I’ve screwed up big time. Now, I’m facing the damning consequences.

The walls are closing in as I balance duty to grandmother’s memory with my impossible feelings for Kyros. Then there’s the freakin’ human-vampire hybrid thing to deal with.

The problem is, I’m no longer willing to lose the person I’ve gambled against from the start.

Our fates hinge on a single roll of the dice, and one wrong move could collapse the tower of cards I’ve painstakingly built.

If that happens, I’ll lose more than I ever bargained for.

WOW WOW WOW

This trilogy was an absolute blast, I loved them so much and this final instalment was just perfect. I love an ending that leaves no room for second guessing, when everything ties up perfectly, just like Vampire Towers.

I have loved the characters from book one, I love the interactions they have and the development that happens, the storylines, the plots, the games, the history - all of these qualities lie within this amazing trilogy.

It didn't matter that I read the shifter trilogy first but there was a massive spoiler that kind of pointed at the end of these vampirebooks but that aside I still loved both trilogies so much.

I am actually going to continue with another storyline by Kelly St. Clare and I'm hoping they're as good as these last 6 books of hers!

Ten million stars!!!!!!

What a bloody perfect end to what has become one of my favourite series ever.

There was so much for Basi and Kyros to overcome and so much growth needed in both characters, but I can't possibly see how anyone could be disappointed by how it all ends. It was just perfect and surpassed all my hopes and more.

Basi is a wonderfully real character who owns up to some uncomfortable truths on this final book. But she woman's up, owns her mistakes, her issues and her misconception and just owns her life and decisions. I wanted to stand up and applaud her action at the climax of the book.

Kyros continues to be swoon worthy. I adore the perfect balance the author has managed to make between the ruthless predatory, struggles with control vampire, and humanise him in a way that feel genuine and not cheesy. Their relationship has been wonderful to watch unfurl and the rewards make all of the angst worthwhile.

There is some serious angst and heartbreak here, but it was to be expected. If Chapter 19 doesn't make you at least a little watery eyesld then your heart is made of stone I tell you! I very rarely cry at books, but this made me well up three times!

The author's note at the end about her Grandmother dying during the first draft of the first book is really touching and really explains the genuine nature of Basi's grief, which I think was dealt with sensitively.

Kyros' family continues to be wonderful, as does Tommy and Basi's Indebted. There are so many wonderful side characters that I would love a spin off.

If you loved the last two books then you will adore this and if you haven't discovered this series yet then I am very jealous because I wish I could discover it all over again for the first time! Seriously, drop everything and read it now!

This was

Everything

All the feels
All the love/hate
All the sexual tension
All the bittersweet
All the ending I could hope or ask for.

If there every was a gif for this it has to be this one;

I literally have so much love for this series I am unable to find any faults at all.
I'm completely blinded to any and all criticism.

I don't think I've rated another series and 5 star all the way through since Hidden Legacy. And that is saying something.

Please refer to my other reviews for more fangirling but I don't see the need here to explain this book in detail.
Blood Trail
Vampire Debt
Its a bloody roller-coaster. But completely perfect. Basi amd Kyros have had such an epic love/hate relationship, with so many up and downs can it ever work out? They have so much to get past, their relationship has evolved with every blood exchange. Those changes and growing feelings were the highlight of the series. My heart broke a few times and I couldn't stop smiling in others.

"Everything was different now. And everything could be stolen away in the coming days. That couldn’t happen—I wouldn’t let it. Or I wasn’t Agatha Le Spyre’s granddaughter.
Business time."

Like the end of a dramatic song it makes me want to

Let the book hangover from hell begin

If in doubt just reread Hidden Legacy, right?

P.S. Could someone PLEASE let the cover artist know that Kyros has never worn a leather Jacket, ever...in any book. Giving him toffee coloured hair does NOT a Kyros make!

