Erin Wade’s best yet. With more twists than a moonshine run in the Kentucky hills, “Two Ways to Die” is a cliff hanger you’ll think about long after you finish the last page. You’ll fall in love with Java Jarvis and Kat Lace as they scorch the pages with their desire for one another. Another #1 Bestseller for Erin. Java Jarvis is like no heroine you ever met. The kind of woman every girl wants to meet at least once in her lifetime. She’s every woman’s dream and every criminal’s nightmare. One of the hottest Lesbian Novels of the year.
With a degree in accounting, I set out to conquer my quiet little corner of the world. My plan was to work for a major accounting firm and live a comfortable life. One never knows where fate will lead. I soon discovered I liked taking chances and started acquiring small parcels of land to resale. Within a year, I found myself immersed in the fun of land brokering. My native state, Texas, is a wide-open community of wonderful people and vast amounts of land. Opportunities in Texas are limitless. Texas and the fact that I am a workaholic were the perfect recipe for success. I have visited every state in the U.S. and lived in some, but Texas is always the one that calls me home. I thought I had the world by the tail; a nice little ranch that bordered a Texas lake, a horse and a few head of cattle. Life was good. Then I met a woman and life was no longer good, it was amazing. Now my life is an adventure of love and laughter. My partner encouraged me to begin writing. I published my first book in 2014 and have been successful in the Mystery/Suspense genre. Too Strong to Die is my first gay book. I am proud to say that after one week, on 2/1/2017, it is the #1 (Paid) Lesbian book on Amazon. Thank you so much for making it happen. Please let me hear from you. Should I continue writing for our community or stick with my Mystery/Suspense books?
I completely agree with the reviewer, who said it from a nice romantic thriller to bad sci fi. But will add it did this in literally 2.5 seconds. I nearly got whiplash. I had to reread the scenes several times before I could make it make any sense. It was very unfortunate, as I otherwise really enjoyed this book. But honestly, I almost stopped reading. I thought it was just really over the top. Then I had to think about it for a bit before I decided. But yeah-a total turn off for me.
Fun book. Am sad to hear a different narrator in book 2. I’d finally gotten used to Erin Wade’s usual narrator. But this book was great. (If you can find humor in a dog running around with a head) And it’s a very unpredictable mystery/thriller.
The story was good especially the beginning and middle, by the I had worked out most of the threads. However I found the ending to this story exasperating. The story went from a believable murder mystery into science fiction. Erin is a good writer and yes I would read other books by this author.
My mind is just going, "Wow!" To me this book was beyond thrilling . I could not put it down, but strangely I was relieved when I came to the end. But now I find that I can't stop thinking about the story. It was so well done and so very real. I can't help but think some of it could happen in real life. Java and Kat are fantastic characters as are all the rest. The book takes so many twists and turns you have no idea how it will all end. I absolutely loved this book, and highly recommend it. Thanks once again Ms. Wade!
My first Java Jarvis suspense novel. Excellent !! It kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept guessing until the end. Never could I have imagined this surprise ending. Always romance and always action . I can't wait to read the next Java Jarvis thriller.
Java Jarvis is an undercover FBI agent and runs a club named, Java’s Place. Kat Lace is the singer at the club and part of Java’s team that staff the restaurant and investigate serial killers. With two killers active in Texas and Louisiana, they are being overwhelmed with crime scenes. A mystery and romantic thriller.
I have read a lot of Erin Wade’s books and did not care for this one. I thought the murders too violent. Also, I did not think it was written very well. As others have said the ending was interesting, but the rest I would not recommend.
I really enjoyed this novel. Lot's of guessing with a very surprising twist. I was glad to see another Java Jarvis book is in the works. Can't wait to read it.
This is my first Erin Wade tale and it is great. FBI agents crushing each other while soving 2 types of deaths Very clearly set up for a series together
This is a really good book. I loved it the characters are very well developed. Really enjoy books with strong women. Waiting for book two. Really good mystery that kept me guessing until the end . Thanks for another great read.
