Self Confidence, what is it? It is the ability to be able to trust in oneself or one's own abilities. Chances are you know yourself better than anyone, this also means you know exactly how much trust you can put into yourself. There are some things you know you can handle and other things you’ll stay away from, for example; you may trust yourself to give yourself the right amount of medication prescribed to you by your doctor, but you wouldn’t trust yourself to give yourself brain surgery. Part of you learning how to build self confidence is also knowing your limits as well, know yourself and what you can do. Having confidence in oneself gives you the courage to go out and take the things in life that you desire to have. Once you know who you are, and you’re confident in your abilities, there is nothing that can stop you from progressing towards your goals in life. Anyone can cheerlead for you and tell you that you can do anything you want in life, but until you believe it for yourself, you’ll never get anywhere in life. In fact, people only get where they believe that they can in life. Once you believe you deserve a happy relationship in life you’ll have one, once you believe you deserve a better job you’ll have one, you will always work towards the things that you believe are obtainable for you. So the goal is to change, or enhance what you believe is obtainable for you, that way you can create the type of lifestyle you desire. Changing your mindset is something that you must be prepared for, and once you begin to change your mindset you’ll begin to recognize in other people their mindset, and how other people’s mindset either helps them or limits them in their daily life. Everyone wants a better life, but very few people are interested in working to obtain the lifestyle they desire. Most people today have been conditioned to obtaining things quickly, we want everything fast so we use a microwave, instead of warming things up in an oven which makes the food taste so much better. It took more than a few seconds to program your current beliefs that you have today, so it’ll take more than a few seconds to program new ones. This may seem like a bad thing, but it’s really a good thing, think about it like this, if your mind was too easily programmable anyone could make you do anything, plus once you program your mind the way you want, no one can walk in and easily change it. Your confidence in yourself will be exactly where you need it to be, there will be people who understand you, and some people won’t understand you, and for the people that don’t understand you, it’ll be okay because you know who you are. Getting you to that place of self confidence is the goal is the goal here, so without further ado, let’s get started toward helping you along your path to becoming the best you, you can be.
