Good fun story about being friends with a common enemy!

An interesting book with lots of alliteration.
Can be a bit confusing though.

A sequel to Kit the Cat - and very similar in execution.
In episode this Dig the Dog takes centre stage, and we learn about sharing.
Hasn't been as popular with X-man as the original.
It is also interesting to note that the illustrator's name appears on the cover of the book, while it is only revealed on the title page that Alison Maloney was responsible for the words. I've often seen it the other way 'round in children's books - but this is the first time I've seen an illustrator get exclusive billing. The only one close would be some of Eric Carle's books.

Enjoyable. My beginner reader son really liked it and felt a sense of accomplishment having read it.
