Unmated omega Karson Jenks has already had three heats, but he’s barely twenty and too busy at university to ponder finding a mate. But all thoughts of planning his own future flee when someone he loves gets a devastating medical diagnosis. Their close-knit family rallies to support each other, and the last thing Karson expects is to stumble across his bondmate in a public lobby.

Alpha Rebel Lee spent the first eighteen years of his life as an emotional and physical hostage to brutal men, and he did his very best to protect his two adopted brothers from the worst of the violence. Two years after their rescue—and intense, in-patient psychological therapy—Rebel is a free man, eager to reunite with his beloved brothers, and to rebuild his life. What he doesn’t need is the complication of scenting his bondmate. Rebel has no job, no real education, and he lives in cheap government housing. What on earth can he offer an omega mate?

Karson is thrilled to have discovered his bondmate but also intensely curious about the Lee siblings. They aren’t blood related, have no birth certificates, and didn’t even exist on paper until two years ago. When Karson’s constable sire investigates further, the secrets he discovers rock both families to their core. With someone Karson loves dearly fighting a losing battle and Rebel terrified to step up for his bondmate, both men must learn to rely on each other to get through the most devastating week of their lives.

No stranger to the writing world, A.M. Arthur has been creating stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long. She credits an early fascination with male friendships (bromance wasn't a thing yet) with her later discovery of and subsequent affair with m/m romance stories. I really enjoy the books in this universe and See Me was no different. It has all the romance, angst, drama and love that I expect from A.M. Arthur, as well as a few surprises too.

Rebel and Karson are so sweet together. Rebel has been through hell, but his determination to care for his brothers (and eventually Karson) and to not let his past define his future, just made me root for him even more. His brothers Hyatt and Symon were wonderful characters as well and I really hope they get their HEA too.

I admit to tearing up quite a bit during the story, both happy and sad. There is a major health scare for a favorite from the Breaking Free series, and the Lee brothers also really tugged at the heartstrings. While the story focuses on Rebel and Karson, there is also the continuation of Peyton and Layne's story and yes, I need them to have a book soon too, but based on that jaw-dropping ending, I think it's going to have to wait.

I wouldn't go into this book without having read at least Save Me first. If you're a fan of the series, you don't want to miss this installment.

Holy mother of pearl. It’s started with Breaking Free and that series and it’s continued with the kids in this series. I thought Breaking Free would break me with all was going on, but this generation has its own set of difficulties and the omegins and sires get older and the kids are growing up. And as much as it wrings my heart at what’s going on, I couldn’t be more prouder of
how these kids have turned out.
In this one, it’s everyone’s story, obviously, but it focuses more on Karson, Jax’s oldest son. The one he escaped the fight ring with and was on his own with for a month. Karson is all grown now. 20, going to uni, and doing volunteer work to help pay back and pay it forward. What he didn’t intend to find when he went to volunteer that day, was seeing Hyatt and his brother, who is his bondmate. But after smelling the man and knowing just a touch of things, Karson ran. He called Hyatt back later so he could apologize to Rebel for leaving like that. He was just overwhelmed. What he didn’t count on either, was the full story of their pasts and how they are all connected. Especially when DNA tests starts rolling in. They are connected to the fight rings as well, their omegins having died. But when the police started investigating more, betrayals started rolling in and they couldn’t believe what was being hidden. When they found out it was a blow to Rebel, Hyatt and their other brother, Symon. Especially when Symon almost lost his life. And the sad part is, more blows are coming. But these guys, as always, join together as a family, bringing these new boys into the fold so easily. Now everyone just has to fight to keep going another day, one step at a time.
As in the other stories, as well as the Breaking Free series, this story deals with rape, starvation, tortures of sorts among other things. It’s not been an easy life for Rebel and his brothers. But after two years of being away, all he wants now is to focus on him and his brothers and them getting back together. Possibly living together. But meeting his bondmate, Karson, has thrown a wrench in the mix. All his doubts, fears and insecurities keep creeping up and he’s terrified. He never wants to hurt Karson and wants to be the best possible alpha to this sweet omega. But what he also didn’t figure, was by being Karson’s bondmate, he and his brothers just got an extended huge ass family that love them like they have always been there. It’s overwhelming at times, but he’s learning to accept it. As well as his brothers.
I love these new three boys. I love how they all intertwine. And although I HATE cliffhangers, I’m really anxious to see where book 3 is going to lead, because A.M. dropped a bombshell from hell on everyone at the end of the book. I love this series. I love seeing these kids all grown and flourishing. Even with the hiccups that happen, they keep pushing on and forward. They circle the wagons and stay together as a family. All of them. And now there’s three more to add to the mix. I love how Karson and everyone has been so patient with these three. They’ve let the boys set their pace on how to proceed and it’s been a hard but amazing journey.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.25 stars

