Never Forget Us

Rate this book
Jayden Baxter wasn’t my type but he turned out to be everything I didn’t know I needed.

It’s been five years since he shattered my heart. I have a good life, a fantastic son and a loving boyfriend.

The last thing I need is him throwing it into a tailspin once again.

But just like when we first met, the connection between us leads me to do things I never thought I was capable of. Things I’m going to regret.

The only problem…it’s not just about the two of us any more.

I’ll never forget us…what we had. But is it best left in the past?

Never Forget Us is the continuation of Tracy Lorraine’s steamy military romance series, Never Forget.

5 years after the events of Never Forget Him, Erin is living her life. She's got a boyfriend and a son. A son named Denny who is Jay's son; his son whom he'll never meet, because she figures (not really) that Jay's dead, since he never came back to reunite with her. Only, as she soon finds out, Jay is very much alive and living in the same town as she. Her body and heart have never forgotten Jay, she's still very much in love with him and attracted to him, even though he abandoned her.

Jay did come back for her, though, he just didn't show his face. He was messed up by what happened in Afghanistan, messed up physically, emotionally, and mentally. Only, he doesn't reveal this to Erin until almost the very end of Never Forget Us. He spends nearly the entire conclusion without telling her why he never showed up, and he expects her to just fall into his life as if he had never left, without explanation. Whatever...

And Erin was no better. She was thoroughly unlikable in this installment. I was hoping for much more from her. I didn't get to know her well in Never Forget Him, but what little I did see of her, she was a nice person. In this conclusion, though, she's quite frankly, a bitch. A cheating bitch no less. She cheats on her live-in boyfriend more than once with Jay, knowing full well it's wrong and that Alex (her boyfriend) is a great guy and doesn't deserve to be cheated on. I wanted her to man up and break up with Alex, then start with Jay on a clean slate. Not that Jay really deserved her or Denny. He's a pretty weak character, too. Sigh...I detested both characters. They were unlikable, weak, and just yuck. No redeeming qualities in either that I could see. That's why the 1-star. Not because it's badly written, because it's not. It's well-written, actually, but if I despise both main characters, I cannot possibly give it a high rating.

Well written story and nice storyline and plot. Well described characters with great chemistry. This is the second and last chapter of the Never forget series. Tissues was flying around at times and I was that captivated from this story. It has a lot of heart and passion.

I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are unexpected.

An amazing story that I will recommend to others. Read these two books they are worth it.

I jumped into this book without reading book one. However, it was easy to catch up with the story. I loved the story of Erin and Jay. It has heat, passion and emotion, you can’t help but root for them!! Jay has demons to conquer and Erin needs to figure out if Jay fits in her life again. Watching their story progress pulled at my heartstrings. You don’t want to miss this book!!

My word what an amazing 2nd book!!!

Tracy is undoubtedly one of my absolute top authors and there is nothing I don’t love about her work, her writing and her stories...Never Forget Us is an amazing 2nd book and I just loved how the whole story went...

These characters are absolutely amazing and you just know they have to be together, I was rooting for them throughout the whole story...and the ending is without a doubt perfect!

This book definitely hands down deserves 5 ⭐️ and one I know will be a brilliant series you can read again and again...really hope we get more from these characters cause I definitely love reading about them.

*Okay, I understand that a lot of people do not enjoy the cheating trope so that is why you may see lower ratings on this one. However, the cheating does not occur between MC's *

Other than that fact this book picks up 5 years after Book 1. I was personally happy to see that the characters were able to find their way back to each other! It's what I had been hoping for since the end of Book 1! While Erin could have handled how she went about it better, you could tell that Jay and Erin were meant to be the entire time!

I was completely gutted at the end of Never Forget Him. I understand what made him decided to do what he did to Erin but I was angry that he would be mad at her for what she decided to do with their relationship when everything came out. He took 5 years and pretty much wasn’t going to see her but she takes time for herself and he’s mad at her! Jerk. But I’m glad they got their HEA. WARNING mild spoiler: there is cheating so if that’s a hard limit, proceed with caution.

