Charlotte had a crush on me for years. She’s all grown up now and wants to lose her v-card. I can’t resist her sweet lips and curves. We were together, behind her brother’s back. When he found out, I thought I lost her. I got her back, but now something else has come between us. Something I never planned, but always wanted. The pain of losing her again is crushing me. I need to make Charlotte mine forever.
ONE MAGNIFICENT TREAT!!! Thrilling! Lulu drops another hit and jumps right over gold and hits platinum, drilling through mayhem, shenanigans and chaos that fuses this jewel together one jagged piece at a time. Mastering the ups and downs, weaving a cocoon so intricately and tight, draws you deeper into this tangled web until everything else ceases to exist. A barrage of daunting circumstances and a bevy of inadvertent contingencies propel those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. Heart stopping drama, intrigue, tension and suspense spirals keeping you riveted on a razors edge. Add turmoil and distress along with perplexing situations that propels this bad boy into a tailspin with staggering results. Jumping hoops, hurdling trials and tribulations that tests our characters in ways they never saw coming. The chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are authentic and realistic with on point personalities and depth that blew this baby wide open and exposed in all it's glory. The scenes are so colorfully described it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Lulu, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Charlotte is working at a café making art in the foam of coffee drinks. When what she really wants to do it bakes cakes at her own bakery. Ford is back in their hometown for a better job than he had. When his best friend Marshall takes him home and he sees Charlotte for the first time he knows that he wants her for the long haul. However with her being his best friend's little sister he doesn't know how to act about it. When he ends up out with Charlotte and her friend to celebrate Charlotte turning 21 he makes his move. Charlotte is interested in Ford and knows the minute her brother learns about it there will be drama because he feels like he needs to control her. What will they do when her brother finds out about them? Will they still be able to be together?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for Bad Boy Update.
Good Story & Characters Except for Brother Whose a Swing & Miss. I have somewhat mixed feelings about this book because I’m such a fan of the author, Lulu Pratt. My main issue centered around Marshall, the brother to Charlotte and best friend to Ford. Marshall’s character I found to be over the top to the point of ridiculously overprotective toward his sister. I would diagnose him as having an unhealthy attachment disorder and send him to therapy. But since this isn’t reality, the author turned him into a caricature. Other than that, the storyline was well laid out and the romance that unfolded between Charlotte and Ford was captivating. I am definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.
What a roller coaster ride that you don't want to get off of!! Charlotte has always loved Ford, her overprotective brothers best friend. She thought she would never see him after high school, but he is back in town and hotter then ever. Ford has always harbored a crush on her, but now that she is all grown up he can't get her out of his head. She wants to give him the one thing she has never given any man, and he can't resist her. They carry on for awhile, bit all hell breaks lose when her brother finds out. Just when he thinks he has lost her for good, they get a second chance...until that fickle bitch fate steps in to throw a monkey wrench into their happiness. This is packed with twists and turns and guilt and passion and love.....all which make this such a fabulous story!!
I really enjoyed this latest book by Ms Pratt. The fact that Ford was an airline mechanic really caught my attention, as that is what my husband is. Charlotte and Ford were such a hot and sexy couple. They had challenges along the way to their HEA in the form of Charlotte's brother, who also happens to be Ford's best friend. Both were worried about how Marshall would feel about them being together. Then there is the drama caused by Virginia. This was a well written story that had me captivated from the beginning. I loved how everything came together for them in the end.
Crushed has just the right amount of angst, heartbreak, drama, sizzlin' chemistry, an unexpected surprise, physical attraction, love, and of course... incredible sex.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
A book filled with drama, romance, love and of course sex. What more can you ask for. The story was written well and I thought the characters were enjoyable.
Couldn't get enough of Ford & Charlotte's story. Good characters. This was an emotional roller coaster for me. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Loved the storyline of this book. OMG I thought Ford was beautiful but how adorable was Charlotte. I so loved these two together. I really did think Ford may have got a paternity test to make sure but nevertheless Emma would be loved so much it really made no difference. She was their Daughter no doubt about it. Fairytales do come true when you wait. Well done again Lulu.
DNF. Read to 74%. Charlotte may be 21 but she's a very immature 21. After finally getting her brother's acceptance that she's allowed to make her own decisions about her life and his approval for her to move in with Ford, now she's dumping him because a former one night stand shows up with a kid she claims is his. Even if it is his kid it could be worked out but instead she's dumping him.
I'm now feeling Charlotte doesn't deserve a HEA because she doesn't love Ford enough to fight for their relationship. She wouldn't even fight for him or answer his texts when Marshall found out about him. So even assuming she gets an HEA she doesn't deserve one I just don't care.
