Would it be the worst thing in the world to accept an obscene amount of money in exchange for living with a guy and a couple of his best friends for three months? Seems like a no brainer. But what if it means sharing their beds, too? Let’s be honest, Holly would probably do that for free considering how hot, successful, and fun to be around they are. Besides, if she helps Trent cash in on his inheritance—with a few naughty strings attached—she could pay for the life-saving surgery her mother’s insurance company has denied. The one thing she can’t afford is falling in love when the man she’s obsessed with plans to ditch her after their ninety days are over. Four Money is book one of the Ever & Always duet. Holly, Trent, Lorenzo, and Owen’s story will conclude in Four Love.

The heroine:Holly - after she graduated from college, her plans for her future didn’t work out. She was called home to Las Vegas to look after her mom who was sick. It has been a few years, with her mom getting progressively worse. She needs a transplant, which they can’t afford. It is hard enough to stay current on their medical bills and Holly’s student loan payments.
The Hero:Trent, Lorenzo and Owen - Trent grew up wealthy, but his family didn’t approve of his lifestyle so they disowned him and took away his trust fund. He has since invented some high tech solar batteries and wants to patent and produce them, but needs the start up cash. So meanwhile he is a gambler. Lorenzo is a male stripper and Owen is a valet, all of them live together in a house in Las Vegas. They often share women.
The Story: Holly’s college friends Andi and Kari ask her to go out for a weekend while they are in Las Vegas. Both of the girls are in committed polyamorous relationships with three guys each. Andi’s three are high powered, up and coming lawyers and Kari’s three guys are the partners in their law firm. They are in town to have a party and propose to Kari. They get help setting up the party from Trent, Lorenzo and Owen. Trent went to college with some of them, including Holly.
In school, Trent had a bit of a crush on Holly, but was kind of a playboy. He had some predilections that weren’t for everyone, but one night Holly spied on him while he was getting busy with another girl and it turned him on. She thought he was being a jerk, so pretty much wrote him off, though she had been attracted to him, so when she sees him at the party, she tries to stay away. Though they do spend time together and she finds that she likes him.
I like the story, and certainly having two friends that each have three boyfriends has to make the whole polyamorous thing go down easier for Holly, it just seems to be too much of a coincidence that there are three single guys and one single girl at the party, in the main group and two polyamorous couples, and the three guys just happen to also like sharing women. Just a bit too convenient and on the nose for my tastes.
Then, in an even bigger set of coincidences, Trent’s dad dies, leaving him a ton of money, though he has to be married to get the inheritance. It just so happens that Holly is willing to marry him practically on the spot if he pays for he mom’s kidney transplant and anti-rejection meds, plus an in-home nurse. I mean really, how fortunate that she was with him right at that time, huh? And how often does it happen that someone so in need of life saving money, gets an opportunity to make is so easily and painlessly? And they just happen to be in Las Vegas where they can get married right away, by Elvis no less.
Though for the reverse-harem non paranormal genre, this book is pretty good. I liked the storyline about the romance, though Owen and Lorenzo don’t get much time in this book. However, it is a duet and there is a big cliffhanger at the end of this book.
Sometimes a girl just wants a great smutty read with drool-worthy guys and a badass FMC who doesn't need to choose between them. You know, the kind with spark and passion, to tug on all your heartstrings. And sometimes she stumbles upon a read like this one here.
The writing was plain bad, the dialogue felt choppy, the pacing was off, and the POV switches were confusing AF most of the time.
The main characters fell just as flat as the smut, and I swear I lost count of the side cast in the first few chapters. Way too many names and unnecessary details! And don't even get me started on the repetitions. They're more than enough to drive one up the wall. For fuck's sake, please!! I'm neither dumb nor stupid to forget something you've already mentioned thrice just a few pages before!!
But then, this book has a lot of gushing 5 star reviews, so it might be just me.
Just how far will you go to save someone you love? Would you live with someone for a significant payout? How about living with three people—three men who share everything, including the women in the bed?
