Lucas Daniels knows that witches and vampires are real.

Lucas has discovered that witch blood flows through his veins and he can perform magic, but it is hardly within his control. And the more he delves into his gifts, the more dangerous they appear.

Not my usual, but desperate times call for desperate measures and it definitely did the job.
I managed to finish not only one book but 6 of them in this series.
Won't be reading the last one because I'm pretty much satisfied with the way book #6 ended.

I sure have enjoyed this series. It’s highly addicting. I was really looking forward to this book. Everything is falling into place. Secrets are revealed, those with ill intent are stepping up their game and Konstantin is getting sicker by the minute.

I will say I felt things were a little rushed in this one. The conflict was kind of anticlimactic to me as well as Konstantin’s illness and how it’s resolved. Apparently there’s another book coming (which I’ll definitely read) but honestly, this could have been the end. I just wish it was a little longer and things played out a little better. But I still enjoyed it and will be looking for the next one in a couple of months.

Before reading...

Another one I'm anxiously waiting for!!!!

Whilst I've mentioned the lack of romance in this series so far, it certainly hasn't detracted from just how brilliant a series it is. The world building and characters are exceptional and I've really loved Lucas and Kon's story. I guessed the whole Nomad thing a while back and loved that for Kon, that he had that all this time without even knowing it.

I'm going on to read the last book even though some reviews have said it's not really necessary because ... I'm greedy for more!

Loved it.

3.5*

I’m definitely in the minority here. Several things have annoyed me but there’s one more book so I’ll save my list for after that one.

This went pretty much as expected and the surprise wasn’t a surprise so...

Thank Konstantin for those 4/5.

Konstantin gets cornered and in order to save himself from Gaia’s curse and Lucas getting hurt, he has to turn him into a vampire, his own fledging.

The story has grown on me and Kostantin is a character I’ve liked from the very first moment we meet him, so seeing him change for the better was a blessing. I like where the story is going though is predictable at a times. I also enjoy the character’s interaction, specially Lizzie with Lucas.

The highlights for me were Lucas using magic, Angelis background story, Lucas and Konstantin hot dance, Nomad/Xavier actually caring for Kontantin, Lizzie being the best side character ever.

Now, you already know that I don’t like this format and for me it would have been better 3 books instead of 7, but welp, what can you do.

Anyway, I’ll be happy to read the final book as soon as I have some spare time.

*Here is my Vampire's Club spoiler-free series review.*

If you're this far into the series, you're probably already hooked and don't need a review. But this one really upped the excitement and drama and action! I can't say much more than that without spoilers. I felt really bad for Konstantin though, being betrayed left and right. But finally things are happening, relationships are being forged and tested, secrets are being revealed... I'm excited to see what will happen in the finale!

Even in today's television shows, one would get a proper send off. Like in Star Treks red shirts. You knew a bit about them. I think that's where it started. Then became more dramatic to understand the musings of a minority or alternative lifestyle. Make them loved, then kill them off as a way to give the protagonist a direction. Then the mentor! That all knowing person you think you can trust.

This one was pretty good!

There's so much going on in this sixth part and I can't wait to real what looks like will certainly be the last part of the series!!

This would have been perfect if not because I think there are some rushed things. I think the problem is with the installment structure this series has, that in one way ends up giving the same importance to parts that should not be as important: in my opinion the climax should have more weigh.

I love the Nomad, he's one of my favorite characters and I hope we see more of him in the seventh part because I haven't have enough of him!!

romantic and action filled

This is some of the best vampire stories in the business. And this is my favorite so far. Sexy, romantic, and filled with action. Do I like it when an author takes one long book and makes it ten books? Absolutely not. But when I can read them through kindle unlimited I won’t complain. I’m just happy I moved from Sweden, that doesn’t have kindle unlimited to Australia that just got it.

Damn!

5 stars

This was the best book of the series. This review really can't be given without spoilers so I'm not even going to try. Just another read and be surprised by the last few chapters! I hate there is only one more book left. So sad!

I can’t believe I am nearly at the end of this series. I still really like this a lot. Some things that happened were pretty obvious but it was still very enjoyable to read. I can’t wait to read the last book.

Book 6

Fast-paced and exciting! Another hard to put down installment! Things are getting dicey as the end of the series is close. I can’t wait for the finale that promises to be epic!

I was very upset when I listened to book one, only to find out I’d have to buy and listen to 7 books to hear a conclusion. 7x$18 for one story. However, the story is very good and they are well written The fact that the narrator was the BEST I ever listened to: Ethan Holtan, I settled in and enjoyed every moment. His ability to create different voices and so many accents was pure pleasure. I’ve listened to many, many bad narrators. So, after finishing Book 5 I was worried that I only had two books left.

Then I started Book 6. A new narrator????? What the actual what???? He can’t even pronounce the Club’s name. And he can’t do the accents. I feel like I’ve lost Konstantine forever. And when he plays Lukas, I hear Woody Allen!!!! Omfg! Is that ever a turn off.

Why would they do that? I committed time and money based on the first narrator. All my excitement over the series is gone. Yeah, Book 6 was good, and I have to listen to one more story to get to the conclusion. Big deal.

