is best friends with Naomi. But not only are they best friends, they love each other. But it takes them a while to recognize this. In the meantime, there are secrets. And Lars doesn’t do well with secrets. As in he despises them. So he walks away from Naomi.
Phew, Naomi. Gosh did I feel for this girl. She’s one extraordinary woman. Brave. Strong. I absolutely admire her strength! Lars. I can totally get where he’s coming from. Why he hates lies. I would too being in his shoes. He’s the caretaker of the band, and he not being able to fix a problem for someone he cares about, is throwing him off. And finding out that someone helped his best friend he doesn’t like is not helping the situation at all.
Again, the author is giving us a story which stays with you. Emotional. Heartbreaking. Full of love. Hot AF (seriously my kindle melted in between 😏). And giving little (and by little I mean LITTLE) hints about Art and his story. I can’t wait to read his story!
I kindly received an arc from the author and voluntarily left a review.
Words cannot express how deeply I’ve fallen in love with Lars Trouble.
This book is a hell ride of emotion, jolting you one way and jerking you another the next. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, your heart will shatter, you’ll yell and scream, try to throw your phone, but then quickly pick it back up to find out what the hell happens next.
Gabrielle puts so many emotions into her stories. You pick up the feelings right off the page and swim with them throughout each scene. I love that she’s not afraid to go out of the box and talk about things that are hard to read or bring up things that are prevalent, but never spoken of.
I love the fierce courage that Naomi has throughout this book and how she grows as a character. I love how Lars takes every shit thing that comes his way and pushes on because of his love for his best friend and his band. If all love could be this imperfectly wonderful.
Have I mentioned I’m in love with Lars Trouble? ❤️ This book is why I am so excited to see what she does with Art Sweets story next! Another bravo, love! Beautiful story!
Ugh, I really don’t want to do this. I know this is supposed to be a happy, favorable review for this book but I’d be lying if I said the entire reading experience is pleasant. What prompts me to pick this up and sign up for the blog tour is the beautiful cover (apparently I have a thing for neon lights and silhouette figures) AND the blurb. Not gonna lie, from the way the blurb describes the characters, I know I think broody protagonists, especially bad boys, will be right up my alley. And then I browse through all the reviews on Goodreads and not only do I realize there’s a yelping 4.62/5 stars on average for this book, but it also gets about 50 positive reviews from so many reviewers. Without hesitation, I’m in.
However, my distaste for the story stems from…the very beginning, probably BEFORE the whole thing starts. The terrible “Asian Fetish” reference and stereotype IRK me so much, and so does the problematic demonstration of racism and sexism towards Asian girls. You know, the truth is, when the prologue already leaves a sour taste in your mouth, it’s very unlikely that the rest of the story will sweep you off your feet.
Unfortunately, as much as I wish I could think differently about the main characters, Naomi and Lars–of course, on a more positive, happier note–I simply am unable to do so. They already leave a horrible impression on me with the starters, and I honestly don’t care what happened in their pasts, or what’s going to happen in their future. Obviously, this book is both plot-and-character-driven, but the derogatory vocabulary regarding females as well as the overall foul language (for example, there are lots of sex innuendoes including the f-word, several body parts in a much more vulgar sense, and they’re usually expressed in desperation/anger/lust) really make me lose my appetite for this book. 😦
In general, I see why people like, even love, this book because the friends-turn-lovers trope is unquestionably well-thought-out; I mean, despite the fact that Lars is an ultimate player, he truly puts his best friend, Naomi, first. His friendship with Naomi is literally the only valuable thing in this book, and for someone like him, it’s hard to imagine that he has such a soft spot for a faux-sweet, innocent girl like Naomi. That being said, I think you can still give this book a shot as I seem to be the unpopular opinion here. And for sure, I hope you’ll enjoy Naomi and Lars’s story much more than I do.
Lastly, just because this book isn’t my cup of tea doesn’t mean I won’t read anything by this author in the future. Gabrielle seems like such a lovely person and her other works also receive LOTS of positive feedbacks, so I’ll certainly give her previous books a try. 🙂
***Thanks to InkSlinger PR and the author for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
There are certain books that just knock the wind out of you while holding onto your soul. Trouble is one of those books. I don't even know how to begin with Naomi and Lars. They're both damaged, scared, strong, and amazing characters. You cannot help root for their story, for their love throughout this book. There are so many ups and downs. So many twists and turns. But in the end, you're left with a smile and that inexplicable warm, fussy feeling that only a truly incredible book can deliver. I've loved both books in this series and cannot wait for the the third! A total must read!
