Bio-engineered to be the only redhead in a generation of blonds, Lulu feels that “aliens” may actually be the best answer for a lifetime of being asked, “Where did you get that red hair from?”

Lulu cannot ride a horse, hula hoop, or play roller derby (not from lack of trying), but she can make pictures. Encouraged to make those pictures out of words Lulu began writing just to see what would happen. Words happened, so many words.

Lulu embraces the crazy that comes with that one little genetic mutation and attempts to live up to the reputation of being a redhead.

I liked this book, as a curvy girl myself, I identified with some of the protagonists in many of these stories. My favorite story was the first one, by Lulu M. Sylvian. Hers was well written and a fun story. I’m a fangirl now lol.

I couldn’t give this book a five star review. Some of the stories needed better editing done. But all in all, I did find some authors I’ve not read yet that look promising, so I’m excited for that. And I love the fact that the royalties are going to a wonderful cause.

I've only had the chance to read one of the stories so far, but it was so good I had to come post my review for it.

Gingerbread, With Love by Barb Shuler
This is a fantastic little story. It a very uplifting story, with genuinely nice people in it. I think there are a few questions left unanswered, so I hope the author has plans to expand this into a longer story in the future. I would love to hear more about how Aubrey and Jon's relationship evolved. I would also like to know a bit more about Aubrey's past and what happened to her ex-ass!

I will come back to update my review when I finish more of the stories.

I'm reviewing two of the stories.
By George by Nia Farrell
This was inspirational and uplifting and perfect for the holidays. To fall in love again with your spouse would be a magical and amazing experience and one many have not revisited. I loved this concept. A story of great loss, healing, survival, and putting the pieces of a shattered life and love back together! What a daunting task and so very fulfilling. A real heart tugger.
Lassie Come Home by Ree L Diehl
Ross and Nora's story was so sweet. They met on the internet and he's a rough and ready Highland farmer and she's an authority on pastures and taking care of the land. Together they're perfect, but even more so as they learn each other's proclivities. I loved their unconventional D/s relationship and the courage they had to pursue a forever together. Holiday feels abound!!.

I'll review two of the stories, for now.
Nia Farrell's 'By George'
I can't even imagine loosing your whole life, like George did. That he struggled to get back to his former life - at least physically despite what the doctors said - showed that he had his personality intact. Being able to fall in love with his wife again, made my heart melt.
It was a sweet and heartwarming story.
Ree L Diehl's 'Lassie, Come Home'
This one was quite different, compared to 'By George'. Still, it felt really good to read this story about two people who find each other and start a life together. Two different personalities from different worlds, found each other and had more in common then not.
I reviewed ARC's for these stories and loved them.

My review is for two of the stories featured in this anthology

Lassie come home by Ree L Diehl

Nora has travelled to Edinburgh for hogmanay (new years eve), she went there after meeting a man online after he convinced her that Edinburgh was the place to be. That man is Ross over 6ft feet of pure man.
A fun filled trip full of mind blowing sex is there any hope that this could turn into something more? Perfect story the this time of year

By George by Nia Farrell

George had been in a coma and was currently residing at a rehab centre doing well with his therapy, though he still had awys to go. George was a singer and was having music therapy as part of his treatment. I really can't say more without giving anything away a beautiful heartwarming story.
