✍✍I can’t rate this book highly enough. Deepak Chawla is a master writer, I haven’t been this impressed by a twist. If there is an award for creating high levels of tension, then An Author rightly deserves it. I could actually feel my chest tightening when I was reading some of the scenes in this book. Brilliant writing! ✍✍This book is really hard to talk about without giving anything away, I won’t say too much as I don’t want to spoil it for you but one thing I will say is that I really liked Edward, I think I have ever liked this character so much.
✍✍But this was what I really liked about this book, both the characters came alive on the page and For me, as well as an engaging plot, The language in the book is perhaps one of the most important bits, it is written with such rich and lively details, you have to have great characters who drive the story, they have to make you care about wanting to read the rest of the book and Lisa definitely has that in between you And Me with main characters. The story is told from both characters perspectives, when I started reading the book I thought I had made my mind up about one of the characters but as I got to know their history my opinion author them did slightly change. The auth kept me on my toes as I tried to work out what was going on and what was going to happen. Between You and Me deserves all the praise that it is othering. I also like to read other books written by Deepak Chawla. Soon I order a copy of his next book.

🌟 Between you and me is a combination of various emotions (love, power, psychology, friendship, rivalry, mind games, and suspense). It is divided into 38 chapters and contains 326 pages. The plot had so many twists and turns I couldn’t put the book down. 🌟
✨ So the book starts with the introduction of characters in a very unique way in the sense of connecting the characters with us. The first chapter introduces you with Edward, it is so well written that it makes you very curious and confused about him.
Then story further proceeds with the introduction of Jaydev and kajal in very unique way, narrating the depth of the characters with some very fine and connecting details which any one can easily relate.
When Jaidev and kajal's life crosses each other with a common connection with the corporate world of Tarneja Developers, the story puts up with a turns and twists you have never imagined.
The story revolves around the corporate world of Tarneja Developers in Uttan, the plot is set in Uttan town which is about 50 km from Mumbai and from here the story takes you to London. I won't go into spoilers, read the story and know yourself. ✨
✨ The author maintained the perks of this read which posed as an engrossing plot, utter twists which effectively delivered an important lesson to the readers. The narration is top-notch, the way he explains some complex things with such ease is really impressive. character development is good too and consistent throughout the book. The way he introduce every character in story is so unique,Jaidev’s dilemma and struggle from a small town struggler to a big corporate high flyer is beautifully portrayed which tells author is a brilliant storyteller. The emotions are very raw and I loved the realism showed by author. I appreciate the author's effort in doing lot of research and putting hard work. ✨

The narrative, which shows the corporate world's unravelling truth, is incredibly compelling.
The two characters Kajal and Jaidev are at the centre of the story. Any working woman may identify with Kajal since she is a normal metro lady.
The hardship of the female lead, Kajal, is highlighted throughout the narrative.
We're not just talking about one life here—many lives are involved in this drama, which starts in Uttan and concludes in London. Some couples' and singles' confusing and obsessive lives. They assert that they independently picked their respective courses, yet this tale of love, trust, betrayal, and anguish leads them on a lengthy trip. a voyage during which their lives is drastically altered.
I have never been this impressed by a twist, but Deepak Chawla is a superb writer. If there is a prize for generating intense suspense, then An Author is deserving of it. While reading some of the moments in this novel, I literally felt my chest constrict. Outstanding writing! I read this book a few days back and I am a fan. The storyline revolves around a strong and dark corporate world filled with drama and stuff that can certainly change the lives of the characters within moments. This is a very strong story of pain, grief, strength, truth, love and obsession.
One of my favorite character is Kajaal, a lead who is quite relatable, sturdy and a go character of the story. The story shifts from one setting to another which is done so swiftly and effortlessly which makes it more gripping and make things more connected. I think this book worked for me mostly because it has everything I was expecting, it has twists, a bit of drama and humour.

This is the first book I read which is written by the author Deepak Chawla. I really liked the writing style of the author. The novel is written in 38 chapters and it’s a long read. You can’t finish in one setting.
This book explains the change in life after entering the corporate world. This is a gripping story and won’t let you go off the track. This story can be related by many of the readers as I have listened a lot of stories like this in real life.
This book talks about the love( the centred theme), friendship, relationships, rivalry, betrayal, pain, emotional drama and a lot more. The struggles are well narrated. The story revolves around Jaydev and Kajal, a complicated relationship. The story is set in Uttan, near Mumbai.
The end is surprising. It totally amused me and I really read it as a ongoing movie. The places and the locations are living. The language is simple and easy to understand. The cover is unembellished and sober. I liked the title of this book,

About 50 kilometres from Mumbai, what was once upon a time a clusters of tiny villages had now grown into a large village called Uttan. Uttan offered a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
This story begins in Uttan and ends in London and we are not talking here about one life but many lives. Lives of some confused and compulsive couples and singles. According to them they have chosen their paths on their own but this saga of love, trust, betrayal and agony takes them into a long journey. A journey in which their life changes tremendously.
It is an inspiring and bittersweet tale about few individuals that metamorphoses into a whole new being after being touched by love and belief. Words aren’t enough to justify the emotions attached to this book. What a lovely story by Author Deepak Chawla. A friend recommended this book and I am glad that she did. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Things were getting complex not only in Uttan redevelopment plans but also the relationships were getting strained and the lives of Jay, Aditi, Kajal, Shikha, Sandy and Edward were getting complex day by day. This story revolves around the corporate world of Tarneja Developers in Uttan, a town in the outskirts of Mumbai. The plot of story is quite interesting as the there is love&rivalry, power&weekness, friendship, melodrama and corporate mind games. It’s a complete package that one can look out in a story.
The book has a typical Hindi Movie masala in it, the story line and plot is overall marvellous, the twists too are well thought out. Author Deepak Chawla’s writing is very simple hence I would suggest people to read it with a open mind who can accept what is happening in the story rather than taking it personally or with a critical approach. Happy reading 📖

Our path and experience is chosen by us but did whether they had chosen the right path or experience? Find out yourself after reading a series of events and happenings in their lives.
There are 38 chapters and 326 pages, each followed by a new twist in various emotions experienced by all these characters. Book is quite long so due to my busy schedule I finished it in 3 days.

"Between You and Me" by Deepak Chawla is a compelling tale of love, power, psychology, and suspense revolving around the corporate backdrop. The two leads, Kajal and Jaidev, are entangled in their relationships and end up forming the heart of the plot.
I am very impressed by the author's simple, lucid, and very easy-to-understand style of writing. A well-sustained story with so many shocks and turns to keep the readers at a pitch of anticipation.
One excellent example of storytelling, but also rich writing and seamless integration of characters: A fitting title for this story "Between You and Me."
In total, every page an unputdownable one; a must read if you enjoy complexity and unexpected reversals in corporate thrillers.

Between you and me is a door which will lead you to experience imagination and reality at the same time. Author talks about Love, Friendship and Psychology in the book. The suspense angle of this story is so engaging that one can't think of spending their time anywhere but reading this in one go. The climax of this gem is full of surprises and one can't miss it if they are into such kind of literature which includes love, passion and suspense/thriller.

When all.the emotions like love, friendship, melodrama and suspense came together, between you and me was made. The authors way of thinking is really fabulous and the grip of narrating every character is something one will enjoy most. When you will be thinking their is end, then it will twist its plot and leave you with shockers.

The story is narrated in a way that makes the story interesting. The twists and the plots were good! The philosophy narrated in between the stories were so apt and meaningful.
