Fantastic daily devotional. Each day gives you a short passage to reflect upon, a discussion of the text and a prayer. It's a quick way to incorporate scripture into your daily life.
The book uncovered the essence of discipleship to me. Trying to bring the gospel to awareness to as many people as possible is critical and our duty as saved christans. I ask the Lord to strengthen my ability to do His will and help me understand the gospel when I read every night. The book also provides meditation prior to my nightly prayer. Everyone should have an opportunity to read it. I've purchased a few and gave them as gifts and the receivers were very appreciative.
It has some good parts in it but there are part that push a bit hard on evangelism. I get that this is part of the book but as a Catholic reading this it felt a bit off. Again some parts of it made me think hard about myself and others I didnt care much for. Its not bad but not fantastic but I recommend
I enjoyed reading this devotional this year. I learned a lot through it. However, I’m not sure if I will go through this devotional again. It appeared to be more fire and brimstone focused and bringing people to Jesus, which we Christians should be bringing people to Jesus, but I felt it could’ve been discussed differently. I am glad though that I studied this devotional this year.
Greta book to start a daily habit of reading the word of God. Of course, you will graduate to reading more and more. The elaborations are simply amazing.
