Crescent Cove #8

My Ex's Baby

Rate this book
Okay, so he wasn’t actually my ex.

August is my best friend’s older brother, and he just went with me to Macy and Gideon’s wedding. You know, friends with no benefits.

Then we ended up having sex at said wedding.

At the reception, not during the actual ceremony. Hello, I have some manners.

We agreed to not do it again. Until I thought I was pregnant. And instead of being upset, I was happy.

Except I wasn’t. Pregnant, that is.

Then I drunk dialed August and asked him to make a baby with me.

On purpose.

I wanted to take it back. To die of shame.

But the next thing I knew, he was at my door...

Author’s note: The hero doesn't start out as a single father, but practice makes perfect. My Ex’s Baby is a standalone romantic comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

First of all the title is misleading, they weren't exactly exes.

Anyways I started to write a detailed review but the blurb actually explains the plot.

Friends to lovers - thankfully they weren't pining for each other for years, both had relationships until things changed for them. Not a scenario I like but I rolled with it

The h was very frustrating - she hid the relationship the entire book for the reason that she didn't want to lose his sister or family. I get it she had a tough childhood that led to her issues but damn she took it to the bitter end! And then it was just wrapped up quickly with all being forgiven.....ugh

The H was amazing - a good guy with the patience of a saint, he held strong playing the long game

All in all I'm a fan of this series and I enjoyed this one for the most part just the h's behavior made reading it a bit tedious

No cheating
No OW drama
Her ex made a teeny tiny appearance
h pushes away a lot

I had to get past the title because this couple wasn’t a couple, they were friends who when the attraction got too big between them did something spontaneous and wild at a wedding reception. So in my head this book is always going to be My Big Fat Surprise Wedding Baby, but I guess some people might take offense to that, whatever! The writing duo of Taryn Quinn offer ups a passion filled, backwards romance in My Ex’s Baby.

August Beck, seriously I don’t know if there can be a more perfect hero. Patient (to a fault), compassionate, talented, funny, caring, good with babies, and even better good with wood . I flat out fell head over heels for this man and honestly several times throughout this book wondered if his one flaw as being so crazy in love with Kinleigh, because guys I’m telling you the woman was a lot of work.

Kinleigh has always had a bit of a mysterious air about her throughout this series, there is no doubt she’s a good friend, an artist in her own right, and a successful businesswoman, but she’s always held herself back just a bit, not letting everyone see all of her, not even her best friend, Ivy. As Ivy goes into labor, Kinleigh is there to assist with Ivy’s husband out of town working, but she has help in the form of Ivy’s brother and the man who she absolutely can’t be involved with, August.

I loved that August and KInleigh thought they were keeping the lust and longing just between them when basically the entire town but for sure their peer group all knew they wanted one another and for that matter had taken their relationship to a physical one. I got frustrated with Kinleigh several times because I felt like she wasn’t being fair to August who I’m telling you was a freakin’ saint for putting up with some of her shenanigans.

I enjoyed watching this story play out, the emotions of their first revelation, to Kinleigh asking August to make a baby with her, to the surprise that made them both so happy.

Emotional and sexy yet with a sweet side, I loved My Ex’s Baby.

It's a New Years Eve wedding for Macy and Gideon and it seems as if all of Crescent Cove is in attendance including the little ones....and you know weddings are a great place for a hookup, right?!?!

Here's a disclaimer that should be put on a sign when you enter the town:
Unless you're looking to get pregnant don't drink the water in Crescent Cove.
Seriously though either the women are pregnant, have just had a baby, or are trying to get pregnant....there has to be something in the water because none of the men seem all that freaked out about it ether.

My 5 minute review:
➵ Hero: 5. August Beck is a swoon worthy hero. He’s caring, funny and patient to a fault. I loved and hated how much he put up with Kinleigh’s continuous dismissal of his desire to want more than being a baby daddy because of her relationship with his sister.
➵ Heroine: 3.5. Kinleigh is incredibly talented and a great friend, but she was very closed off. So much so that she didn’t even open up to her best friend, much less the guy who was deliriously in love with her.
➵ Sexiness: 5. August and Kinleigh burn up the pages with their sizzling chemistry. It came as no surprise they had a difficult time hiding it.
➵ Feels: 4. This story was sexy and fun.
➵ Plot/Pace: 4. Kinleigh’s best friend is August’s sister. They’re attracted to each other and after a sexy night together Kin has a near pregnancy scare. It turns out both August and Kin are disappointed about the result and start trying to really get pregnant. But how will Kin’s best friend react over their relationship?
➵ Overall rating: 4.3.