The best in the series.
While I don’t agree with most of the heroine way of thinking, I can see why it had to be that way.
It need to be able to have a big impact for that court’s scene 😘.

Still annoying heroine, but she is only 21 years old, so? 🤷‍♀️
The hero wasn’t bad either and an interesting concept about vampires.

I liked the beginning of the series. But then everything changed. There were so many lies and omissions, pushing and pulling, revenge plans and betrayals on both sides.

I had hoped that by book II there would be couple time, that the Hero and Heroine would confess everything and work together for their goal. But no. Hero and Heroine only get together for real at the very end of book III. And that's just too late for me. All this drama and back and forth and the shutting each other out was too much. At the end I couldn't enjoy them being together, because I don't believe in their "love". For me there was just too little romance and too much drama to enjoy the book the way I wanted.

And I found the best friend of the Heroine really annoying. She was always there.

On the plus side, there was no OW drama. Not once in all the three books.

Basilia Le Spyre you crafty, smart, loyal, amazing, spoiled rich bitch. Kudos.

description

I left the last book not 100% into the relationship between the two leads, and worried how the story was going to wrap up. But I have to also say kudos to the author for bringing a satisfying ending to this series!
I was happy that Bas character grew even more, but at the same time kept the core of herself. Basically she was fantastic

And again I loved that her friendship with Tommy was so strong, and its so refreshing to see such a great female duo. Also, Tommy and

I had such a fun time reading, and I'm happy with how the series wrapped up.

A great conclusion. Fast-paced, romantic, and I just want more.

Also I've tagged this 'alpha-heroine' alongside the ever-present 'alpha-hero' because Basi has seriously come into her own. I am so thrilled I discovered Kelly St Clare, even if I don't remember how...

Oh, and I do recommend reading this series after the Werewolf Dens one even though this technically comes first, because otherwise the games aspect starts to feel weirdly similar. The characters though are totally unique.

A great end to a great series! This series took me by surprise mainly because it had a great plot line, lots of humour and showed another side to vampires. Pure entertainment gold!

Thanks to the #cakeeaters to br this with me!

A while back a Che wanted to read the new Supernatural Battle series called Coven Caves. But I never read the Vampire Towers and Werwolf Dens. We ended up to start with Vampire Towers. I haven't read a Vampire book in a while, because I don't always like, how vampires are described. I went in blind, expecting nothing and ended up loving the series.

Basil is at the beginning pretty clueless. She left the comfort of her rich, safe and loving home to experience how the other people live. And that wasn't a world she expected or knew how to live in it. But her best friend Tommy helped her to find her way in this world. She finds a Job at a realtor company, not knowing that she is employed to a company owned by vampires, who are playing a game.

She learn to live in this world where she not a rich girl, but a hard working one. But the job at the realtor where her knowledge how to handle people comes in handy.

She meets Kyros a Vampire prince. The funny thing in this series is how the human girl is bossing around Vampires and they have to cope with it, while she needs to realise what she has done wrong. But she grows with every tasks and leans quickly how to handle this world and grows up quickly.

The next two books are about Basil learning more about her Grandmother and trying to walk in her grandmothers shoes.

All three books are so much fun, I binged them one after the other and enjoyed it very much.

I'm looking forward to our Werewolf Dens br!

This will be a review for the entire trilogy.

This series has probably sat on shelf for better part of over a year. I've been a fan of Kelly St. Clare ever since I read the Tainted Accords Saga so I was really looking forward to this.
When the first five pages with every word stab the point home that our h(Basi) is an absolutely spoiled heiress, sick of her rich, white girl privilege and wanting to give it all up for the "real world", *cue eye-roll* yeah it makes it really hard to keep reading.

But I forced myself this time to keep going and yea, I really does not want to say this cause I love Kelly so much but this was kinda meh. Loved this last book best amongst the three. It was fun, thrilling and that last bit? *chef's kiss* Utterly expected but I just love it anyways.

