The skin in question is a bearskin sported by villager Raymond Moret to entertain the visiting skiers. The on-again, off-again murder of Gregory Coyne included the murder of Moret so that the two hired assassins would have a perfect disguise. Harold Farquar, the British agent sent to keep the murder from becoming an international incident, falls in love with Mrs. C0yne.