My Ex’s Baby is book #8 of the Crescent Cove series by authors Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliot. It is a sexy standalone romance, told from various points of view with a happy ending.

Kinleigh and August share a building, she on the top floor and he on the bottom floor. They also share Ivy, August's sister and Kinleigh's bestie. They're seriously hot for each other but dance around the attraction. Until they stop dancing. And start doing. But it was a one time thing that will never happen again. Right?

But like all her friends in Crescent Cove, Ivy wants a baby. Who better to ask for help with that than August. It's just for baby reasons, and not for any other reason, though. No feelings involved...

There is a huge obstacle to all their baby making, and that's her many demons, though. Poor Kin had a less than loving upbringing, and it damaged her in ways August is not sure he can ever help her through. She pulls him close, then pushes him away while her body and heart battle each other. August had the patience of a damn saint for putting up with her yo yo routine, and I felt for him. And yet, I felt for Kin, too, because she was so damaged and she even knew it, she just didn't know how to get past it. Luckily for her August adored her and stuck by her side.

If you have been loving the Crescent Cove series like I have, then Kin and August's story is a must read. It's seriously sweet and swoony, and you will fall in love with August and Kin like I did.

This is book 8 in the Crescent Cove series and could be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the previous books before this one as you see most of those characters in this book. In this one we get Kinleigh and August's book! Kinleigh is best friend's with Ivy and August is Ivy's brother. They are both attracted to each other, but Kinleigh has always ignored it because she doesn't want to lose her best friend. A drunken encounter gives Kinleigh a pregnancy scare, but when it turns out that she isn't. She is heartbroken and makes a drunken offer that August can't refuse. But can they both understand how much they mean to each other and make things mean more than a fun time?

I absolutely loved this one! Kinleigh is this woman who has issues that resonate and make you hurt for her. But it also makes you understand some of the decisions she has made in her life. And watching her realize that she is worth so much makes it so you can't help but smile and get teary eyed. August is this phenomenal man who is willing to do anything and everything for the people he cares about. But he is also just this naturally good person. There wasn't anything that I didn't love about this man! Their chemistry was off the charts and there is lots of laugh moments, but it's just a naturally feel good story that sucks you in and keeps you wanting more when it ends!

They weren’t exes. August was Ivy, Kinleigh’s best friend’s brother. Crescent Cove is a postcard setting as a baby-obsessed, family town…influenced by procreation. Kinleigh is obsessed with keeping their relationship a secret at all costs and he is an unwilling participant in their dirty secret; accepting her terms to remain in her life.

“I care about you. You care about me. Right?” When she didn’t answer, I let my hand fall away. I’d been chasing this woman around both of our stores for weeks. I’d thought it was just because she was weirded out about Ivy and would get over it. “Hell of a way to tell me, Kin.” “I’m not trying to tell you anything. We burned off some steam, and we’re friends.” “Good friends. Friends who got naked once. I would love it if we got naked again, assuming you want the same thing.” She didn’t respond. I pushed a hand through my hair.

Why did I keep trying to beat my head—and other parts of my anatomy—against the brick wall of this woman? She was sweet and creative and sexy as hell, but there were other women who rang those bells. Other ones who wouldn’t make me feel as clumsy as an outcast high school kid trying to win a date with the homecoming queen. I wasn’t that guy. I had a great business. Supportive family and friends. A full life with, yes, women who would’ve been happy to go out with me. Or stay in. I’d even come close to wondering what life would be like with someone more permanent. The only problem was none of them were Kinleigh Scott. She rejected him so many times, a lesser man would have moved on.

Kinleigh is distant rarely letting down her guard except for moments of ‘sperm insertion’ duties.

August snagged my hand and drew me to a stop before I could get to the stairs. “Will I see you tonight?” I flashed a bright smile at him. “I just watched a bunch of baby ducklings sprint across the park. If that didn’t make me want to try to make a baby tonight, what would?” “Right.”

