In a world where magic is outlawed and those of supernatural ancestry are ruthlessly persecuted, mutations of past evils flourish in secret.

I’m not generally a fantasy fiction fan, however, I am glad I took the time to read this book. Price did an excellent job putting a realistic spin on this tale and I was left wanting to know what happened next. The story was well balanced between fantasy and real life human emotion and relatable situations. Well done.