Ahhhh where do I start.... firstly I despise cheating in books and the fact that she did it more than once. I feel like the angst in the book could have happened without the acts of cheating on her part. And him just wanting to jump right into their physical connection without wanting to explain his absence over the last 5 years. I really do not feel for either of these characters. I will read the last book to see if they redeem themselves....

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book of the Never Forget series. In this book, it is five years later after Erin and Jay had their road trip which changed their lives. Erin is a successful jewelry designer and she is running her mother's gift shop. Erin is also seeing Alex and raising her son Denny. Jay never showed to meet Erin five years ago and everyone thinks he died in the war. Erin doesn't believe he is dead, but she knows he didn't meet her, so she thinks he changed his mind about loving her. Erin moved on and had their son and tried to be happy. When Erin thinks she sees Jay in a coffee shop, she panics and goes to Franky, who thinks she is seeing things. When Erin's car breaks down, Jay is the tow truck driver. Erin is furious at him, but she doesn't tell him about Denny. When They keep meeting, Jay tells her he wants to be with her, but she tells him it is too late. Jay is determined, but Erin feels guilty because she is seeing Alex and didn't tell Jay about his son. Erin knows she has to decide what she wants and she has to tell Jay about Denny. This is an emotional story and i love how they still loved each other. Jay was a strong man, but the war had changed him. I think he really loves Erin and knows she would still love him no matter what. I love their connection and chemistry. Great story.

Everywhere & Nowhere

Authour: Tracy Lorraine

"When my eyes connect with his again it’s like everything around me fades away and it’s just me and him."

“Where are we going?”

“Everywhere. Nowhere,”

Erin takes a huge risk in her life when she goes on a two-week road trip with a perfect stranger. No expectations, just a way for her and Jay to get away from their problems.

Two things for Erin to remember. One, whatever happens between her and Jay will only last two weeks. Two Erin promised herself she would never fall for a man in the military like her mom did.

You can imagine things get pretty Steamy for them during the two weeks.

Five years later and Erin is still thinking about the man that changed her life in only two weeks. But of course fate steps in when she is trying to move on with her life.

Everywhere & Nowhere

Here's the thing, I was a little worried this book wouldn't end in a HEA and I would be broken over it, but I should never doubt Tracy and I will never do that again. The final story I the Forget Me Not was everything I needed and more.

Absolutely fantastic

Wow! This book blew me away. The first book was great and so heart breaking that I wasn't sure what to expect. Every chapter just got better and better and I found myself holding my breathe hopping that this would be the chapter when they put the past behind them and loved each other.
The characters were so well written that they were so real to me, and their thought processes and actions so real. You couldn't help just falling for them and rooting that they got together. The love they experienced in the first book was beautifully written and left no doubt they were made for each other. The heartache that Bax went through in the army has really tormented him but he never stopped living Erin, but it stopped him feeling like he could be with her, it is totally heart breaking.
Knowing there is a third book made my day, I can't wait to see them being a family, finally. Healing each other with their love.

Fantastic writing yet again by Tracy Lorraine. Every time I read her book is they just seem so real and true to life, and it great having such great writing set in England in places I know and have visited. I can't wait for the next chapter.

After Erin waited all day for Jay to show up after his deployment was over she leaves a note on the bench and she walks away. Years go by and even though her friends keep telling her that they think he was killed in Afghanistan, Erin feels deep in her heart that Jay is still alive and just didn't want her anymore. Erin now has a son, Denny who is almost five and a boyfriend named Alex. While at a coffee shop Erin is sure she sees Jay at a table and ends up running from the shop. Grab this book today and find out what happens when Erin finally comes face to face with Jay after all these years. Will that spark still be there? Can Erin forgive him when he admits he watched her that day at the train station, but didn't go to her? Will Erin tell Jay about his son, Denny? What's going to happen with Alex now that Erin knows Jay is alive and back in town? This is the heart wrenching conclusion to this beautifully written story and you don't want to miss it. There is an epilogue coming out in late July 2018.