She placed far too much emphasis on procreation rather than developing their relationship.

MY EX’S BABY is the eight instalment in Taryn Quinn’s (Cari Quinn / Taryn Elliot) contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series focusing on the small town of Crescent Cove. This is furniture maker August Beck , and shop owner Kinleigh Scott’s story line. MY EX’S BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kinleigh and August) MY EX’S BABY follows the friends to lovers relationship between furniture maker August Beck , and shop owner Kinleigh Scott. August Beck has been in love with his sister’s best friend for as long as he can remember and sharing retail space finds Kinleigh always on his radar and on his mind. A one-night stand following Macy and Gideon’s wedding (Daddy in Disguise #7) meant getting up close and personal with the woman he loved but August never expected Kinleigh to push away any thoughts of a future until our heroine suggest a baby, together. What ensues is the building relationship between Kinleigh and August, and the potential fall-out as Kinleigh struggles with demons from the past, and the fear of losing her best friends in the process.

The relationship between Kinleigh and August is a friends to lover…there is NO ex’s baby so the title is a bit of a distraction. August is desperate for a relationship with our story line heroine but Kinleigh continues to be oblivious, pushing August away, yet pulling him in as she battles between head and heart. The back and forth is disconcerting to our story line hero-Kinleigh’s mixed messages begin to threaten her friendship with August as August begins to rethink their time together but Kinleigh has kept her past a secret, a past that continues to control her life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and flirty secondary and supporting characters including several couples from the previous story lines: Gideon and Macy, Murphy ‘Moose’ Masterson (Baby Daddy Wanted #5), Ivy and Rory (Rockstar Baby #6) . We are reintroduced to Sheriff Jared Brooks, and August and Ivy’s brother Caleb.

MY EX’S BABY is a story of family, friendships, heart break and love. The premise is emotional and inviting; the romance is spicy and sensitive; the characters are spirited and inspiring.

Totally enjoyed this read as well as the characters. Understand emotional baggage but have to say August was a saint and yet at some point too he too has to take responsibility for how much he CHOOSES to take or handle his side of the relationship. Kinleigh was walking in fear, past hurts, and the emotions of her situation she has never experienced ever or been given. You have to admit August wasn’t clear on his intentions after the wedding Rendezvous.

He only sounds like jumping in the hay was who is all she could be at the beginning so her in her head she naturally went to her past experiences. Her not being worth it. Communication would be good on both their parts but one is afraid to share out of shame and the other is out of fear of losing her. Kinleigh was more worried about losing Ivy than August. August should have sat down with his sister Ivy to explain he was in love with Kinleigh but he doesn’t.

They actively decide to create a baby together, practice hard to achieve this, some scenes hot, yet they don’t talk about their relationship and what it will look like if and when said baby appears. This is a real depiction of reality unfortunately of how a lot of people go into said non-relationships/relationships. LOL! Just because you don’t call it one doesn’t make it a reality of what just is.

So many what if’s. I don’t understand the title at all. Can someone explain that to me? Not someone reading the series happened to find this on kindle unlimited.

Sweet Romance

August had known Kinleigh for some time seeing that his sister Ivy was Kinleigh's best friend and had become a part of the Beck family since she really didn't have one of her own. Even though best friends no one really knew of Kinleigh's past and she wasn't a person to really open up to love and have people sticking around.

Now, August knew what he wanted and was going for it...if he could only get Kinleigh onboard with the idea. Kinleigh was afraid that if anything started with August, Kinleigh could lose her best friend.

Their story was funny, romantic and a little out of sorts and once started their chemistry was crazy. This book was fun to read and had me wanting for August myself. Well worth the read and I can't wait to see what comes next from this baby booming town!

I borrowed the 8th book in the Crescent Cove romance series, My Ex's Baby from the Kindle Unlimited Program.

Kinleigh Scott and August Beck work in shops they own in the same building; he build custom furniture and she as a unique shop full of refurbished treasures and although they often snip at each other they are good friends and always ready to help each other. He chases and she lets him into her life part way while keeping her secrets.

