They're professionals. They know the boundaries. But some lines must be crossed.
Once bitten, twice shy doesn't begin to describe these two doctors. Both burned at love; both swear never to get roped into romance again. A one night stand at a resort in Mexico doesn't count, though. They won't meet a second time.
Until they do
Logan isn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. When he gets staffed at Emma's hospital to cover an out of town doc, he thinks the fates have smiled down on him. He's only in town for three months, so why not take advantage of it? No muss, no fuss, and everything his body can offer is hers. At first, Emma says no way in hell, but then she reconsiders. After all, even a doctor can use a little TLC.
When feelings of lust melt into feelings of love, will three months be enough?
Amanda Faye currently resides in Atlanta with her high school sweetheart and husband of 15 years and their 4 amazing children.
She's had a passion for reading and writing since she was a child. She stole her first romance novel from her mother at age 12 and hasn't looked back since.
You could say being a Reeder is in her blood. (Family joke)
WOW! This was my first read of Amanda’s work, and I LOVED it! I laughed, I was worried, I got all hot and bothered, I was swept off my feet, I smiled and swooned, and I admittedly cried a few (happy) tears. It had a bit of everything in it!
This was a story about two hot doctors – Emma Adams and Logan Taylor. They meet at a medical conference in Mexico (tough life), and there is an instant attraction – she likens him to having someone built him from clay (good visual thanks Amanda ;) They spend a hot, incredibly passionate night together. Just a sneaky one-night stand… so they thought.
Months later, they serendipitously (and TOTALLY unexpectedly of course), reunite again at the hospital Emma has been working at for years. Logan is back-filling a plastic surgeon position for a three-month stint. The magnetic attraction is still obviously there, but will they act upon it? After all, he’ll only be there for a short time, and Emma’s twin brother Darcy (LOVE the names, thank you Jane Austen) is the hospital’s Medical Director – and VERY protective of his sister.
Logan makes her an offer, a kind-of friends-with-benefits deal. Initially she says no, partly because she’d had her heart broken before, and wanting to protect her son. After talking about it with her friend (and a bottle of vodka), she changes her mind. And BOOM… it starts! They’re both very passionate, and their connection is electric!
There’s drama and plenty of overwhelming emotions in play throughout the book, between not only these two main characters, but their close families, friends and colleagues. All of them are wonderful and supportive. Some of the relationships, and the way they interacted reminded me of the fun (and serious) shenanigans in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.
I implore readers to give this book a go. They will not be disappointed. Will this loveable couple get their HEA together? Who am I kidding?! And, the epilogue contains some lovely surprises too.

Having a hot one-nightstand, thinking you will never see each other again. How would you react when the guy shows up at the hospital you’re working? As the new plastic surgeon? S.O.S. tells the story of Emma, who has everything under control, until Logan shows up… I’ve enjoyed reading their story very much.
Emma is a busy woman. Her days are filled with her work at the hospital and her free hours she spends with family and friends. Her last relationship didn’t end very well, so she doesn’t have any desire for a new guy in her life. Escaping Logan however, seems to be impossible. Logan is a newly single guy, who had his own bad experience. He’s not looking for something permanent, but he can’t forget Emma. The couple has great chemistry, but giving into their feelings takes some time.
Emma and Logan are both adults who have loved before and know (kind of) what they want from life. They also know that a real relationship needs more than just great sex and sweet talks, it needs commitment. And that’s something they’re both a bit afraid of. Especially since Logan is only in town for three months… Emma and Logan are a great couple who both deserve happiness, but their love doesn’t come easy. Well, love comes easy, but the Happily Ever After takes some serious work.
S.O.S. is the third book in the ‘Doctor Drama Series’, and I have enjoyed reading it. It’s a sweet and sexy story about two doctors who can’t resist each other. I love how they are together, and how close they are with their family and friends. That was also the only thing that confused me a bit at times; there are so many friends and family members, I was mixing up their names. But overall, S.O.S. is a great read, with sweet, sexy and serious moments and an amazing couple.
This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!

This was a very entertaining romcom and I absolutely enjoyed the dynamic between all the characters . When you are away on a conference and have a one night stand the last thing you would imagine is having that person showing up at your work for the next three months!!??? How will Emma and Luke manage to hide their relationship from her overprotective twin brother who happens to be the boss at the hospital they work at....

This story gave me ALL the feels. Do you hear me? The chemistry between these characters was epic in my opinion. They went through their struggles, and for a second I didn't think they were going to make it. But Amanda Faye brought them back together in a way that stole my breath. Great read!!!
I had a great time reading this book. The characters are well written and engaging and had plenty of chemistry that helped keep me entertained from page one to the last word.

This story is Steamy but so deep and passionate. I loved this story. The banter and humor was great! Their story has some unexpected turns which kept me turning the page. Can't wait to read more from Amanda Faye.
My first read from Amanda Faye. Was immediately drawn in to the characters and had trouble putting it down. The relationship between the hero and the heroine’s son hit me in the feels.
