This book lit my kindle on fire! Not only was it sexy, steamy and dirty, I also got caught up in my feelings! Oh my hell!!! Dr. James is freaking hot! I wanted him to spread me open on that exam table and be examined. Thoroughly. Everywhere. Don't even get me started on his assistant Andrew. HOT DAMN! Those scenes were explosive!!

Well hot damn, ‘The Doctor Will See You’ was a whole new level of delicious smut. It's been a long time since I've read an erotic novella that didn't have me rolling my eyes or cringing. No word of a lie this was fucking hot and I will promise that ice baths between chapters will be required. I, Lana Blasen, understand Dr. James Lubton is not a medical doctor, and any medical advice that he gives will be ignored.
I believe by far this is the hottest and dirtiest book that I have read this year!
...And it is the last book I have read this decade.
Both of the main characters are mature, between 40 and 50. And although it is a short read, it is quite packed with steamy sexy scenes and the character development is adequate.
“Were you looking for a full exam?” he questions, and I remember Jessica mentioning to request such a thing. I nod, and then recall he can’t see me.
“Yes.”
“And will your husband be joining you?” I blink down at the napkin, pinched between my fingers.
“I don’t have a husband.” Silence falls again, and after another weighted second, I ask, “Do I need one?”
A soft chuckle fills the line, reassuring instead of mocking. “No.” Pause. “But may I ask if this will be your first exam of this sort?”
I absolutely loved it and I am looking forward to the next book in the series "When the Handyman Comes", although I am not sure that it could reach the steaminess of the first book.

I loved this story from new to me author Lana Brazen. This was a short, steamy passionate read that had me riveted from the start. This was a well written story, with characters that were easy to relate to and over 40, which I loved.
There were moments of humour which had me laughing out load and the chemistry an d passion within this book was smoking hot. I found I really liked the heroine Lana Blasen, a divorcee who is unsatisfied with life and dating in particular and our hero Dr. James Lubton. James ticked the boxes for me and I found him a great character. His friend Andrew was just as hot and swoon worthy.
Although this book is about pleasure, there is so much more to it. Lana and James have a connection that is soul deep and I loved how their relationship developed by chance.
This book may well test your boundaries, but it is so worth it. A steamy little gem that I loved and I cannot wait to read more from this author.

This was a story which was, at once, clinical but highly erotic. It was an exploration of a woman's sexuality and self-discovery aided along by a man who remained seemingly detached, until her effect on him starts to crack through his aloof demeanour.

I was wholly intrigued by this story and what would happen next. Lana was open and willing, if somewhat trepidatious, in her explorations. She was pretty brave considering she was putting her trust in a complete stranger. James was something of a mystery that is unraveled towards the end of the story, but there's no denying that Lana and her personal journey is the star of the story.
This was a thrilling and rather exciting story and just enough of a quick read between longer novels. Looking forward to the next one in the series!

This book is not for the faint of heart. You will get burnt when you read this one because it is so hot. It is for mature audiences only - jam packed with sexy silver adults. Lana is looking to fill a void in her life. Over 40, divorced, children are grown, she needs pleasure with out the pain a relationship can bring. When a friendly stranger recommends Dr Lubton and his unique expertise, she doesn't know whether to run and hide or stay and finally enjoy some of the pleasures life has to offer even to those of the more mature set.
I will tell you that this story did test the boundaries of my normal reading range. However as I am of the over 40 audience, it did touch on some of our secret desires. Please read with this in mind. Ok, so this wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read but it wasn’t the worst either. The writing was great the plot was good but there wasn’t much to the story.

Though The Doctor Will See You is short, it's not lacking in much. It's a fully developed, well-rounded and seriously steamy romance. I love that Lana and James aren't in their 20s, are experienced in life and just finding the love of their lives. If you want a short but awesome love story that has enough steam to light your Kindle on fire, The Doctor Will See You should be on your TBR list right now!

Dr. James Lubton has a very unique specialty. Does he have a degree for real? YES! But it deals with other parts of the anatomy. His "unique" specialty is one just right for women who want to "swing" with no attachments or complications. He will see you by referral and appointment ONLY. His bedside manner is gentle and supportive. He is a gentleman after all! If you want an assistant present, he is more than willing to accomodate your needs.
If you were in your forties and recently divorced, wouldn't you want to see this doctor for what ails you? Loved this book. Steamy and sweet, be prepared with an open mind!

