Love, loss, and a life torn apart… Can a stranger with a raven tattoo heal her heart? After the death of her mother and a painful break-up, Rhiannon finally managed to put the shattered fragments of her heart back together and find peace. But then a long-buried trauma resurfaced, and she was thrust into the blistering heat of the fire. Now, caught between light and dark, hope and despair, she must discover if she can rise strong once more. She’s blessed with the support of her best friend, the love of a priestess and the magic of her coven, yet there’s also a ghost who haunts her dreams. A love spell threatening to blow up in her face. A fight she has no chance of winning. A mysterious woman in gold who knows more than she’ll reveal. A trial from the Lady of the Lake and a challenge from Morgaine. And a stranger with a raven tattoo who could save her or destroy her. As the shadows close in around her, Rhiannon must find the courage to journey deep into the woods to confront the darkness within. But even if she’s brave enough, will she conquer her fears and emerge into the light for her happily-ever-after, or is she destined to wander lost and alone forever? “This is a transformative must-read. Profound, thought-provoking and empowering, it’s so immersive that the magic emanates from the pages. I loved every second of it.” Kastie Pavlik author of the Children of the Morning Star Trilogy

I loved the "Storm" trilogy & was honored to read an ARC for "Into the Air" by Serene Conneeley. Rhiannon & Beth’s stories touched me deeply, & reminded me to find joy in the smallest, everyday things, of the healing that comes with inner reflection, & of the warmth of the truest love. In the "Mists" trilogy, Carlie's losses were soul crushing, blow after blow, & made me cry for her, but, while I shed tears for Rhiannon, I also cheered her on to find her strength & rediscover life in full color. I felt empowered for her. Every aspect of the story was so impactful, & the pacing & progression were perfect for the psychological elements to fall into place & explain Rhi's behaviors in "Mists."
.
Serene is so empathically in tune with her characters that they, & their situations, become tangible, & even though magic & otherworldly beings help Rhi, it feels real & offers hope & an avenue of strength for survivors to seek help from counselors or friends or community. Whether magical or not, the story beings all reiterate the same ways to cope, which are readily available in the real world as us mortals know it.
.
The environment is so immersive that the magic & energies of nature emanate from the pages into your fingers. This is a journey of the self & spirit that is an absolute must read for anyone feeling lost, broken, or unrecognizable. By placing us in a harsh reality, but asking us to see the beauty within, Serene brings magic to life & reminds us to love ourselves & each other, to harmonize with nature & feel the vibrational energy of the Earth, & to join together as a community.
.
I Ioved every second. It is a transformative must-read. Highly recommended.