For Holly, this is just the decision she’s had to make and whoa, she wasn’t quite expecting everything that happened! How did she end up with no only one hot and sexy man, but three? Three of the best men she’s ever known, three men she’s bound and determined not to fall in love with. Not when she’s going to be leaving them in a mere 90 days.
But tell that to her heart—her heart doesn’t want to go along with her brain. Her heart is all in with Trent, Lorenzo, and Owen. And all Holly can do is hope she recovers from the heart break she’s bound to experience in just three short months.
Gah, I really liked the rocky start between Holly and Trent, and Holly, Trent, Lorenzo and Owen. But I truly enjoyed their dynamic—loved how they are just getting started. And so can’t wait to see how a bound and determined Trent is going to make this 90 day deal last for a heck of a lot longer. He’s got some work ahead of him—especially with how Four Money ended. Yikes! Four Love can’t be released soon enough! ~ Missy, 4 stars
I know this was smut but I still thought it was missing something. There were too many characters introduced and not much was fleshed out. For what it was, I guess it worked? I don’t even know…
The reason for the marriage really didn’t make sense to me. And I really dislike it when it’s all about miscommunication. Or not communicating. I also missed growing a connection with the other main characters and I was often confused about the pov.
That being said, I didn’t contemplate to DNF the book. It was an easy read. And I think I would have been better with a hea instead of the cliffhanger for another book.
Star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (2.5 or 3 I still cant decide) Spice rating: 🌶️🌶️
Meh it was okay, the smut was fine, but the third person POV with so many characters being introduced, got really confusing and idk it was just sorta.. bleh, to me writing wise. Im going to be reading the second half of the duet in hope that maybe it brings it up a bit higher for me , i feel like im having issues with some of the dynamics in this why choose and sort of how she seems to have little to no relationship with the other man and it seems more so that they are there for the sake of being there and just because they are his friends and hes hoping she will want to be with them too but they dont give us any sort of real relationship building with her and them to make us love them too . idk . i guess we will see.
I’m writing this after having finished the second one. This is a single book, chopped in half. While each audio was 5 hours long, there was a LOT of repetition and bloat.
This is a spinoff or related to another duet or series - because there’s two other foursomes that are mentioned repeatedly. Part of the bloat is these two other groups. The rest is a lot of awkward & stilted conversations. So.many.misunderstandings.
If you’re grabbing this expecting a lot of steam…don’t. There’s only a single scene with all four in this book. POV is only from two of four.
I did continue, hoping it would get better…
Narration: I enjoyed Ty Dunslow. There are a LOT of characters in this book and he did a great job differentiating them (though the number would be a stretch for any narrator).
Loved the smut, even though it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary or particularly dirty. Guess it’s just one of those who spoke to me.
I understand that it needed to happen the way it did in the beginning, but the whole thing with T’s dad felt noisy and unnecessary to me somehow. I just can’t help it.
All in all it didn’t scratch my itch in the right way, but it was far from the worst I’ve read.
Maybe 2.5🌟. Very, very cheesy. These books usually have a decent cheese factor but this one had extra. I’m torn between whether I want to read the second one to find out what happens after the cliffhanger.
Jayne Rylon has a knack for writing menage stories. She draws you into the characters polyamorous relationships. Four Money is another fabulous story between Holly,Trent, Owen and Lorenzo. They dynamic between them is wonderful add in a little bit of suspense and you have a great story. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Faith's life hasn't gone as planned, struggling to take care of her mother dying of Lupus in a one bedroom apartment while her friends have found success and love.
Tent was disowned by his father after he found out about his polyamorous lifestyle and went from rich frat boy to struggling professional gambler to raise the money he needs for his inventions.
Trent and Holly were neighbors in college but avoided each other after Holly found him having sex against the wall one evening. They met again at a Los Vegas party her friends were throwing and after an awkward start the heat sizzled between them.
Just when it looked like Trent was going to bring Holly home for a night of decadent pleasure, he gets word that his father has had a massive stroke. After his father's death he must act if he wants to get his trust fund money. If he marries he can get his trust fund money to finance his invention and Holly can get the money she needs for her mother's kidney transplant.