After a drunken hook-up at a wedding reception, they face an pregnancy scare and then Kinleigh asks August to try to make a baby with her. He wants more and she is afraid and keeps her secrets while being overly concerned about what her best friend, Ivy (and August's little sister) will think of them getting together. My Ex's Baby is full of emotion, fun and lots of hot seamy sex with a happy ending.

Crescent Cove if you come don't drink the water unless you want to have a baby or two. Wink. In this book, we get to know August, Ivy's brother, and Kinleigh her best friend a bit better. They share a building and always seem to be in and out of each other's places. August has a thing for Kin & she honestly does for him as well but is scared to act on it for fear she will lose her best friend her sister. This book is really good. I love reading about both of their businesses and yes their romance as well. I laughed at some of the things that Kin thought she was hiding from all the Cove group and of course in the long run it ... well read it and find out for yourself.

I read this in one sitting. Two if you account for finally having to put the book down to sleep. That’s how good this is. I couldn’t stop reading it. These two cracked me up. And the drunken phone call that’s starts this off, lol. Although if this town was real I’d say don’t drink the water lol. But I love to spend a few days there anyway hehehe

Okay, so I am a big fan of the Crescent Cove series by the lovely and talented ladies that write as Taryn Quinn. And, yes, I'm going to say it, MY EX'S BABY, the 8th (yep, 8th!) book in the Crescent Cove series, might just be my favorite so far. Do I say that after each book? Maybe, but, I have to say, August and Kinleigh really had my heart.

I mean, what's not to love here? A touch of the forbidden, quirky, lovable characters, chemistry for days, and a small town and friendly faces that we've come to know and love...yes, please. And, y'all, when I say chemistry, I mean the off the charts, get out the fan, pour a cool drink sort of chemistry that had me wondering where in the world August Beck had been all of my life. Talk about book boyfriend material, this man is it.

I adore Kinleigh, too. Trust is difficult when you've never had a solid example, but I can't think of a safer place to land than Crescent Cove. She scored big time in the friends that have become family scenario, and watching her get the life that she didn't even realize she wanted, well, this is the stuff of love stories, friends.

MY EX'S BABY was a quick read for me, simply because I could not put it down. Once I started this story, I was not coming up for air until I got to the very end, which was, in true Taryn Quinn fashion, exactly what I hoped it would be, but better. Are you getting that I just really loved this book? Yeah, so make a place for this one high atop your TBR, and for all of the others in the series, too, because they are just that good. But, wait, there's more, because, the ladies have more Crescent Cove goodness up their sleeves, and I can't wait. If small towns with characters that you wish you could hang out with, and love in the air and in the water are your jam, grab these. They will not disappoint. ❤️

Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 Captivating & Heartfelt!
My Ex's Baby
Crescent Cove, Book 8
By: Taryn Quinn
Narrated by: Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott Reckless Night

Crescent Cove is one of my favorite places to visit, I am loving this series and the great characters in this fictional town created by Taryn Quinn, two of my favorite authors. This book is Kinleigh and August’s story, whom we met in earlier book, Kinleigh’s best friend is Ivy, August’s younger sister. I adored both these characters, August is a sweet heart of a man, he and Kinleigh split a building, he established his business custom made furniture as well as restoring old pieces on the ground floor and she took the second floor expanding her vintage clothing business renamed to Kinleigh’s Attic. She has an eye for fashion and takes takes old pieces and puts new life into them, making it stylish and current. There is great chemistry between these two but Kinleigh does not want to cross a line with him for the sake of her friendship of Ivy. They wind up giving into their desires after Macy & Gideon’s wedding, he wants more but she is a tough person and has trouble letting anyone in. I loved how their story plays out, he was a patient man, I was afraid he was going to give up on her but thankfully he stuck it out. This book is beautifully plotted and there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, some charming humor, heartfelt and emotional moments and a friends to lovers slow burn romance. Taryn Quinn, thank you for another wonderful story, it was great to catch up with some of the other series characters too.

