Kenorian Warriors

Alien Protector's Christmas Captive

Rate this book
ALEXISThe best part about Christmas? Holding this innocent little newborn baby in my arms. He's got the same keen eyes as his father--and the same fangs... The worst part? His father is light-years away in another galaxy. It's just me and the baby now, and come hell or high water I'm going to make this work, even if I have to do it alone. After one crazy night of passion, the alien invader swore he'd return to me. I know our bond was real, that it was more than just a fling. I've dreamed of seeing him again, feeling his strong arms around me. I know my alien protector is out there, waiting to claim me and the baby. But the way it's looking right now, it's going to take a real Christmas Miracle to reunite us...ZAVIt's a male's job to protect his family--and I've failed. I left my fated mate alone on Earth for the nine months she gestated our offspring. She's in trouble now and I swear by the ever-loving Blackness that I'm going to save her. I'll cut down anyone who stands in my way because I'm not going to lose the most precious thing in the my family. I'll do whatever I can to make it up to her, to prove that I'm worthy of her love. I'm going to learn about her curious holiday and give the two of them the best Christmas in the entire galaxy. This novella is 100% standalone. You don't have to have read any of my other books and there is no cliffhanger. Not even a little one. This book contains a lot of baby. Like, a lot. It was written under the influence of Newborn Baby and I apologize for nothing.

This was a quick sweet read with an added sci-if twist for the holiday. The heroine is rescued from a carjacking/assault while the hero is on earth procuring a weapon. He senses his mate and wastes no time claiming her. I wasn’t expecting a hidden baby romance but that’s what we got. The heroine also endures her entire pregnancy alone as after their first night together the hero has to go off to compete his mission. There was a play on the title as it’s actually the hero who becomes captive of his enemies not the heroine. His mission goes awry and it isn’t until the day of their sons birth that the hero is able to return. It was a fun read and I like how the hero became his own sci-fi version of Santa delivering life saving medicine to a planet full of crablike life forms. I liked how the hero tried to bring her customs to her and in turn stole a giant palm tree from earth and decorated it with lights assuming the tree should referred to would be one native to where she lived, in her case it was LA lol. I will say a lot happens in the story but it’s not as relationship focused as I would have assumed especially given the length. Oh and her parents, well they are shitty ppl and while I’m glad it seems they patched things up and are on a road to recovery, I feel bad for their shortsighted lives. Cute read.

Another wonderful read from this author.

Viki storm is always a one-click author for me; she never lets me down with a great story, awesome characters I can cheer for—(and swoon-worthy, possessive, growly alpha heroes I can drool over)—and lots of steamy scenes that are filled with love, connection and emotional depth while also being blistering hot.

And this book was no different. While a smidge shorter than her normal books, it was absolutely perfect for a lazy afternoon and put me in my happy feelzzz.

The heroine, Alexis, is adorable and sweet, on her way to complete her Bachelors at Berkeley when her car breaks down in a really rough area of LA. She draws the attention of two unsavory characters who start to kidnap her when our hero, Zav who has been sent to earth on a retrieval mission, senses something of intense importance a distance away. He follows his instincts, comes across Alexis being kidnapped and zooms to the rescue, filled with rage and an overwhelming sense that this female is his.

They immediately feel the power of being fated mates and express that bond physically, but circumstances and zav’s duty to the mission takes him away from Alexis.

9 months and one little half-alien baby later, and he’s back. Alexis has had to endure her pregnancy alone and afraid and feeling abandoned and judged. What kept him from her for so long? Will Alexis forgive him?

Dive right in and find out, you won’t be disappointed! This author knows how to spin a wonderful warm tale that’s perfect for the holiday, complete with family and Christmas miracles

A different kind of Christmas

Zav rescued Alexis from being gang raped. He recognized her as his forever mate. So, he took her to Mount Baldy and they became mates. Zav had to leave to complete his mission, but promised to return. But he left Alexis with a little gift. So,she was a single mother to be, living on his promise. Unbeknownst to her, he was captured and tortured by some pirate planet. He escaped just in time to keep the doctors from operating on her. He took her and the baby back to his home. So, she recovered from giving birth. But they had to grow into a family, by way of the Christmas spirit. Zav would do anything to make Alexis happy. This is a beautiful touching love story. I highly recommend this book to Everyone!! There isn't much sex in this book, more bonding. I dearly love their Christmas presents to each other! You will have to read the book. I know you will love reading it. It is a short read with a happily ever after!😉

What a perfect alien Christmas story. Alexis is the perfect human forZach. He was there at the perfect time as back up on earth for another warrior when he noticed Alexis in trouble. He not only saved her but realized that this earth female was his bonded mate. Being extremely smart, Alexis ran through it all in her head and decided that yes he was real, and she was going with him. A one night stand, and no contact fromZav after that. He left her alone and pregnant. Nine months later as she is giving birth to her half alien child, she is close to death when he shows up again to save her. This time he takes both her and their son with him. This story follows their relationship, the ups and downs. You really you must read this to see how earth’s Christmas traditions come into the story. So funny as Zav tries to impress Alexis. Love the HEA.

Well that's it, no more Viki Storm books, I've read them all.. This was a cute standalone about Alexis, a student in Los Angeles who is saved by a Kenorian from some thugs. She gets pregnant and once she has the baby her mate, Zav, finds her again and learns about Christmas from Alexis. Alexis' parents seem to be nuts, because they were super over-protective her entire life, then just give up on her when she gets a full scholarship to Berkeley? Then they don't seem to care about her pregnancy or her baby? People are weird. Anyway, most of her books are interconnected series but they're all pretty short, so I preferred those, but this standalone in the same universe is worth reading as well.

This is an alien pregnancy/baby Christmas romance. Alexis was saved by Zav . He senses she is his mate when he sees her with 2 shady men and also those men are up to no good. They completed the bond that same night. Little Divak was the precious result. After being apart for 9 months due to Zav's mission, he came back for her just in time to save her during the delivery of Divak. In the end, they find love together.

Great Holiday Read

I loved thoracic holiday read. It was so sweet with almost no drama. I loved little Divak, and how, after everything, she still tried to have a relationship with her parents.

It was great!

A cute baby, a strong warrior, and a smart heroine. It brings a whole lot of love, baby theme, and maybe alien Santa Claus?