Everything happens at warp speed, they meet, they marry, they have steamy sex and find out they are perfect partners. But they put a three month time limit on their marriage and it's messing things up as their feelings grow for each other.
They live with Trent's roommates Owen and Lorenzo whom he's always shared partners with and he hopes to also share Holly.
First, a warning this book ends in a cliff hanger so you'll have to wait for the release of 'Four Love' for the conclusion. This story is fast paced and I often wished for more time to flesh out the details but it's an enjoyable read. Holly is endearing and I liked her from the start as she cared for her mother and then bloomed into her own power helping Trent with his inventions. I loved that these two became great partners and while the ménage was titillating and Owen and Lorenzo were interesting characters, I thought this couple was so strong it was a distraction to their story.
I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review. If you like my reviews I hope you will follow my blog. https://wyldheartreads.wordpress.com/

I got a copy of this book during the Stuff Your Kindle Event. "Four Money" follows Holly and Trent. Holly works hard to try to make ends meet so that her sick mother can one day qualify to receive a kidney transplant. When her best friends drag her to a party to let loose for one night, she is not expecting for this night to completely change her life. Trent likes being in polyamorous relationships, and sharing his woman with his two best friends, Lorenzo and Owen. Unfortunately, his father does not agree with his lifestyle choices, so Trent has been cut off from his family's wealth. Trent is working as hard as he can to get the capital so he can get a patent on his business idea, and Holly might just be the ticket to getting that money. When I picked up this book, I was expecting a super spicy story about Holly, Trent, Lorenzo, and Owen. What I got was a crazy dramatic story filled with death, deceit, and kidnapping, all within 200 pages. I figured there would be a little serious tone to this story since Holly's mom is sick and that is so key to her story arch, but within the first couple chapters, Trent's father unexpectedly dies. I felt like I was getting whiplash from all of the heavy content that happened. Something I really appreciated was that Holly and Trent knew each other from college. Although they were not friends, and in fact Holly really did not like him, them meeting and getting married in one crazy night in Vegas felt a little more plausible since they already had a history together. The ending was completely out of left field. It was definitely a choice and made for an interesting cliffhanger, but I do not think it was necessary. I am kind of curious what ends up happening with Holly and Trent, but I am not dying to pick up the next book anytime soon.
Wasn't really blown away, seems too quick and insta i fuck you, you fuck me too. But i will continue on reading the next book in the series. Hopefully it'll get better #goawaycovid19
Ok. I didn’t see THAT coming...well, that’s not entirely true. I saw part of that coming, but let’s rewind for a bit.
This was a sweet, smexy read that hooked me from the very beginning and had taking a bit of an extended lunch because not finishing it wasn’t an option ~ even though I knew there would be a bit of a cliffy since this is a duet ~ and after that cliffy, I need Four Love ASAP!
Now, as this is a duet, I’m not going to be diving too deep into things, but I gotta say, I really like Holly and Trent. They are both sweet and funny and just all around good people who could use a good dose of lady luck. As for Lorenzo and Owen, I didn’t get to spend much time with them, thus far, but I’m liking both of them and hope to get to know them a whole lot better in the next book.
I really liked how things played out with Holly and Trent and how their arrangement even came about. The reason they collide had me smiling and I just liked the flow they had between them from the start and that extended to Lorenzo and Owen and I can see the beginnings of something good happening between all of them. Now for that big sinkhole that happens ~ I’m not on anyone’s team because, well, I’m not, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how everything works out for these four in the next book!