Now, to take a story and force readers to buy all the books just to hear one story seems greedy to me. I had to wrestle with my thoughts about spending on a 5 hour audiobook the same amount as I would usually pay for a 10+ hour audiobook. So changing narrators is saying to me that the producer/author only wants the money and doesn’t care about the listener, knowing that after 5 books the listener is hooked.

I won’t read anymore series.

Wow

Ok, so we have finished Book 6 and wow. 😮
It seems forces are making life decisions harder for Lucas and Konstantin. Konstantin wants to show Lucas he keeps his promises. So he decides they will go down to the catacombs where the dance club is. While dancing with Lucas Konstantin has to free himself before he turns Lucas into a vampire by accident. He leaves Angelis in charge of Lucas. Only little does he know that Angelis is trying to get to Rachel for revenge. When Angelis drugs Lucas they take him to Marius as he is put into a car to be taken to Arsene and Rachel. But little do they know that Konstantin is on the move as well. Will Konstantin make it in time? Will Lucas die? What will happen to Marius and Angelis? Will we find out who the Nomad is? And is Gaia truly telling the truth about turning Lucas? So many questions? Book 6 is full of the answers. And the Cliffhanger will make you want to continue reading. 5 stars ⭐️ for keeping me invested. There is a split where the author forgets they have already written a scene and rewrites it. But it works itself out.
*Warning: Yes there is gore, killing, kidnapping, sexual scene between two men
If you don’t like any of things, this book is not for you.

In this second last book of this series things are really amping up towards Lucas needing to be turned. Not only is the threat of the witches mounting and closing in, but it turns out there is internal threat from Konstantin himself. The connection with Gaia is causing continued stress that will lead to Konstantin's death, but before then will likely lead him to kill Lucas. All of these growing threats have Konstantin feeling that he has nowhere to turn as he keeps trying to find a way to save Lucas but cannot tell others the full story in an attempt to protect Lucas from the threat of the Nomad. It is clear that something will have to break as the witches continue to plot to capture Lucas and the vampires continue to plot to ally to witches. As everything comes to a head it is clear that it will being to involve everyone else at Dyavol and not just Lucas and Konstantin.

3.5 ⭐

Another great story, full of excitement and heat. However, there are several plot repeats (in the first several chapters), or where things that have already been said or discovered, are done so again. Having been listening to these books one after another, these were really glaring and took me out of the story every time. But, things got better and this turned out to be really enjoyable. However, as with every series that changes the narrator between books, the new narrator was a shock to the system. In his own right, he's actually a pretty good narrator. However, following a narrator that created these characters' voices and aural personalities over the first five books, it just doesn't sound right.

Buy your beware, these are not books. These are chapters in a book.So if you can get the full set in a single purchase , you'll definitely save money and probably some frustration. I was able to get the first three free as an omnibus , and then after that had to pay for each one individually. So in the end , it was probably the cost of a regular book. Okay, so for the review of the book itself, it wasn't my favorite.I prefer Some of\nThese authors are there works and I think mainly it's because i'm not as big of a fan of vampires , think it's really hard to make vampires likable in any way , because they are not they are monsters. At least in this world , and this author really kind of twists things to try to make them less monstrous , but I don't think she succeeds.

Vampires and witches and magic! Sweet, spicy, bit of drama, bit of angst, a lovely light read. There are 7 small installments to this novel, each ending with a cliffhanger but the story is complete, so you can roll right on to the next one. The pacing is so good on these books, I reached the end of each too quickly and I’m always left wanting more. That’s the sign of a great book.

Each book is easily a 4-5 with the overall series at 5 stars. Character development was great, romance was insta-love done really well, bad guys were well developed, some light twists, too. Overall a super series that I think of fondly even weeks after reading it.

SOOO.... This series
1 - Ends each book in a cliff hanger of sorts one way or the other
2 - Each book of the story gets better and BETTER!
So much so I did one of my ultimate no-nos': I read straight through to the end of book 6 from book #2 without stopping... and adding to my Goodreads List. Bad of me, I know, But, but it was a MUST, I tell ya. A MUST!
Sadly, now I must wait til the next. 7 books are to be in the series. Gah, the pressure.

3 - It is officially going on my 'all time favorites series' shelf

OMG – Note to self: Don’t start reading a continuing book series until ALL of the books are published and ready to go immediately! I know the last book is due out in about 10 days, but it will truly feel like an eternity because I need closure, stat! This has been a gripping series that gets better with each book. This particular installment confirmed a suspicion I’ve had about one of the key secondary characters for a while now, but there’s still more to come on that front. Dang, I’m generally a pretty patient person, but not feeling it now … hurry please!

Audio: 5 stars, even though Ethan Holtan didn't narrate this book Kieran Flitton did a great job in my opinion. While there were obvious voice changes and some pronunciation changes, I still think that Keiran did a great job!

Book: 4-4.5 stars

Ha called it for the Nomad, although it seems pretty easy to guess. Also a lot happens in these books that it is hard to put them down.. in reality I wish it was just one long big book, but hey it gets my book count up soo am I really complaining haha

Now on to the finale!