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I didn't know what to expect. This book has all the emotion and heartbreak you could take and once you have started to read this book you have no other option but to finish it straight away because you really need to see what happens. I really enjoyed reading this book and it truly pulled on my heart strings.
This is book #2 in this series of Darling Devils #2. BOOK #1 Darling BOOK #2 Trouble
This book and the story line is as the title suggest this is trouble with a capital T and will hold your attention and keeps you guessing right until the end.
Lars and Naomi and they are best friends that are actually in love but they dance around it and life gets in the way. These two people go through so many ups and downs together that you really feel for them and are really rooting for them to work things out, what they go through is really relatable and you can understand.
Naomi is a beautiful, strong woman and she did what she thought was best at the time was right but everything has consequences and hers is now trying to live without her best friend.
Lars is the drummer of the band and it has took something huge for him to realize that he is actually in love with the woman that has always had his heart. Lars hates hates hates lies and secrets and will not tolerate them what so ever.
These characters go through so much together and the issues that they face are raw. The hurt and the love are close together and its hard for them both. This book is has twists and turns that you wont see coming and this book will have your emotions all over on a roller coaster ride. You really feel and connect to the characters and everything that they go through, the love, hurt, heartbreak and pain and the secrets and lies that they feel and actually you start rooting for them and their love. You wont be able to put this book down and you will need to keep reading right until the end to see what happens between these two. This book will hold your attention and you will be glad you started reading this book. I'm so glad to have found another fantastic author to read.
Thank you to the author and the publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This book is expected to be released on 12th May 2020.
Secrets can make or break everything. Lars Trouble and his best friend Naomi are straddling the line of friendship and relationship. They understand each other, deep down love each other but never have truly went there with one another. But they are each other’s persons.
Lars is the responsible of the group. But even being the responsible one, he still goes and has fun, lots of fun. The one thing Lars can’t handle is secrets and Naomi has them. Naomi has had quite the rough young life. You see her growing more confident as the story goes on. She wants a happy ever after with Lars but, keeping secrets from him, that is one of the worst things you could do to that man. I get it. I understood why Lars was so upset. I felt for him.
This story will keep you on your toes. There were twist and turns in this story and it was like whoaaaa! Heartbreaking, angsts, happy, sweet, sexy, best friends to lovers story, with a loveable cast of characters. Looking forward to the next Darling bandmates story!
Rocker books are my kryptonite, and Trouble delivers.
Gabrielle took a fresh spin on a rocker relationship and created a story that kept me turning the pages for more. As always, dialogue shines, and the characters are easy to picture as living, breathing people--not just letters on a page.
I especially loved the character development and layering of the backstory here. The strife was deep and cut to the bone, but it added to the story beautifully.
WOW! She did it once again. What a book! I LOVE IT ❤❤❤ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thought Dan Darling is the only one that can make me dream about him in the group of these crazy rockers from Darling Devils. Of course he still do 🙄, I'm in love with Dan and he is my bookboyfriend forever 🤩, but Lars Trouble is definitely swoony worth and undeniably a rock-star-bookboyfriend-material too 🤩 Let's just say I've enough love for both 😂 He was always the one that took care of Dan and Art. He was the voice of reason and communicated with managers and the record labels. He is the man in the shadow, the drummer of the Darling Devils, but also the keeper of all secrets and the fixer of all problems. He cared about and took care of everyone and everything. No, he is neither a saint nor is he a bore. He lives his rock star life with full force and takes what this life has to offer 😈 🔥 But, yes, there's always a but in every story, then he met Naomi. No, not what you think. She just became his best friend 🤷🏻♀️ At first...... 🤭 This story is a crazy rollercoaster of emotions, dramas and heartbreaking secrets that goes much deeper than just a romance. It describes a very important topics of child abuse and how a person's view of life and relationship will never really be normal afterwards. This is a unbelievable beautiful and incredible emotional story about love and loss, but also about finding the one person that gets you and that will always catch you when you fall. I recommend it to everyone who likes rockstar romances with an epic HEA and a lot of rock star hotness! 🔥🔥🔥😈 This book is the second book in the series and should be read after Darling. Trust me you want to read it. It's one of my top ten books 2019.
Lars Trouble is hands down my favourite Darling Devil. He has stolen my heart and Naomi is a bad(beep) that you can’t help but love! This friends to lovers’ journey is rocky but but their hea is worth the emotional rollercoaster that the author puts you through. You will be captivated from the opening pages to the very end! This is not your typical rockstar romance. It is so much more. This is a must read!