Annoying as the H and h were, I can always count on Kelly to make it all stick so you can feel every emotion and this series was the same, I was raging (probably even more than Basi was) but I was raging at Kyros and the politics. I'm a no-games, no-bullshit kinda gal, so politics makes my blood boil like nothing else. But I'll also have you know I finished this trilogy between Aug29-Aug31 so basically I kept reading this one after the next so even I have to ask at this point that really, how bad could it have been?

There were definitely moments when I wanted to bash my head in, AFTER bashing every one else's and moments where I really didn't think my eye balls would come back down cause I was rolling 'em that hard, then came the moments that were so draggy and tedious that they made me question what I was doing with my life for funsies and then of course there were moments when I really, really, REALLY wanted to strangle every one, EVERY ONE, in this book Homer and Bart style while I madly witch cackled.

Hah~ good times, good times xD

Mixed in were also moments that made my heart hurt, moments where I definitely knew better but still got swept up for the ride, moments where I wanted to cry at the injustice of it all and moments that I still remember even after over two weeks when my goldfish memory can barely remember what I had for breakfast *le sigh*

TL;DR: I read far too much on various platforms simultaneously and have the memory of a goldfish. Annoying as it was, even after 18 days I still remember shit so it left an impression. Love Kelly St. Clare, will read more from her in the future.

Probably shoulda used more formatting and gif to liven this up huh~ *shrugs*

Oh, the webs we weave when we practice to deceive!

Death Game is the absolutely epic conclusion to Supernatural Vampire Towers. It was fast paced and I experienced a broad range of emotions while reading it. Kelly St. Clare is truly talented. If you are into Adult PNR with an interesting twist, or vampires, I couldn't recommend this series enough!

More complete RTC.

I recieved an ARC from the author, however my opinions are my own.

I binge-read this entire trilogy last night and this morning, and I have no regrets! The last book did a number on my emotions, but the ending was really nice. I'm glad Basi got her head on straight, and figured everything out! Overall, this book was hilarious, heartfelt, sweet, sexy, entertaining, and even inspiring at times. It was really freaking good, and I sincerely thank the ladies of RHR for the recommendation! 5 stars.

I'll be frank, the book is bad. Mc is a classic Mary Sue, direction of the story/ending is super predictable even from book 1, too much drama/betrayal and lust-driven and not enough couple/romantic time between male and female MC to make their relationship believable and for reader to ache for them. I still stayed up till 4am with work the next day to inhale this damn book. It is addicting if anything.

This was such a satisfying conclusion to such a thrilling series! Basi is just the type of sassy, kick-ass heroine that I love reading about. She doesn't let anyone push her around, she speaks her mind, and she stands up for what is right. She really makes this story thrive. Her characterization has seen so much character growth throughout this series. I really loved the way that the story came together in the end. I felt like it was a little anticlimactic in certain ways but it also packed quite an emotional punch in the end. At the end of the day, the plot was cleverly constructed and was executed beautifully. I really love this author's stories and she has quickly become one of my favorite authors. If paranormal romance is your jam then I highly recommend this series and anything from this author.

Fun series. I'm not as big a fan of stories where a couple is covertly working against each other. The trust thing is important to me, so there were moments that I didn't enjoy as much, but St. Clare has delivered a fantastic story.

After the cliffhanger ending of book 2, I wasn’t sure how the author was going to pull off the story in one book. But she does it wonderfully.

In the conclusion to the series, Basilla and Kyros seem to be in an impossible spot. Once Kyros finds out Basillia’s secret, the stakes are even higher. It’s up to Basil to end the game and save Kyros and his family.

It was a great ending to a fun series. The characters have stayed in my head. I can’t wait to see what the author writes next.

I’d highly recommend this series - start at book 1.

This entire trilogy was addictive. I became invested in the plot alongside the characters whether main or side.

