Mister #1-7

The Mister Box Set

Rate this book

For the first time ever the complete seven-book set of the USA Today bestselling series is available in one download! More than 1500 paperback pages.

Mr. Perfect – Ellie is the “ridiculous” girl in the office. She’s smart, funny, pretty, popular, perky, and… what does she do again? Oh, yeah. Ellie is the “celebrity concierge” at Stonewall Entertainment. She’s good at it. On most days. Just... not the day her new boss, McAllister Stonewall, shows up and catches her secretly sexting in his debut executive meeting. Hilarity ensues and, well, let the sexy-times roll.

Mr. Romantic – Ivy is the “preacher’s daughter”. She’s desperate for a job after just graduating college when a sweet opportunity comes in from the infamous Mr. Romantic. Ivy knows who he is. All the Misters are infamous from a media-frenzy college scandal some years back and everyone knows Mr. Romantic was the one who “did it”. Nolan Delaney might be deliciously hot, but he’s got a dark side lurking under that charm. And when I say dark I’m talking depraved.

Mr. Corporate – Victoria is self-made, super-competitive, and drowning in debt when she finds herself battling with her ex, Weston Conrad, for a job. She was there when the whole college scandal went down at Brown University and she always knew Weston was innocent. But there were other things happening that night. She moved on because the two of them were never going to work. But now Weston is back and somehow he brought all her old secrets with him.

Mr. Mysterious – Cindy is a girl who goes after her dream no matter what and she set her mind on her brother’s best friend, Paxton Vance, a long time ago. She does not give a crap about the best-friend’s-little-sister rule. And sure, they call him Mr. Mysterious for a reason. He’s a “Hollywood fixer”. He handles all the celebrity mistakes in LA. He’s dangerous, and moody, and probably shouldn’t be drinking whiskey for breakfast. But lucky him—she’s willing to be his partner. So what if Pax thinks she’s delusional? She’s one-hundred-percent confident that Mr. Mysterious can hold his own against her brother, Mr. Match.

Mr. Match – Katya is a girl with secrets.  Is she a Russian spy? A liar? Or just a lost girl who fell in love with the wrong man? Meeting Oliver Shrike, AKA Mr. Match, four years ago changed everything. Who knew fate would intervene just when all hope was lost? But she should’ve known better. Because now Oliver’s billion-dollar dating site is the next target. The final piece of the puzzle in the Mister end game and she’s right in the middle of it. But maybe… just maybe… she can do something about this? Maybe she can save him, even if she can’t save herself.

Mr. Five – Princess Rory has been in love with Five Aston her entire life. And he’s been in love with her.  They are best friends. They are childhood sweethearts. They are the definition of soul mates. Nothing can ever come between them. Except Five is over-protective. Five thinks she’s better off without him. Five thinks he’s doing her a favor by keeping her away from the secrets and scandals he’s a part of. But Rory Shrike wants her man back. And not even the genius brain of Mr. Five will stop her.

Mr. & Mrs. – Mr. Perfect, Mr. Romantic, Mr. Corporate, Mr. Mysterious, and Mr. Match found what they were looking for and now it’s time to seal the deal. Five Aston hasn’t quite found his happily ever after yet… not quite. But he will. And he’s about to host the party of the century for all his family and friends.

If you loved Happily Ever After, you can’t miss this one either. It’s the delicious cherry on top of the most perfect dessert and all your favorite characters will be back for one… final… swoon-worthy story.

J.A. Huss

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.

These 7 books were fantastic.. All of the Misters were so interesting to read about and seeing how they were never close and now at the end of the books all the Mr's and Mrs are like family made the whole series amazing.

Not to mention Pax and Five 😍 lol. The last book made my heart laugh and so content because of how it all wrapped up.

I had already read Five which is not so much a prequel to this as the follow on to Rook and Ronin.

For the Misters, they are an odd combination of rom-com and suspense with a bit of kink in the steamy bits.

Mister Perfect - 4.5
Mister Romantic - 4
Mister Corporate - 3 (I'm not a fan of enemies to lovers or protagonists who are nasty to each other)
Mister Mysterious - 5 (easily the most creative of the lot. A role-playing fixer and they youngest Shrike who likes to narrate her life as it happens)
Mister Match - 4 (The heaviest on the angst)
Mr & Mrs - Nice rom-com wrap-up for HEAs all around.

