This is the 3rd book in this series and I am loving them all. This book was absolutely as gripping as the last 2 .
Bennett is as stubborn as his brothers when it comes to his mate!
Can't wait for the next book now!

‘Our people are just very backwards in their ways of thinking’

Colorado author Sarah J. Stone absorbed the beauties of Aspen as a child and those perceptions of nature are evident in her books. After University, as a postgraduate, the non-writing part of her career led her to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she worked to prevent abuses in human rights. But when she writes she re-enters the world of fantasy and escapes with us into the realm of shape shifter and dragon tales.

Sarah’s series DRAGON ELEMENTS found an entirely fresh world. Even her opening pages of each story suggest we are going to a place we have not thought about before now. The atmospheric setting makes Sarah’s paranormal dragon stories seem feasible: ‘Bennet watched Mary for a moment before approaching her. She stood in the moonlight outside his family home, looking lovelier than any woman had the right to. Never in his life had he felt even an echo of what she stirred in him. It had been like that from the first moment he saw her. She was different than any female alive. Mary was made for him. Normally, it would be a cause for celebration. In their culture, it was rare to find one’s mate. Knowing that two of his brethren had already found their females made it even less likely he would find his own. After all, it was such an uncommon thing to find the one that the gods had made for you…Normally, wolves were repulsive to his kind…’ Two cultures – wolves and dragons – and the complexities of love attempts to transcend.

And so the story opens and Bennet reflects – ‘She’s the enemy… I’m not supposed to want her. A dragon and a werewolf would be disastrous together. But my blood boils when her family tries to force her to be with another wolf. I’ll save Mary from such a fate. Her hypnotic eyes and supple skin is all I ever think about. My life would be worthless without her in it. But she needs to trust me… and let me protect her. Will she let me risk my life for her sake? Or will her love for me come in the way of our future together?

In this new Dragon Elements series Sarah has captured our imagination wholly. Strong stories well told and Sarah is a leader!

Bennet is a dragon shifter and Mary is a wolf shifter. These two should not be fated for each other, right? Wrong. They both knew as soon as they saw each other that they were destined mates. So why is Mary trying so hard to deny it? She has some good reasons. Her family is cray cray, especially her father who wants her to mate with a wolf from another pack in order to get some backup against the dragons. He has kept her a virtual prisoner for most of her life and she just got away from him. If he finds out she is not only staying with the dragons he hates but in love with one, he will not take it well at all. As in he will try to kill Bennet and she really does not want that to happen. What's a girl to do?

I liked this book. Mary is strong and will do anything to stay out of her father's clutches, anything except sacrifice Bennet. I thought there was a little too much talking about everlasting devotion, yada, yada, but that is just me. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

This dragon, Bennet, finally has found his mate, but she is not human nor dragon. Her kind is supposed to be repulsive to his; however, they belong together. Initially, she hated talking about what was between them, although she and her wolf knew they belong to each one. Bennet is so patient to wait for her acceptance, and Mary always leaned into him for support. Their secret comes to life, and danger is too. His family quickly accepts their union, but her family has other plans for her.

Intrigue, danger, and love are together in this book, to show you love conquers all, even when threat and risk are at sight.

I love dragons and this one does not disappoint me at all. A must-read from Sarah J. Stone. This is my first book from her, and I consider it a great job, well and entertaining to be read, with surprising turnabouts.

Bennet by Sarah J. Stone is the third book in the Dragon Elements series. In this book, Mary has run away from her wolf shifter family when she was told she was to be married off to the male wolf of her father’s choosing to join two wolf clans together to fight against the dragon shifters. She goes to stay with her human friend Gail who has mated a dragon shifter. Unlike the wolves she has grown up with, Mary soon discovers that the dragon shifters are happy to help her escape from her family. Plus upon arriving at the dragon’s doorstep she meets her true mate, the dragon shifter Bennett. This is the story of how Mary and Bennett learn to work together, recover the moon stone from her Mary’s father, and finally accept that they are fated mates. This is a wonderful story of a strong willed female wolf shifter and a protective dragon shifter male that are truly perfect for one another. Bennet is a romantic love story involving enemies who are truly forever mates.

When Bennet first glimpsed wolf shifter Mary he knew she was his mate but why does she resist.
When wolf shifter Mary arrived at the Dragon's home after freeing his brother's mate Gail and getting her to safety Bennet realized she was his mate. She resists all his efforts to get closer to her but he is sure she feels the pull of the mate bond too. He knows he must keep trying if he is to have a full and happy life. Mary is aware of how stubborn and how strong her father's hatred of the dragon is plus he has indoctrinated the pack with the same feelings so she she realizes that acknowledging her bond to Bennet will paint a target on him for her father to use against her. She resist in the hope of saving him but Bennet will not give up until he changes her mind.

Once again Sarah has written another great book. The series continues where Mary and Bennet finally work out what was keeping Mary from admitting what kept her from admitting that she was his true mate. Her father refuses to let her take the path that she chooses for herself. They need the moonstone that her father always has on his person to free the water dragons. They come up with a plan to take it from him, but Bennet is captured and Mary’s father uses him as bait to get her back so he can force the mating ritual with the wolf he has chosen for her. Todd agrees to help his sister with her plan.
Bennet is released to save Mary and they are finally together again. I couldn’t put it down till I finished the last page.