Gabrielle G sent us on a rollercoaster ride with Darling and after reading Trouble it's obvious the park has added a new attraction!! The story of Lars and Naomi is not simple, but that's what makes it so beautiful ❤️
Lars and Naomi's are best friends who are oblivious to their feelings for each other. But this book is so much more than that. There are secrets, nightmares and moments of heartbreak. The ups, downs and corkscrews on this rollercoaster will keep your heart racing.
Lars and Naomi's love story is complicated. It's not simple and it's not going to be easy. But rest assured they will have a happy ending. The love between them shines like a beacon and they will always find their way back to each other ❤️
Trouble is a remarkable, heartbreakingly beautiful friends-to-lovers rockstar romance that put me through all of the feels. As soon as I cracked open my kindle, I found myself completely immersed in the story, invested in the characters, and unable to put the book down! To say that I devoured it is an understatement!
This author has the impressive ability to draw the reader in and make you feel like you are experiencing what the characters themselves are experiencing. She takes great care in incorporating interesting subject matter into her books with respect, sensitivity, and awareness. As such, I not only find her characters well developed and real, but I also learn from them. This friends-to-lovers rockstar romance has that perfect amount of drama, angst, steam, and swoon worthy moments that made the book such a joy to read.
Lars Trouble is the infamous drummer for the Darling Devils. He is the man in the shadows and is usually the responsible and reasonable one taking care of his friends / band. I completely adored him. Naomi is a likable heroine with a backstory that pulls at your heartstrings. She is perfectly flawed, but is also brave and strong. Lars and Naomi are best friends, but they are oblivious to what everyone else around them sees - that they are in love with each other. Secrets and misunderstandings threaten the foundation of their relationship and their journey is one that you won’t want to miss.
Their story was such an emotional and entertaining read. I loved Lars and Naomi and I also liked the secondary cast of characters - especially band members Dan and Art. The writing in this novel is impeccable and the story flows well at a great pace. I was sad when it was all over as I love these characters so much. The author has paved the way for bass player Art to have his own book and I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on his story - Sweet. Trouble is book two in this author’s Darling Devils rockstar series. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading Darling to get the full experience.
I read an early, complimentary version of this book.
I hardly come across any books with an Asian woman as the main character and a sassy one at that, so picking up this book has been a gem!
Haven't read the first book, I was a bit confused when I first started the story but the writing didn't make you feel like you missed out on a lot seeming as Trouble can be read as a standalone. We were introduced to the troubled drummer who seems to be the most put together in the band and his best friend, Naomi who is running from the demons of her own.
They formed the most unlikely friendship, but with the things that were happening, it gets harder to deny the underlying chemistry they shared. Will they thrive in the intensity or risk their relationship to go up in flames?
It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions indeed, there was so much drama going on that every page was a page-turner, I was in love with Naomi's tenacity to become her own person and the things she had to endure just made my heart breaks.
Romance, angst, and a whole lot of emotions, highly recommended to the romance junkie out there! Can't wait for the next one!
I had to wait a couple of days after finishing this book to write the review. I was really torn on this one. At first, I loved it! Lars and Naomi and discovering that they have more feelings for each other than just friendship. Then as the book went on I found myself disconnecting from the story. Darling was the opposite for me. It took me a bit to get into it then by the end I loved it! That’s why I’m giving Trouble 3.5 stars instead of 4 stars. I enjoyed Lars and Naomi’s story and what it stood for. Naomi had a horrible childhood at the hands of her father and she was sent away and made a life for herself in Canada. Lars is the one in the group always watching out for everyone and making sure everyone is ok. He let Naomi get to him so he let down his guard. I liked continuing the story of the band and I look forward to Art’s story especially now after what happened at the end of this book.
This is Book 2 in the Darling Devils series and it ticks all of my boxes.
Rockstar Romance. Friends to Lovers. Brilliant backstories filled with angst, heartbreak and even a few laughs.
The Darling Devils are living the epitome of rock-star life. They play hard. They work hard and they fall in love - HARD. Lars Trouble has been playing the game but now reluctantly realises that he has fallen hard for his best friend Naomi Tanaka but Naomi has been keeping secrets and Lars doesn't do secrets.
Naomi has worked hard to keep her past a secret but when her past becomes her now she makes a decision which could potentially ruin any chance of happiness for her.
Lots of twists throughout the book. It was an absolute cracker of a read and I'll definitely be reading Sweet when it comes out.
I kindly received an arc from the author and voluntarily left a review.