Okay read

I really was looking forward to this set of books. That said the first book for me was the best, didn’t like the second at all and the final book was a mishmash of all the couples which didn’t flow for me. Hence the 3 stars. Was okay but not as good as the first book.

Let me go book by book.
Mr. Perfect: He's was the 1st and my favorite. There was just something about him and his playfulness with Ellie. When things went down, he was still there for her. For him, I enjoyed everything that started the Mister series. This book pulled me into it. Butter.. That's all I got to say.. Mac is perfect ladies. In every way. When you want to not like him for whatever reason, you can't. He's just that perfect. You'd want him for yourself if you love the funny, semi romantic, I'll do anything for you type of guy. He's perfect, but ... He wasn't my favorite as I continued.

Mr. Romantic:: Nolan, at first I wasn't sure about Nolan. He seemed too good to be true. Ivy on the other hand was pure as the day she came out of the womb. Throw in the Misters past, along with Claudette, Nolan's sister from another mister, and you got one heck of a story. Believe me, this one was more exciting. Then.. Oh my, talk about a little twist to the darker side of Nolan. It wasn't bad, but he has one creative mind, aka Julie, but let me tell you, if you've read other books, this was just a sneak peak, nothing to get your panties in a bunch with. Even though Nolan could be your dark and kinky prince in this series... He beat out Perfect with his dark side for me, but that's okay.. He still never became my top Mister.

Mr. Corporate: Weston Conrad is different. In a different kind of way. Although he seems sexy, he's too career minded for my liking. That's okay for me, because West is one of a kind in my eyes. There is no one like him. He's a a great business man. He's got one hell of a secret, but he's a decent guy, or is he? Tori, lord, I want to ring thatB@#%$% neck so many times. She was just cocky, and all that. Not my favorite Mrs. In this series. I still don't care for her, but then again, Corp was probably my least favorite Mister. And again, I don't know if it was them together or what, maybe if Tori was different I'd like him more, but since she's Tori.... He's certainly not my favorite.

Mr. Mysterious: Paxton Vance is the MAN! At least in my book. Now, he's up there as one of my favorites. His personality is EVERYTHING! The way Cindy and Pax just get each other, you can't help my giggle and smile as you read their story. Yes, there is more to them than their hot sex scenes, but these two can take over the world in such a way, you want to follow their every move. Cindy, being Match's little sister, is after Pax, and when everything comes to face, the story just gets better and better. She's what Pax needs. Believe me, these two can heat up a scene with their crazy antics and sex scenes.. Isn't that right Miss Cookie? LOL

Mr. Match: Oliver Shrike. Oliver is what you call the man you fawn over. In his story, everything comes to face. You get way things are happening with their past and why everyone who has come into their lives is connected some how, way, shape or form. This whole story has so much to give you, you will be hooked on the plot like the rest of us. If you're like me, you're trying to figure out who is connected to who and why. It's a mystery to be solved. Oliver and Katya, will bring everything to face for you. Believe me. This old flame is now burning brighter, even though your heart breaks at a time when you know Katya needs everyone in her corner. Also, Ariel Shrike, although she doesn't have her own book, that C*&^(*& needs her own series, she could sell millions. She's nice, but evil, there is a dark side to her. We need it. Believe me.

Five: Five Aston is the man of the hour. This book takes you back when him and Aurora Shrike were little. This story tells you so much. I read it after The Misters, since it was part of this series box set, but honestly, it could be read at the beginning. Why? Because it will flow better. I personally didn't have a problem with it being towards the end. I thought it was perfect to me. Rory and Five are destined to be together. And while you were trying to figure things out in The Misters, Five gives you a big heads up on what to expect. The CULT of all Cults. One of my favorites.

Mr. and Mrs. : This book takes place a few years after the Misters series. Five and Rory live on a secluded island with their four girls. Each Mister is heading there for a big event. Family is welcome and of course the Paps are circling over head.