Erin has moved on since she never saw Jay again. She's with Alex now and things are starting to get serious.
I was so disappointed in so many things. The minute she see's Jay she pretty much is all over him. Then she goes home and tells her boyfriend its time for him to move in. On top of that she sleeps with him right after having sex with Jay.
Then when she has to return the car that Jay loaned her when hers broke down. She is all dressed up and it was described that Jay’s white t-shirt and pale jeans are covered in grease and grime. His hands are almost black, and he has smears all over his face, and yet they have sex and then her boyfriend picks her up and she doesn't have a speck of grease on her. Go figure.
I don't understand Jay's anger at Erin. He was the one who stood and watched her and walked away. He is mad that she never told him he had a son. When was she supposed to do this? How was she supposed to contact him. He disappeared, he could have been dead for all she knew.
The fact that Erin cheated on Alex instead of breaking it off before she started anything was a major disappointment.

What is Tracy doing to me with this series??? This book really pulled at my heartstrings as its filled with passion and emotion.

I started this straight from the first book Never Forget Him and I was desperate to know why Jay had not kept his promised to meet up with Erin in 6 mths, we are now 5 years on an there is so much pain in them that they can't communicate properly. Erin has struggled to move on and is heartbroken to find out that jay has been living in the same town as her.

Jay has come back from Afghanistan messed up, physically and mentally. When he does reach out to Erin he expects her to just pick up where they left off without giving her an explanation as to what has gone on.

I will be honest, I liked Erin in the first book but really didn't like her in this book. I understand her reasoning for why she does the things she did, the pain and fear she is living with is relatable but I struggled to connect with her.

That said I still loved this insatllment in this series. I would highly recommend these books and the fact that both books are out together means no waiting around for the conclusion which is a bonus

Wow I have no other word for this book.
I honestly didn't think Tracy could top book 1, but she proved me wrong. Tracy is on my favorite authors, if you read any of her stories you will understand why. Never Forget Us is an amazing 2nd book. I was so mad at Bax at first, then I was happy again, and then the next minute I would be crying. Honestly my emotions where all over the place in this book. I am so in love with these characters, you know these two are meant to be together. I having been pulling for them since the very beginning of the story.
This book honestly deserves more then 5*! I was pulled in from the very beginning and the story wouldn't let me go. I had the worse hang over after reading. Took me days to start another book, but Tracy's books has that effect on me. This is a must read, go get you copy now!

This book was frustrating. Erin didn’t even attempt to do the right thing and immediately gave in to Jay, multiple times before confronting Alex. Also, Jay became so unlikeable. Never having given a good enough answer for his disappearance in my opinion. Also, his anger with Erin for not wanting him to move in before Alex had even packed his things?!?! He was so selfish. He never gave a single care about Denny and the impact everything would have on him. Threatening to abandon Denny (I see a pattern here) if Erin doesn’t leave Alex? Goes to show he didn’t really care about Denny and it was all talk. This book just made me realize, that no matter what traumas Jay endured, he’s really just a bad dude. Loved these characters in the first book, but really disliked them both by the end of this one. Will read the next installment and hope there is some redemption for these characters.

Normally I hate cheating people, but Tracy write them well. Erin and Jayden still love each other. I think she is in a relationship with Alex because she want to move on. When she meet Jayden again, she know she's still in love with him. I don't like the idea of two timing but I try to understand Erin, she is afraid Jayden would disappear again and this time it not just her but Denny will hurt also. But after she know Jayden is out of military, I'm not surprise that she choose Jayden. By the way, Tracy make I want to read about Dean and Frankie story. And I'm waiting for Everywhere and Nowhere, Never Forget Epilogue too.