See Me is the second book in A.M. Arthur’s Finding Free series, a spin off to her Breaking Free series. This story actually stands alone well from the first book in terms of plot; in fact, storywise is it more connected to the Breaking Free series in that the plot circles back to the omega fight ring. So being familiar with the first series will probably help fully understand things here, but isn’t necessary. But as with the first book, this series relies quite a bit on the large extended group of friends and family as side characters, so being familiar with this world is definitely a big plus.

This book introduces us to three really interesting new characters in the Lee siblings. Arthur gives us intriguing backstories on the men and develops them well. Given that so many of the books feature interconnected characters, I found I really enjoyed getting to know these new characters and watching their story grow here.

2.5 stars

2.5 stars rounded down. I’ve not read any of the books from the series this spins off from and I might one day because it sounds positively intriguing. And I usually like AM Arthur’s writing but this just seems rather amateurish, the writing 😳

I *might* read this next book because that last bit sounds interesting but the problem with this book isn’t the storyline. It’s more the execution, which for me leaves much to be desired 🙈

I really enjoyed See Me, fans of both the Finding Free and Breaking Free series are in for a treat with Rebel and Karson’s story. We see so much development in both of them, but Rebel stole a piece of my heart that I never want back as he battled everything he’d been taught to learn who he was and who he wanted to be. All three Lee brothers triggered my nurturing instincts and I felt like cheering with every forward step they took. Karson’s unwavering support, even as he struggled with all the stressors in his life, made me want to hug him too.
I loved getting a chance to catch up on everyone I’ve become so invested in, but there’s a definite bittersweetness that comes with seeing the characters who’ve already had to work so hard for their happy ending facing the realities of aging and poor health. There’s a distinct feeling of coming full circle that I could really appreciate as revelations about the trauma that brought this chosen family together surfaced. If this is your first journey into this world, I’d consider starting either series at the beginning - while the author does provide a family list (thank goodness!) and offer backstory reminders as we progress, there’s a lot of history that brought us to this point and understanding those nuances will truly make a difference in how you experience this story.

Wow! This book was so good! I love seeing where all of the kids are at in their lives! This book uncovers more of the past that the families in the past books/ series try to forget, but it helps heal some old wounds. I love seeing Karson finding his bondmate and am so happy that this big family who cares and supports each other through the various events that take place in this book. Highly recommend if you have read the first one!

This is a fantastic series. I intend to go back and read about their parents. This Omegaverse is horrible, but these found family, give everyone hope. I like how the author gives a listing of all the family relationships. There are a lot of moving characters in this book. The absolutely delightful thing is we learn enough about each character to make us, the reader fall in love with them. Karson, has already had 3 heats, managed by a heat nurse. He crosses paths with Rebel Lee and recognizes his bond mate. He is a thoughtful, sensitive selfless caring Omega. Rebel, is the older brother of Hyatt and Symon. They had a tragic beginning and an even more tragic youth. Rebel, did his best to protect his brothers at great personal sacrifice. He has recently been released from the psychiatric hospital. He has minimum skills, never worked, can barely read but has a willingness to learn and a commitment to be the best Alpha he can for his Omega bond mate. There are a few surprises, a few crisis and some good luck and Blessings. You really can't put the book down until you find out how it ends. The author does and excellent job keeping you glued to the book. The story lets you know all the ups and downs that go on in any family. Absolutely well done!

This series just keeps getting better.

A.M. Arthur writes fantastic blurbs for her Finding Free books so please read it. It's so hard sometimes to write a review for this series because of the potential for giving away too much but I'll try. First, you should know that this really is a series that needs to be read in order and that you will definitely be left wanting more at the end of this book.