Bennet has found his mate in Mary a wolf shifter who are the dragons enemies but Bennet doesn’t care he knows what his dragon wants and it’s Mary but Mary’s father plans to marry her off to another wolf pack. Mary feels the pull of her wolf to Bennet but she has to fight it she doesn’t want to marry another wolf and she doesn’t plan to because Mary is going to run so she keeps pushing Bennet away. Mary’s father has the moonstone around his neck they had bound the water dragons in their own prison and it’s only the moonstone that can get the other dragons out but Mary’s father never takes it off unless he goes into battle but Bennet will kill Mary’s father if he has to to free the water dragons. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.

Bennet is my favorite of the dragon brothers (at least so far). His mate is a wolf, the sworn enemy of the dragons, but from the moment he saw Mary he knew she was his mate. Mary feels the mating bond pulling her to Bennet, but she fears that if her family finds out about their connection they will target him. Mary has to come to realize that she and Bennet will need trust in each other to overcome her family. I liked the pacing for this story, but I did think there were a few elements that felt off. There was a lot of focus on Mary's family as a threat and her wanting to leave to protect Bennet, but Todd, Mary's one brother that wants to see her free, seemed like forgotten for most of the book and then thrown in towards the end. I would have liked to see him recognized even a bit more earlier in the story.

This is a NON -SPOILER REVIEW. Bennet by Sarah J. Stone is the third offering in her Dragon Elements series. While I enjoyed this read, I really wanted more action on another front (the water dragons). But it would seem that Bennet and Mary's story is a stepping stone to the next level. For me, this was a bittersweet story with a ton of angst and some redemption. I love Sarah J. Stone's writing style. Her characters are well developed and emotionally available. The story lines are interesting and addictive. You can't help falling into this series. Let's face it, this series promises much and so far has delivered... Now Give Me My Water Dragons! LOL!

This is the third book in this series and like the previous two there will be plenty of angst and drama before our fated mates admit that they are meant to be together

Bennet is a dragon shifter and he has met his fated mate only problem is that Mary is a wolf shifter and their two clans are sworn enemies. Now Mary's family is trying to force an arranged marriage to another wolf shifter Will Bennet be able to save her will she allow him to put himself at risk or will she sacrifice herself to keep him safe and will they ever get a happy ending. You will have to read to see

This is another well written book that flows well as have all the books ion this series While you don't have to read the previous two books I would recommend them

When you trust in your mate, you achieve paradise! Bennett recognized Mary as his mate as soon as he saw her, as did she. Mary's dad, the Alpha was trying to force her to mate with a neighboring pack to grow numbers. He felt his way was the right way to ensure loyalty to pack. Mary disagreed. She felt there was more to a female's life than forced mating and forced motherhood, for the pack. Mary had knowledge of the water dragons. Will Bennett overcome his mating commitment and let Mary stand on her feet? Will Mary's dad see the light and avoid any conflicts? Any chance they can save thw water dragons? Will Mary's brothers have epiphanies and change? Good story. Excellent series continuation. Great characters! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Another great read to the Dragon Elements series. This one brings Bennet and Mary's story. The author once again brings strong characters and an action packed story with drama, danger and lots of love. She does a great job describing her characters and events and paints her scenes perfectly. Bennet and Mary realize they're mates but she keeps putting walls between them. Eventually he breaks them down and they work through and fight for each other. The story moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked from start to finish. I loved reading their story and would recommend this book/series.

Bennett is a dragon shifter. Mary is a wolf shifter.
The wolves have trapped the dragons and war is on the horizon. Mary’s family tries to force a marriage on her but she seeks refuge with her friend.
Bennett knows the moment he sees Mary that she is his mate and he desperately wants her. Mary also knows but continuously fights it.
Can these two get their HEA or is there too much going on that will prevent it? Will the war cause too much damage for them?
Interesting read with intriguing characters

Mixed Bag

Bennet is dragon that has been released from captivity along with his brothers. A war is brewing with the wolves.

Mary is a wolf that wants a life of her own but the family is determine to dictate who she would mate. In their eyes she needed to be taken care of and that she was not smart enough to have an opinion on her life.

I believe each book is a standalone but there is a backstory that will continue in each book. Tune in to follow this clan.

Since book one of the DRAGON ELEMENTS we know that the dragon shifter Bennet and the wolf shifter Mary are mates, but their story was kept on the side, and nothing really happened between them. Now finally it is their story and Mary once more is saving the situation for the dragons to give them the final clues to save water dragons. A few unexpected allies bring an element of surprise and the usual tension and fighting between dragons and wolves makes the story exciting to read.

Very good story. Loved how Bennet wanted to save Mary. It's strange how most of the paranormal stories don't like to mix their animals but they have no control on who their fated mate is. I missed the first two books in this series so I'll have to go back and read them as this book was so good. I'm looking forward to book 4. Dragon shifter Bennett has found his soulmate in the wolf shifter Mary who had saved his sister-in-law from captivity by the wolf shifters. But wolves and dragons are natural enemies, and the wolves are holding the water dragons captive while Mary's alpha family have plans to mate her to her own kind. An adventure filled romance that meshes in nicely with the first two books of the series. I like it!

Bennet is a dragon shifter and Mary is a wolf shifter. Their two clans are bitter enemies and there seemed like there is no hope for the two of them. This story has so much deception, angst, and prejudices that it kept me involved with it from start to finish. Good short read!