I listened to the Audible edition, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are talented narrators and voice artists. They are awesome at portraying the characters, bringing them to life, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. Wen Ross’ August was perfection sounding just as I pictured him to sound, a grounded, down to earth alpha male. It was great to hear him bring out his Irish again for Rory. Kai Kennicott’s Kinleigh was perfect too, you could hear her strength and determination as well as vulnerabilities. As always, their duet performance enhances the story another level, they grasp the chemistry between the characters and all of their emotions which is reflected in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

It’s finally here! I have been waiting with baited breath for Kinleigh and August’s story since reading Rockstar Baby. I knew these two were going to have some amazing chemistry. Now it’s time to kick back and enjoy their story.
I love that Kinleigh is a maker. She can see the potential in old, used things and breathe life back into them. She is driven in her work and in creating a successful business. It’s not easy, but to Kinleigh, the struggle is worth the effort. Plus, Kinleigh is no stranger to hard work. After being placed in foster care, she learned at an early age how to pick herself up by the bootstraps and overcome.
August is a super sweet guy that also has a drive to make his way in life. He comes from a good family that is there to support each other. He’s also used to hard work and following his passion. August is a fellow small business owner and a maker of beautiful furniture.
These two seem like they are a match made in heaven. August knows this. The whole town seems to know this. Everyone, that is, except Kinleigh. Why is she fighting their chemistry so hard? Kinleigh can’t seem to take a chance in her love life that would jeopardize the only “family” she has. The one she was able to cobble together for herself like so many of her attic treasures. While August would give her the moon and the stars, Kinleigh is unable to overcome her fears of losing it all by trying for too much.
It is beautiful, and hauntingly sad at the same time, to see these two people who are so right for each other keep missing the mark. Their chemistry is so off the charts that you want to shake Kinleigh up and open up her eyes. If she’s not careful, she will end up not only losing August, but the family she was trying so hard to protect. Luckily, this is Cresent Cove and all good stories end up with their own baby!

I absolutely adore Taryn Quinn's Crescent Cove series. It's one of my guilty pleasures! Small town, sexy men, strong women and babies, babies and more babies! My Ex's Baby fits in perfectly with the rest of this standout series and I couldn't help but fall in love immediately with August and Kinleigh! Along with the rest of the memorable characters that popped up throughout the story, these two were perfection.

August is Kinleigh's best friend's older brother. They share a storefront shop where August is downstairs and Kinleigh is upstairs. Day in and day out they work, often together to serve the residents in their community. I adored all of their interactions and it was evident from the start that these two were perfect for one another. August was dreamy----he had me swooning hard as he tried to win over Kinleigh. He's everything you look for in a romantic hero: strong yet sensitive, a gentleman on the street yet an alpha in the sheets, giving and empathetic and sexy as sin. I seriously loved him! Kinleigh has a past that has hindered her from moving on and finding her happily ever after. Her chemistry with August is intense but she tries to stay away for a multitude of reasons, including the fact that August is her best friend's brother. When these two finally give in, fireworks explode. They bring the sizzle and leave the place smoldering!!!!

Quinn writes the perfect story for these two characters. Everything about it was delicious and heartwarming. August and Kinleigh find their happily ever after and Quinn leaves us wondering about some of the new side characters. I can't wait to see what's next in Crescent Cove! 5 stars

It's not easy to say anything because of a twist not far into the book 😎
So, what can I say without spoiling? 🤔
I loved that there was so much about the couples from the previous books, especially Macy and Moose, and of course Ivy and Rory. Ivy is August's sister and Kinleigh's best friend. And there is so much about baby Rhiannon 🩷

Kinleigh had a difficult childhood and even her first years of adulthood weren't easy at all, especially when it comes to her ex-boyfriend. He is a huge jerk! 🤬
But she met Ivy and didn't just find a best friend, but also a family. Abd still her past is haunting her thoughts 😞

August is such a cutie. I loved how patient he was with Kinleigh. He had a crush on her for years and now he could have his chance...

This book is a mix of so much. There is always something to laugh about. There is all the 🌶️. And yes, there are the little heavier things about Kinleigh's past, but it's not dark, it's "just" sad.
And there were the scenes with the 🦆🦆🦆🦆 So cute and funny 🩷🤣

I would love to have such a friend clique like Kinleigh and Ivy have. And all the other girls. I know there are still a lot of single ladies and single guys in this town and some are drinking lake water 😎

The title of this book was very confusing 🙈 There is no ex. Yes, sure both have exes, but they have nothing to do with any baby, and August and Kinleigh weren't exes, too. So yes, I was a LITTLE disappointed because I had expected something else. But as you can see in my review, I still liked the book very much 🩷

The water in Crescent Cove strikes again. August and Kinleigh have been dancing around each other for the last few books in this series, and it's about time they got their HEA.

