My husband and I read this together, and we found it to be a great resource. The authors each share memorable anecdotes from their 30+ years of marriage, and each chapter has an Instant Marriage Boost tip. The book includes a list of conversation starters (which I know that newlyweds will find hard to imagine the need for!), ways to be your spouse's best friend, and other applicable ideas to strengthen/maintain your marriage. I'd recommend this read for sure!

I love how the book knocks down stereotypes especially the one how absent makes the heart grows fonder. It doesn’t. Absent does make you miss the person but content now without being without them as well. Marriage is all about hard work through loving action. Feelings do come and go everyday. Showing up matters the most you decided everyday no matter what this is thee person you chose to do life with.

This is a very easy read and makes for a great wedding gift. Highly recommend their podcast as well!!