Trouble isn't my first read by this author and it won't be the last. her style of writing captivated me. this book made me forget about reality and this damn COVID19. it as heartbreaking yeah it made my heart bleed for both Lars and Naomi. two of them were best friends close and happy but when life happens things change. secrets deception lies the characters are well written. Lars had my heart from the start and Naomi was a Badass. the chemistry between them is off the charts and the sex scenes OMG (I'm going to stay a good girl and not spoil the book for you). it a must-read, the journey again wasn't hearts and flowers but Gabrielle G fixed everything in the end
This is one of Gabrielle G.'s best books to date. I'm a fan of her work but this story is special. Lars and Naomi have a chemistry out of this world. This book is angsty and super emotional. Gabrielle G. is a talented author and her books always get me hooked even more. I love her writing style. She also has an amazing way of developing her characters. You will love this book and this amazing story so much you will crave more of this series. This book is a must read friends!
Just when I thought Dan Darling was the ultimate in rock and roll here comes Lars Trouble. Trouble is the drummer for the Darling Devils and is used to taking care of everyone.
Secrets are the one thing Lars can't handle and guess who has a big one, his best friend Naomi. They met at a concert and connected as friends. When the secrets risk tearing apart their friendship the band steps in.
I loved this story. You never know what someone is hiding behind false smiles. You also never know how big your heart can be until you let people in and give them a chance with your truths. As friends they were great, as enemies they broke my heart and as a couple they made me so happy. Gabrielle G can spin a tale that leaves your emotions all over the floor. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Art!
With two of my favorite themes, that of friends to lovers as well as rockstars in love, it’s no wonder I was drawn to this book! With its sweet and sinfully sexy hero drummer Lars Trouble, along with his up and down relationship with his strong-willed friend Naomi, this is a story that kept me glued to the pages watching this larger than life romance play out. Through each tear, through each smile, and through each punch to the gut I became even more invested in these two finding HEA and after a rollercoaster ride of emotions I’m happy to report that it was all worth it!
Lars isn’t your stereotypical rockstar. Oh sure, he likes to have fun and enjoys some female attention, but when it comes to what he “really” wants it’s all about taking care of his bandmates and the close connection he has to his friend Naomi. He’s a fixer, wants to help those he cares about, and has always had a special place in his heart for Naomi as their connection fulfills him on every level. He’s a man of strong convictions, a man with a big heart who hates lies. His painful past has left its scars and left him unable to abide lies, no matter how big or small. He needs honesty, not superficiality, in his relationships. He and Naomi bond over their difficult pasts early on but unfortunately it’s lies and outside forces that ultimately pulls them apart, putting them and us through the emotional wringer, before they find their way back to each other in an immensely satisfying conclusion.
Naomi’s not your usual heroine, not in looks or attitude, and I found it refreshing and it drew me to her right from the start. She’s got her own painful past of abuse that’s left her closed off, made her hesitant to truly open up. For awhile she and Lars navigate their tenuous connection, wanting more but unable to admit it, and it had me rooting for them all the while knowing their fall was imminent. When the fall came it was heartbreaking and led to lots of angst and up and down moments. Through it all though I could see Naomi becoming more empowered, standing up for herself and finding her worth, and it endeared her to me all the more. The road to HEA was littered with lots of twists and turns, and some hard truths, but love finally won out in a romance that dug deep into this author’s well of emotions.
After the pitch perfect couple found in the previous book in this series, I wasn’t sure the author could craft another captivating pair...but she definitely did. Lars is book boyfriend material wrapped up in a sexy package and I was often drooling over his words and deeds. Naomi’s the kind of heroine you admire, a tough-talking and strong-willed one whose past lefts it’s scars running deep but who ultimately rose above it. Their friendship was definitely put to the test throughout this book, with them both coming out stronger in the end. The issues dealt with were realistically and respectfully depicted and the fallout was believable in this rollercoaster ride of emotions. The sweet and sexy moments between Lars and Naomi were nicely balanced too with a flawless epilogue that wrapped me in it’s warm afterglow. The hints and glimpses given of fellow bandmate Art have me now counting down the days until his story hits bookshelves...and it will tempt you too!
After reading Darling, I was wondering how the heck was Gabrielle going to handle Lars Trouble. I loved Darling, Dan and Anna were adults dealing with adult issues and, after a couple of stumbles, doing it like a boss. I wasn't sure how Trouble would come across or could possibly be better.
I got my socks knocked off. We have adult issues again, but these are the type that are scars carried from childhood that are coloring the present and blocking potential. Lars needs to be needed. He cannot abide with things hidden from him nor lies. It keeps him distant and relationships shallow. Naomi, Japanese by birth, and the product of severe abuse keeps herself distant and relationships superficial.