This story is filled with passion and emotion. It was easy to connect with the characters, all the pain, disapointments, emotions and angst felt real,
What did Jay expect though! I think he was being unreasonable.
Erin waited for him for five years with no explanation, the least he could do is give her the time she needs without getting upset about it.
They both went through many ups and downs
when they were apart, everything can't just snap into place because he say so. A rollercoaster ride of emotions for a second chance at love!

Good stories like this, makes me too impatient the wait for the release of the next installments to get my ending. That is why I like my stories to have it's ending in one book. I am happy I have all three books to read now.

What can I say? This book is part 2 in the Never Forget series and was at once lovely and heartbreaking. There are no bad guys in this book. There are just hurt people trying to navigate their way through life. My heart went out to Erin and Jay (Bax), but it also broke for Alex and Frankie. There is so much beauty in this story, but it doesn't come without pain. In this way, it is probably one of the more true to life stories I've read in a while. I love this series and am eagerly looking forward to the third installment. I highly recommend this series and this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is the second part of Jay and Erin's romance. Five years ago Jay took her heart when he went back to war and didn't return as promised, in this book we learn what happened and how the old lovers returned into each other's lives. Unfortunately Erin has tried to move on since Jay but she has never given her heart to anyone since him, now she needs to decide what or rather who she needs in her life, the man who has her heart or the man filling a hole. Unfortunately she doesn't go about it the right way, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. I couldn't help but root for Jay.

I loved it!

Never Forget Us (Never Forget series #2) by Tracy Lorraine is the conclusion to Never Forget Him and begins five years later. It's an emotional reunion, Erin and Jay have both changed so much since they were together, as have their lives. But can Erin get over the anger and hurt of Jays betrayal, and what will happen when Jay discovers the secret she's been keeping from him?
I loved the changes the years had brought to these two characters, they're world weary and so relatable. I loved it and can't wait to read Everywhere and Nowhere, the epilogue to this fabulous series.

One clicked after reading part one in the Help Our Heroes Anthology, this is the second time I have done this after reading Tracy's contribution in a set. Honestly her story just captivated me and held me. The pain and angst of the characters felt real, the struggles they went through together and apart. For Erin the choices she has to make broke my heart, not easy when it is like it is in this story. I am now impatiently waiting for the release of the final installment to get my ending. In the meantime I shall finish the anthology. So worth the 5 stars.

This story had a lot more turmoil than the first book. There was a lot of back and forth and drama with the characters. A few times my heart broke for all involved in the situation, Erin, Jay, and Alex. I am glad that love overcame all the obstacles and they ended up together. The only thing that could have made it better is an epilogue so we could see a glimpse into the future. As with the first book, I highly recommend this book, this entire two book series!

This is a beautiful story about second chances in this steamy military romance. Erin, our feisty heroine was very endearing and so easy to like. Jay, our hero, frustrated me at times but there was no doubting that they belonged together. A fast paced action packed romance with twists and turns that kept me entertained from beginning to end. Written by Tracey Lorraine who proves just how good a writer she is in this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

Wow, this is the second book I've read by this author and the second in this series. This book is just as good as the first and I loved the storyline and the characters the same. The chemistry between Jayden and Erin is just as intense as in the first book. The book is fast-paced and well- written. I highly recommend this book. Can't wait to see what the author will come up with next.

This was a wonderful story I couldn't out down staring with book one and continuing throughout this book. Jay broke Erin's heart and even though she has moved on she never stopped loving him. This is a well written story of love, secrets, and acceptance. I love Frankie and Dean. They are good friends to Erin and Jay. Highly recommend this story.

This is the second book in this series. I loved this entire story and was hooked from beginning to end. I think the story deserves more than 5 stars. The author writes in a way that had me deeply involved with the characters and their story. I was very happy to read that the characters can overcome tremendous issues to fight for and then achieve their happy ever after.

This book is a mix of pain, betrayal and redemption and is such a beautiful emotional read. I will say I did not like both main characters when I reading the book but they do win you over. They each try to move on by things do not always go the way we want them to. There are parts of this book I did not agree with but that is me and that was the storyline.
