While all feedback is appreciated, this book had been edited by fluent French speakers including a native French teacher, 2 French university students, and a current college French professor. The book uses modern, conversational French that's spoken today rather than the more formal French often taught in schools. While some teachers prefer classical French, this book focuses on the French needed for today's real-world communications, as spoken outside of classrooms. Languages are ever-changing and evolving, and How to Cheat at French Verbs gives you the French you need for everyday life now. (Sorry, but incorrect, angry reviews drive me crazy. Surprisingly makes the learning of verb conjugation seem more straightforward. It works well in clarifying some of the things covered by Duolingo

As an intermediate French learner with an Associates Degree in the language, and someone who spent a year living in a French speaking country in my youth long ago- this was a great book to stay motivated to keep doing the work of learning, to laugh, and to discover new ways of thinking about conjunction. I think it’s ideal for those who have started to learn French but may feel intimidated by it. This book inspires and encourages at that moment when you might think of giving up. She is openly silly, but she is spot on with everything. I loved the tips on French culture!! All true!!

Amazing book. The end of boring grammar books with non-stop head bashing charts. This book is the ONLY way to cut through and learn French easily. She's got a new simple verb chart that is mind blowing. She just turned French into a super easy to learn language.

And it's a funny, unique writing style. The girl won a ton of writing awards and I can see why! Don't let French run you over, grab this book and take over French!

Fantastic. Amazing. Indespensible. Anyone learning the French language should really so themselves a big favour and stay from the rigid path of traditional verb drills and charts and just try this! Don't make it easier than it needs to be!
