After finding out about the existence of shifters, Mark is forced to choose either death or to become one of them. It's an easy decision. He wants to live. But becoming a wolf isn't easy, especially when the man helping you through the change almost died because of your earlier actions.
Tavish has everything he could ever want in his life except his mate. It's the one thing that he's longed for, always searching for the scent of the wolf who is meant to be his other half. The last thing he expects when he comes home for a few weeks of relaxation with his twin brother is to find his mate living in the house.
Becoming a wolf is hard enough, but having a mate is more than Mark can handle. He refuses the mating bond, but can't deny the pull between them.
When Mark's past comes back to haunt him, it's Tavish he leans on, allowing him to fight by his side as he starts to move forward, leaving the past behind and working toward building a future together.

To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Mark accepts the bite that will change him to a shifter as opposed to death. This leads to him staying with Justice (the one that bit him) as he waits for his wolf. Mark has not had an easy life and he is struggling with all the changes. Then Tavish comes home (just in the nick of time) and realizes that Mark is his mate. As these two try to figure out their bond, future, and everything else, the emotions will be intense.
This is one of my favorite shifter series due to how real everyone is and the way that the author brings them to life.
Another gripping read from E M Leya's Terrin Pass Pack. I love the dynamics of these shifters and pack . Mark, once human, was conflicted and confused regarding the mating ritual. Tavish was patient with him, confident that it would happen eventually. Mark had insecurities and issues because of his past. Love this series.
I am always entertained by E.I'd stories and I was really excited about this one, but it wasn't what I expected. I have enjoyed so many book's by E'M/'s but not so much in this story I couldn't connect wth the characters and Mark got my last good nre.
The story can be read as a standalone book. This tale is complete and a bit complex, with a stubbornly reluctant MC who fails to see his own value. Surprisingly low angst even with his attitude. There is a good denouement and a positive HFN ending.
I really love this book I really love the storyline but it infuriated the hell out of me That it took the characters so long to finally reach happily ever after