My favorite thing has to be the different elements and layers the story has as it spans the 3 books. It was entertaining at times, made me laugh so hard it even surprised me, had me sobbing over a mutual feeling of grief, and had me up into the late hours of the night just to see what was going to happen next. I was able to dig deep into a story when in reality I have not truly been able to for awhile.

This came into my life at such the right time.

Absolute and utter perfection!I'm still holding out hope our brilliant author might do a spin-off series as I truly don't want to say goodbye forever to these characters! Basi truly shines in this conclusion to the series. Oh so many emotional ups and downs. I have no doubt her beloved grandmother was beaming from the afterlife in the genius moves she played. Though it's not without cost. Get ready for a wonderful ride filled with greed, lust, joy, pain and every other emotion under the moon and Sun.

I am so heartbroken.

The first book started off with strong potential but it quickly crashed and burned by book 3. I haaated the back and forth between Basi and Kyros. It happened too late in the book series to really have any substance, and you want to sell me on the fact that they luuurve each and would risk anything?

Nah.

So hard pass on Death Game. I had to skim most of it because the tone of the book became dry and repetitive. The drama felt forced, the family felt fake, the characters felt disingenuous. The ending was okay—they certainly got their HEA. However it didn't feel like it was deserved and thus, left me wholly unsatisfied.

Fantastic ending to an incredible series.

The third book in this holds true to who Basi and Kyros are as people. We feel their wins and their losses with them. Kelly hit all the feels in every way with this one.

I don’t want to spoil anything but for anyone looking for a new adult paranormal romance series with an awesome plot, great characters, and tons of action + steam—this checks all the boxes.

Filled with family, love, loss, and so much more this has been my favorite series of 2019 and 2020 so far.

I finally finished it!

I'm happy that it got such a good ending. I'm glad that they figured things out without too many casualties. Well, not as many as I predicted. I'm glad that the couple finally made sense of what they really are to each other. Finally, the second-guessing and the no-giving-the-other-a-chance-to-speak has ended and it all made sense.

All in all, I have mixed feelings for this series, but one thing for sure is that I found it very refreshing. I have never come across such a plot for a vampire series. Cheers to that.

This whole trilogy has been a solid 5 star read. And this book is Epic with a capital E. Both Kyros and Basi prove themselves beyond doubt.

Kyros' actions are swoonworthy. His makes him hotter than ever.

Basi is a kickass girl. I really feel there's a paucity of rich heroines in the romance world. What a nice change it was to read about Basi

Verdict: Forevermore love

This is a review for all three books in the series. I'll pop a spoiler warning in here, just in case. But I don't think I give anything you don't expect away.

I purchased and read all three books (well, the first was a freebie). So, I can't claim I didn't enjoy the series. Otherwise I wouldn't have continued. But this is one of those series that I enjoyed on the surface. I liked the characters. There's some humor. The writing is engaging. The female main character had a backbone of steel and a sharp wit. The male romantic lead was forced to grovel in a satisfying manner and I liked how he let his heroine lead in so many situations. I was invested their outcome. I enjoyed it...so long as I didn't think too deeply about it.

Because there just isn't any getting around the fact that the hero owned slaves, saw nothing wrong with owning slaves, and had not changed his opinion about owning slaves by the end of the book. It's gets awful hard to keep the 'romantic' in the 'romantic male lead' in such cases.

Similarly, there just isn't any was to ignore the fact that (as is so often the case in romance books), by the end, he had gotten everything he wanted without sacrificing anything for it. While she had to go through hell and willing give up almost everything she valued in order to earn her man. Why are women so often expected to suffer for love, while men just have to exist?

And lastly, there's just something a little classist and elitist about the way she was made out to be so exceptional because she grew up wealthy and was therefore trained to be more. Sure, she avoided her wealthy friends' snobbish fate because she had and valued a poor friend. But the whole thing was just icky.

All in all, as I said in the beginning, this is a fun (if slow) series, so long as you don't think past the surface plot.
