Very accessible. Kind uses simple, clear language and examples from pop culture to illustrate ideas, and effectively uses standard form to get at the core of various arguments. The organization is logical and straightforward and sections are clearly labelled with helpful headings. Speaking as a novice, I was happy with the breadth of topics/ideas covered, and I really liked the "further reading" recommendations at the end of each chapter.

Mind-bending.

Kind offers a condensed and accessible tour of the most essential theories in philosophy of mind and tastefully rounds out the more technical/academic jargon with plentiful sci-fi and pop culture references.