Oh. My. Gawd!! First time reading anything by this author, and I don’t overly know why I picked this book up because it is not something, I usually reach for but I cant explain how thrilled I am that I did! Quick, dirty, emotional, great characters, so perfect. I flew through this as soon as I opened it, I could stop I was so intrigued by the plot and what the doctor could offer Lana in a time that she was floundering after a divorce and needed to explore to find what she wanted and needed in life. Throughout the story it was obviously stated emotions should not be in the equation between James and Lana because it was not about a relationship just the physical aspect however it was clear as the story moved that Lana was struggling with keeping her emotions in check and no matter how Jason tried to stay unattached you can feel his need to be with her without the roleplay pretense. I never expected a short novella such as this to hold so much heart and grab me like it did. I loved this book so much; I will be going back to this author again for sure to read more!

The story was definitely unique - and it shows that just because a person gets older, doesn't mean they lose their need or drive for intimacy - especially in ways that aren't the norm. If you are looking for something short, sweet (well actually now that I think about it...not sweet at all lol) and PURE PLEASURE...and I do mean...truly, purely pleasure (I hate to admit how turned on I was lol), then this is most definitely the book for you. It's not being presented as anything other than the erotic journey that it was and I think all of us who are already up there in age, can wish and hope there is a James out there waiting for us should the need arise! While talking to a complete stranger who suggests she contact the ‘good doctor’, Lana’s world is turned upside down. Only problem, is it lust or love she’s feeling? Lana just knows she wants more.
First let me say: LAWD HAVE MERCY!! I should not have started to read this book at work. I swear if I had an office, my windows will be steamed over. My heart was racing. My blood pressure was high. The visual context was excellent and I knew I just had to finish it when I got home.
Be forewarned, this book is for mature readers (it’s erotica so don’t blame the author if you already have high blood pressure because it WILL spike while reading this).
I knew about the hype of the ‘50 Shades of Grey’ novels and I never jumped that bandwagon to read them. But I bet this novel is 150% better. Not trashy. The writing is beautifully written. And now I’m lingering in my house being jealous of Lana.
Now please excuse me while I pry open my husband’s eyes to read this for some pointers.

First let me say: LAWD HAVE MERCY!! I should not have started to read this book at work. I swear if I had an office, my windows will be steamed over. My heart was racing. My blood pressure was high. The visual context was excellent and I knew I just had to finish it when I got home.
Be forewarned, this book is for mature readers (it’s erotica so don’t blame the author if you already have high blood pressure because it WILL spike while reading this).
I knew about the hype of the ‘50 Shades of Grey’ novels and I never jumped that bandwagon to read them. But I bet this novel is 150% better. Not trashy. The writing is beautifully written. And now I’m lingering in my house being jealous of Lana.
Now please excuse me while I pry open my husband’s eyes to read this for some pointers.

OH. MY. GOD. YES! This novella was 89 pages of PURE FIRE!! I saw a recommendation for this book and I am so glad I did. This is my first story by Lana Brazen and I think I'm going to have to look into more. Because WOW was this story HOT! Keep some ice water on hand and prepare a cold shower. You will need one if not both after The Doctor Will See You. I may only be 29 but I loved the fact these characters was older. It was unique and satisfying. I can get down with some silver fox love. The blurb hits the mail on the head. This is nothing more than a erotic journey. Both these characters tested eachothers boundaries and brought out their wild sides. I loved this story wasnt lacking in the feels. It has just enough to keep things nice and balanced. I look forward to more with the spin off coming in Febuary. And HELLO bonus scene at the end! That extra content was sinfully delicious and a pleasant surprise. I give the author huge kudos for nailing this erotic, tastefully written story!

Well earned for this mature, melt the pages off your kindle fast paced read. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!

This story is fast-paced and I couldn't put it down until the very end. The exquisite details of the appointments that Lana keeps with the good doctor is breathtaking and left me gasping and cheering her on!
I was delighted to see this author go a bit naughtier and carnal, yet keeping with her style and flow of her other works just makes it even better! I loved these characters hard and loved the fact that the characters are older. Both Lana and Dr. Lubton have the maturity, yet have a chemistry that would rival couples that are decades younger!
I cannot wait to read more stories from Lana Brazen!! Keep them coming and keep them hot! Well done!

Well, actually an alter ego counts but a great introduction to this new genre for a favourite author of mine and what a smokin hot introduction it is.... I mean 5 alarm hot!!!