Wow – what a hot start to Jayne Rylon’s Ever and Always duet – Four Money. This is a book that hooks you in from the first page and I ended up reading it straight through. Holly and Trent are fantastic characters. They are so strong, refreshing, and charming. You will experience a broad spectrum of emotion throughout this book. It goes from witty and light to deep and raw. Four Money deals with real issues that some women and couples will be able to relate to. The addition of Lorenzo and Owen to their relationship definitely ramps the story line up to another level. Jayne Rylon is the Queen of ménage relationships and is a must read author in this genre. Whilst the beginning of the story focuses on Holly and Trent reconnecting years after they finished at the same college and enter into a 90 day marriage so Trent can claim his inheritance and Holly pay for her Mother’s life saving kidney transplant; Lorenzo and Owen ease their way into the relationship as well to enhance it towards the end of the story. This really positions us on the edge of the massive cliffhanger Jayne leaves us with and I can’t wait to see how this plays out in the very eagerly anticipated sequel, Four Love.
Holly and Trent knew each other briefly in college, but now Holly is struggling to take care of her sick mother, and Trent has been disowned by his father, due to his polyamorous lifestyle. They meet again in Vegas at a party with mutual friends. A potential hookup turns into much more when Trent’s father passes away. In order for Trent to claim his rightful inheritance and Holly to get help with her mother, the two strike a marriage bargain.
When they return home, the sparks continue to fly. To make their marriage appear to be a love match, Holly moves into Trent’s apartment that he shares with his roommates/friends, Lorenzo and Owen. The 3 men always planned to share a woman, and they all are attracted to Holly.
Just when it looks like the four of them will enjoy the few months of Trent and Holly’s arranged marriage, a misunderstanding occurs.
This book is part of a duet and does leave on a big cliffhanger, but that will be resolved in Four Love (Ever and Always book 2).
I love Jayne Rylon’s books, and this one was enjoyable, hot, and unexpected. It was great to visit with characters from the 4-Ever and Ever After duets, as well.
Ms. Rylon hit the reader hard and fast with Four Money. What what you do for the right amount of money. Holly is about to her wits end trying to figure a way to pay medical expenses for her mom. Trent is a professional gambler trying to stack the chips to fund the startup for his company. Lorenzo and Owen are Trent’s closest friends, roommates and his poly partners.
Holly is a force for sure, pure willpower and guts with such a caring nature. Trent is smart and funny. I truly enjoyed his personality and passion. We truly only just start to get to know Lorenzo and Owen in Four Money, however their charisma shines through.Opportunity knocked and Trent and Holly answered not know the surprise that was about to become their lives.
Four Money packs a punch from beginning to end. Wow. Well written characters, a super fast paced story and plot that will knock you down. Four Money is a chance on life in more ways than one. Reviewer Warring: This book is a Duet and that is stated before I started reading. Ms. Rylon hits us with quite the cliffhanger that I never saw coming. If you are not a fan of cliffhangers, highly recommend that you wait until Four Love release and read them back to back.
If you have read Jayne Rylon then you know she writes some amazing Ménage stories, if you haven’t read her yet, then this is great way to start! Holly is struggling to take care of her terminally ill mother, so when she had an opportunity to spend a weekend with some college friends her mom convinces her she deserves the time. Of course, these aren’t your ordinary friends, this is a foursome, who also knows another foursome, and the weekend involves a party that is full of fancy clothes, fancy food and some seriously sexy guests. When Holly runs into Trent, another guy from college, let’s just say their relationships is nothing short of “complicated .” As life changing things occur Holly and Trent embark on an arrangement that causes them to cross a line they won’t ever be able to forget. Oh, and let’s not forget about his roommates, Owen and Lorenzo. A new sexy foursome you will love! And yes, this book ends on a cliffhanger (it’s a duet it is to be expected) but we don’t have to wait too long for the conclusion...so get reading before it comes out!
This is the first book in the Ever and Always duet. They do need to be read in order and this book does end on a cliffhanger to be continued in Four Love (soon to be published 4/21/20).
Holly and Trent were neighbors in college. Holly's life became more difficult as her Mom struggled with Lupus and rising health care expenses as she needs a kidney transplant. Trent lived the life of a trust fund frat boy until his family found out about his polyamorous lifestyle. Trent is hard at work trying to fundraise for his inventions when his Dad dies. The condition of his trust money inheritance is that he be married.
