A great devotion! Sheehan has taken Ryle’s commentary’s of the gospels and broken them up into morning and evening style devotions! They include Ryle’s thoughts on specific gospel passages, scripture from other parts of the Bible related to the discussed topic, and a sentence application at the end of every devotion. It was so simple and edifying and I could not recommend it strongly enough! I had a beautiful gift edition of this book, but I will mention that there were a couple of formatting/ publishing issues with my version that affected a handful of the devotions. This is definitely one that I will revisit in the coming years and an easy thing to incorporate into family devotions!!
