Beginners Guide

I just learned that the Cricut Maker is more advanced than my Cricut Explore Air. Right now I'm not using heavy material so it's ok. As I get more advanced I may get the Cricut Maker. When the pandemic started I decided to start making gifts for friends and family. I hadd to send everything because I couldn't visit. I have made totes, stationary, wall hangings and a few coasters. I wish I had this book first. It's been helpful now because it goes into detail about Cricut Maker vs Explore Air, Access and Design Space. If you're looking to start a business this book is a must. There are short cuts and tricks and mistakes not to make. I made a lot of mistakes but now am doing things correctly and more efficiently. This is the kind of book you should read before you start crafting with Cricut. I learned the hard way.

More than half the book is Cricut Air, even though it's called Cricut Maker for Beginners

Half the book is useless for the tool I have. Cricut MAKER not Cricut Air. Also, I need a better troubleshooting section. What to do when the machine eats the matt? What to do when it won't recognize a tool?

Beginner

This book was just right for me. I am thinking of getting a Cricut and this helped me decide which one. It is a fairly fast read but has lots of info. The one thing that drove me crazy was the poor editing. Anyone wanting to publish a book should know correct grammar.

Starter book for beginners

This book discusses in detail, different types of Cricut machines and what they do, and are used for. The author has some recommendations about their preference. She also talks about how to use the maker and projects to try.