Holly and Trent run into each other at a Las Vegas party. They have lots of chemistry and decide a brief marriage of convenience will give Holly the money she needs for her Mom and Trent the money he needs from his trust fund for his inventions. Enter Lorenzo and Owen, Trent's roommates and the men he has shared women with.
Holly and Trent start to have feelings for each other before their three month marriage timer is done. Will their involvement as a foursome be a problem or just sexy times? Surprise cliffhanger will leave you waiting for Four Love's release!

Four Money is the first book in the Ever and Always duet written by author Jayne Rylon. It tells the story of Holly, Trent, Lorenzo, and Owen, and it concludes in Four Love, which is expected to be released in April 2020. So, just know up-front that this story will be ending with a pretty big cliffhanger!
In this story, Holly’s mother needs a kidney transplant, but they don’t have the money to pay for it. Holly’s been living with her mom and trying the best that she can to help out. When her friend Andi stops by, she encourages Holly to go out with her, especially since Holly has been so busy lately. What she wasn’t expecting to see was Trent, her old crush from college. Oh, and his delicious roommates, Lorenzo and Owen. When Trent hears about Holly’s situation, he is quick to come up with a plan that benefits them both.
Four Money was a steamy quick read, and I’m dying to find out what happens next!
Well, Jayne, as always hasn't disappointed with Four Money! I don't even know where to begin except for saying, where's the rest?! (P. S. I know the rest is coming in the second book in the duet, I'm just super impatient, I need to know what happens to Holly, adorable Holly, and Trent, and Owen, and Lorenzo! The emotional journey is real, is gritty, is beautiful, is intense. The different kinds of love, from friendship to family to becoming something more to someone else, well, it is so tangible and wonderful and made my heart swell with feeling! From difficult childhoods to bad relationships to difficulty speaking their mind, each one of these lovely four have their reasons for being hesitant, for perhaps putting their foot in it at times, for wanting reassurance. And I loved every heart wrenching page of it! But then that cliffhanger! I need to know what happens next. I need more! So, bring on book two in this duet! I'm ready! You'll be chomping at the bit for it too, I promise!
While I knew that this was the first book in the Ever and Always duet, I SO did not see that cliffhanger coming. Holly agrees to a night out with her 2 best friends to try and get away from the stress of her life. It has not gone the way she thought it would after college. She runs into Trent her neighbor and crush form college. Both of their lives have changed in major ways due to family issues and they are both doing their best to survive day to day. Trent and Holly reconnect at the party and things are getting very steamy when a major issue with Trent’s family interrupts them. Trent and Holly come to and agreement that will hopefully benefit them both. What they don’t count on is their feeling and Trent’s roommates Owen & Lorenzo (who he has shared women with before) to start to factor into their arrangement. I cannot wait to see where this leads for all four of them.
Jayne Rylon's "Four Money" is an engaging and thought-provoking read that expertly blends romance with themes of ambition and friendship. Rylon's characters are well-developed and relatable, each overcoming their own challenges in pursuit of success and happiness. The chemistry between the protagonists is palpable, making their journey a joy to follow.
The narrative flows smoothly, with Rylon's signature wit and warmth shining through. The plot twists keep readers on their toes, while the underlying messages about the importance of trust and collaboration resonate deeply. Rylon demonstrates her skill in crafting a story that not only entertains but also inspires.
Overall, "Four Money" is a delightful addition to Rylon's repertoire, appealing to fans of contemporary romance. It's a must-read for anyone looking for a story that balances heart and hustle. Highly recommended!
This is the first part in the Ever and Always duet, so just be away it does end in a cliffhanger. But oh boy, did it keep me entertained.
Holly meets Trent, Lorenzo and Owen at a party for one of her friends, by the way, I love catching up with characters from the other series. Trent makes a proposition to Holly, once he finds out there are stipulations at the reading of his fathers will. For Holly, this is like a God send.
They go in with eyes wide open, once Lorenzo and Owen join them, wow, sparks fly and the bed sheets just burn up! You can tell they are going to have so much fun together.
No spoilers as to how it ends, but it sure has me wanting to read the next part, pronto!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