I love how angsty the books in this series are and how much they make me feel things. A.M. Arthur knows just how to pull on my heart-strings and still give me the happy ending that I need.

Karson and Rebel have a lot of things to work through because of Rebel's past but Karson never loses faith in his ability to be a great alpha and mate. Rebel and his two brothers are a great addition to this very extended group of family and friends.

One of my favorite parts of this story is getting to know more about Layne and Peyton. There is a huge surprise that I can't talk about here.

If you were a fan of A.M.'s Breaking Free series I don't think you will want to miss this one.

Engaging story that will touch your heart.  I cried, laughed and was encouraged as these MC's stood tall after all of their challenges.  Their was heartbreak to deal with and loss to overcome, but they found courage within themselves and crafted a future together.

Rebel and Karson are so awesome together  I love this universe that this spin-off and the original series is based in.  We get the next generation and we still get glimpses into the past.   This story occurs in an A/O/B  Mpreg universe and it offers a good plot and lots of love and romance.  The story flowed well and i found i was engaged and reading to the last page with interest.

This is book two in the Finding Free series and should be read as part of the story sequence.

I was gifted this book from the author and i freely give my honest opinion and review.

This series just keeps getting better and better! After having read the entire Breaking Free series and up to this book in the Finding Free series, AM Arthur has created an omegaverse world that is comprehensive, intricate, and woven together in detail. Karson Jenks, an omega we've known since born, is now a young adult. He scents his bondmate alpha, Rebel Lee, while volunteering. Rebel is in recovery from a highly abusive childhood and not ready to commit to mating. Many challenges are faced by these two, as well as the entire larger clan of friends and family. Don't read this book when hungry. I haven't read a book with so many detailed descriptions of meals being prepared and eaten. Five stars if you've read both series!

So good!

I just love A.M. Arthur’s Omegaverse novels. The characters come up against some very toxic situations, and they struggle to recover from them but succeed due to the support from their friends and their own inner strength. This new series, featuring the next generation from the omega fight ring group, is shaping up to be as interesting and compelling as the first series. I eagerly await the next entry!

Outstanding!!

I love this spin off series as much as I loved the original... It's good to see all the kids grown up and finding their bond mates ... I also like how nothing is rushed no immediate pregnancies the couple's really are getting to know each other and establishing their lives... I loved Larson and my heart broke for the Lee brothers...And that epilogue floored me!! can't wait for the next book!!!

well dang

Good story that I wish we really got more from. It was kinda hard to really get know the characters with everything going on. I feel like we missed out just couple things because of other plots. I think it’s quite sad that the side characters get more smexy times then the main characters. What we got of the two was nice. I liked the hurt comfort of it all, just wish we learned more about them

Highly recommended

Rebel's only want in life is to reunite with his brothers and forget their horrific past. Karsen just wants his family to move on from the nightmare following a diagnosis for one of their own. Neither were prepared to meet their bond mate but when they do meet, together they can survive and grow stronger. One of my favourite books this year.

Brilliant!

Oh my, I have no words. This book was a rollercoaster of emotion. Laughter, fear, tragedy, love, support and hope. Karson and Rebel were wonderful, Karson was so very caring , understanding and patient with Rebel. Brilliantly written and the ending has me waiting with baited breath for the third book.

I knew when I read the first book in this series and didn’t cry that it was a fluke. No way was I getting through another one without tears! I love these characters and I love the author’s weaving together a story and a world.

It started off four stars, but then all these different plots started, clearly to be continued in future books and the "end" was sadly too fizzled.

4.25 Stars ~ An alpha traumatized by his past and an omega who only wants to help him heal are the heart of this second book in A.M. Arthur’s ‘Finding Free’ series.

Karson Jenks is the biological child of Jax Jenks and his first mate, although Karter has been his dad from the moment Karter stumbled across Jax hiding in an abandoned building in ‘Heard’. Karson is an omega and much like the other “second generation” children from the initial series ‘Breaking Free’, he has grown up surrounded by love, a ton of found family, and a wide variety of genders and pairings. Karson is a prime example of the beginning changes to omega rights and a province’s mindset. There is still much work to be done but this story is far more about events that happened twenty years ago. Events that this extended family can’t seem to get away from.