When Lars and Naomi meet, the bond is immediate, but both make choices that keep their relationship platonic. Through a series of bad decisions on both of their parts, lack of communication, and just plain jerkiness, they nearly destroy their friendship. They achieve detente, and then it's like their world implodes... honestly, if it can go wrong, it does go wrong. When reading Darling, Lars and Naomi went out of their way to stay out of Dan and Anna's issues. I so loved the fact that Dan and Anna chose not to take that path with Lars and Naomi. It was luscious to read.
Trouble handled some tough topics and was hard to read at places. There were times I could see the trainwreck coming and just had to put the book down for a bit. I knew it would eventually work out, but getting there was hard for this couple. But they managed to get beyond all the stuff because they freaking decided to love each other was more important than their pasts, their hurts, and their baggage. They rose above. Darn, that was healthy and wonderful to see. So far, Gabrielle has managed to NAIL IT with Darling and Trouble--I can only imagine what she will do with Sweet. I cannot wait.
Wow this author did it again. What a very intense roller coaster ride of emotional drama that have you feeling like you are right in the story as this draws you in and has you loving this beautiful rock star story.

This book was sweet, with many great moments. The pros about this book we're the characters and it's writing 🙌 This is my first book by Gabrielle G and I think she's a fantastic writer. Her words are really descriptive and the visual she has for the book is clear to read. 😍
The cons for me is the plot and the leading action... It was bit of a let out, I was just expecting more. Regardless, the two main leads had great chemistry, it was fun to read and at one point got emotional too. Naomi and Lars are such a beautiful couple!
I'm glad I got to explore Gabriella G, amazing writing plus lovely side characters. So if you're looking for thing spectacular and cute to read in quarantine, Trouble is your book! 💥💕
Gabrielle G. is one of those authors that gets better and better with each book she writes. I love each and every one of her books.
Gabrielle G hooked me with her words and her characters. I loved Lars and Naomi. These two friends were just amazing to read about. Both just as clueless as the other. Lars and Naomi are such real, heart touching characters. I had such a strong connection to them. Trouble is filled with real life issues, and this made me just love them more. Rockstars aren't above real life problems and issues. When I can understand the issues in a story it just adds so much to it for me. Lars and Naomi walk the line between friendship and relationship. Naomi is hiding things from Lars and he doesn't like it. They are the one thing that Lars can't handle.
Gabrielle G. brings all the emotions. The twist and turns in Trouble had me on the edge of my seat. I got a lot less sleep last night than I should have because I just couldn't put Trouble down. Gabrielle G. delivers a beautiful, heartbreaking friends to lovers story. Lars and Naomi's story is raw, and amazing. 5 stars for Gabrielle G. and Trouble. She continues to just blow me away with each book. I cannot wait to see what she gives us next.
"The love of the Devil is a roaring lion, and I know Lars has already devoured my soul."
The Darling Devils will become a favorite. Three friends who are brothers at heart don't live the easy life rock stars are known for. Each has their own baggage but they don't carry it alone. The other 2 are always there to help pick up the load.
Once again this author takes a difficult topic and brings it to life in a respectful way. We met Lars and Naomi in the first book. Both are characters who are easy to connect with. The two become best friends ignoring the love that is growing right in front of them. Years of bad decisions and mistakes laced with secrets threaten to tear them apart. It was difficult to watch these two self destruct. They took one hit after another. But once they decided to fight for each other, it was an incredible love that knew no boundaries.
This group of characters continue to stand up for each other even when things get complicated. Understanding is desired. Forgiveness is needed. Love is unstoppable.
I can't wait to read Arts book next. Oliver will get his story too I hear. One character I loved was Crawford. I hope to see someone capture the attention of this man. I can only imagine the battle that would be!
Lars Trouble and Naomi Tanaka wowzer. 💞 🥁 Lars is the drummer for Darling Devils and manages almost everything. He's the level headed one always keeping Dan and Art in check. When Naomi comes along she puts him in his place and oddly enough they begin a friendship that can only lead to them facing there true feelings for each other. They may be like best friends but and Naomi has secrets and her past is one full of pain and suffering. When she has to tell Lars one big secret she hoped she wouldn't have to tell anyone they have a fall out.. Lars falls off the tracks and is broken. How can things work out for them and can Naomi stop hiding from her friends and the one she loves..? Trouble is a story that has drama, friendship, romance, secrets, and heartache. Also some mention of abuse and suffering. I enjoyed the characters and story but I hoped for a little more.. overall it was a good read and I can't wait for Sweet to come out.❤
