Todd Wilbur's web site Top Secret Recipes and the subsequent books are fun. He concocts clones of many commercial foods and restaurant dishes. Some of them are right on the mark. Others are not so accurate. But just reading them to see what can go into almost accurate renditions of your favorite foods is quite entertaining in itself. This large book of recipes have enough to keep you busy for a while. I have made a number of foods from his earlier books but surprisingly none from this Treasury comprising of recipes from the books that came before. The problem is ...How many of these would you actually make? I cannot imagine anyone actually making Twinkies or Snickers. But there are some nice recipes of chain restaurant entrees that look promising. The first half of the book are store brought and fast food brands like the aforementioned Twinkies, Aunt Jemima's Maple Syrup, and quite a few for places like McDonalds, Carl Jr. and KFC. The second half are restaurant recipes including Applebee, IHOP, Chili's, Hooters and others. All are clones and not the actual recipes of the food you would consume at the restaurant. So, like I said, they can be hit or miss. Your enjoyment of this book will probably equal how much you like to experiment and play around in the kitchen.

I enjoyed this book not only because it had amazing recipes, but because it included tons of facts about how popular food companies started! The author gave many interesting historical facts about the food industry and how far it has come since ancient times. Even if you don't enjoy cooking I recommend browsing through this book to learn more about your favorite food.

I love this book, even though many of the recipes do not taste like the original. I have made the Wendy’s chili, Olive Garden minestrone, and the Applebee’s Oriental chicken salad from this book dozens and dozens of times. Those are some of my favorite recipes!

I've made about 10 things from this cookbook and all have been great. Amazing cheesy garlic bread, hot artichoke dip, creamed spinach, twix bars, club house grill sandwich and bruschetta recipes. Fun to reread every few months.

I use to have this book, never got around to using all the recipes. But what I did make out of it, was fabulous!