Kinleigh wants August, but the fact his sister is her best friend stops her from giving into what she feels. But August is feeling it too, and one fateful night they both give in to their feelings. Even though things are very steamy between them, Kinleigh still wants to protect her friendship with Ivy and so she pushes August away. A pregnancy scare is all it takes for Kinleigh and August to figure out what they want.

I really loved both of these characters. Kinleigh is cute and quirky, with a good bit of hippie-dippie that warmed my heart. Her reasons for keeping August at arm's length are basic. And August is just wonderful in that he never gives up the pursuit, even when it might have been the best things to do. It's the way he treats Kinleigh that had me falling for him.

It was great to see previous characters in the series too and the story works as a standalone. This is a very sweet series that is a must if you are looking for a romance revolving around babies, unexpected and otherwise. It's easy to read and light on the drama. It's all about the love!

Really like this story and this series.

An ARC was provided. This is my honest review.

Warm lips brushed along mine. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to haul him closer or shove him away. He turned me into the frame of the door, bracing one arm on the roof of the truck and the other around my waist. I couldn’t catch up. I couldn’t control it. I couldn’t breathe. Too hot. Too perfect. “Stop. I don’t want to ruin…” Everything. “Our friendship.”

I generally don’t read books from a series out of order or if they share similar titles. If each book has ?? Baby, I assume the author has no imagination and the book will be boring. So I sit here with egg on my face. A really enjoyable sweet angsty romance with a very patient hero. I fell in love with the characters from Crescent Cove, they’re quirky and witty. The storyline has an underlying poignant message with a HEA.

August was persistent and kept sending Kinleigh gentle nudges whilst letting her know he was very interested. However she didn’t trust anyone to stick around and learnt early on to look after herself. Ivy was the only person who’d given her a sense of family…she was the sister she wasn’t prepared to lose by letting Ivy’s brother come between them. Time stops still while she waited for the white stick on the vanity that holds the answers to her fate. Has she drunk too much of Crescent Coves water that holds the magic powers of fertility…if you ask the locals?

This was a good addition to this series in that Kinleigh and August's story had me hooked from the start. The pair seemed to be dancing around their attraction to each other until FINALLY giving in. Kinleigh has issues with her past - family and a fear of rejection making it hard for her to open up and take the leap with August. August deserves a medal of honor for his patience in his pursuit of Kinleigh especially after realizing what he wants in life. The pair together have amazing chemistry and strike up an agreement to try to have a baby together. Through out their story secrets are kept and feelings get hurt especially since Kinleigh is friends with August's sister Ivy, that we met in a previous book, and the pair never really open up about how they feel for each other as well as Kinleigh's issues with her past.
I really enjoyed this pair's story, even when I was frustrated with them and their actions. I thought that their story moved along well as it kept me interested throughout. I also enjoyed the return of characters from previous books in the series and being able to catch up with the happenings in their lives. Overall, I would recommend this book and this series to others.

I enjoyed this book for the most part, I loved August and Ivy and the baby. Kin was someone whom I liked, but I felt like she had waaaay more problems than she should have and wasn't thinking rationally for much of the book (babymadness aside).

*Spoilers*

Communication is key. Many of Kin's problems come from her 100% shut down in the face of relationships she cares about. August has fallen for her and when he tries to tell her even an ounce of what's in his heart, she stonewalls him like he walked in with a dead bird. She is so terrified, due in part to past trauma, that she can't even tell her best friend of how many years that she's in love. Heck, it takes her the better part of a year to be able to tell August that she loves him (ya know, after she's very pregnant and they're dating and the main communication problem is solved).

Throughout the book I kept thinking about August's incredible patience and Kin's amazing ability to mentally check out when she's terrified. I was frustrated for so much of the book (much of the beginning and middle) that the catharsis at the end was great. I do have to say that I'm glad her problems weren't solved all at once due to being in the perfect relationship.