Mac and Ellie are dealing with trying to have a baby, and Ellie is just sad as all get out about not getting pregnant. It takes Mac to make this special weekend one of the best for her. That includes a date day that takes them on an adventure through a cave that will have you peeing your pants with laughter. But not as much as Nolan.

Nolan and Ivy arrive with their little daughter Bronte. She's six and Nolan is trying to figure out how to be a girl dad. He's in for a rude awakening when Five's youngest girls take Nolan for the adventure of his life, when all he wanted to do was spend a day with his wife. That never went as planned, but once you read Nolan, the laughter begins and everything is just too funny. Louise and Mathilda make his take on this story one of the best. Swimming pigs, mud and bad aim, make this hilarious.

Weston and Tori arrive with news to share, but don't because of Ellie. Ethan, their adoptive son is just like the Misters. West sees it and talks to Ethan. He's a giver and a caretaker. All these two want is for Ethan to be a kid. It takes some honest and patience from West to make that happen. Their story isn't has hilarious as it could be, but then again, Weston becomes a better man in this story and it's makes him all better. While I'm still not a Tori fan, she finally understands where West is coming from, it just takes Ethan to explain it.

Pax and Cindy. Lord, where to begin.. These two crack me up. If you liked their little role play in their own book, this is just going to get even better. Cindy takes date day to an all new level when it comes to Pax. She's got him chasing her around the island with little clues. Detective and Miss Cookie make that day one hell of an adventure when it comes to them, throw in Golden Balls, a mini dirt bike 5 sizes too small, and a man with a massive hangover because of what he did, and you have one epic story from his POV that will have you laughing your butt off.

Oliver and Kat have something to take care of. While Kat has no family left, Oliver is seeing his sister Rory for the first time in years. She was supposed to stay hidden. Ya know the whole Silver Society BS? Anyways. He was always blaming Pax for taking Cindy, when in reality, he should be mad at Five. It takes Kat to confront him about his anger towards Pax and not Five. At the end, it all works out. Crap happens to these two, but in a funny, and heartbreaking way. Don't worry, it's kinda comical.

Five and Rory: Rory is ready to live in the real world. Five wants to stay hidden. When he tries to take the opportunity away from his twins, Rory puts her foot down. She's not going to let him control everything anymore. It's time. HE does everything in his power to keep things the same, that is until all hell breaks loose.

Let me set the scene: Private Island of paradise. Five's island. Pigs, kittens, angry relatives, situations that need sorting. Guests that shouldn't have been there, but were invited and now the Paps are getting everything on video for the whole world to see because of one person. Fists fly, accusations are thrown in the mix, and one Bombshell puts her foot down to let everyone know how she feels.
In the end, everyone gets what they want, and it's all for the right reasons. This is my favorite book, but not in the way you think. Pax, Oliver, Five, Nolan, Mac, and West all have a place in my heart. But after this story. Nolan moved up a few spots. I promise, this is one of the best I've read.

Not my cup of tea

I kept forcing myself through the repeated humiliations of the h…mostly caused by the H.
The h was quite likable. The H was just a huge horse’s hiney.
At the end of their story is a page the writer chose to include, she called something like ‘The end of the book s***.’ I had never heard of this before but here it is. It describes this horse’s hiney as a ‘damaged male’, or something similar.
I find I don’t like my heroes to be ‘damaged’. Or certainly not as damaged as is the case here.
In a few words, this was abusive, borderline rape, humiliation, force, and blackmail, all wrapped up in porn.
And that was only the 1st book.
Clearly not what I want to read, or would recommend. And I won’t bother reading the rest of the series.

Where do I start?

The last book is the only one worth reading. Good gawd, it was like the series would never end. The overall plot was inventive, and the last book ties up the narrative, but I hated every character. I’m all for a good sex scene, but most of these were just gross, and the twists in each story are eye rolling. I’ll try this author again, but if it hadn’t been a boxed set I would have stopped purchasing after the first book in this series.

Barely made it through Book 1

Seriously, I don’t know how I made it to the end of the first book in the series. I had to stop reading because I knew I could not read the rest of these books. The plot line for Mr. perfect was not good. I just cannot see reading anymore of this stuff, because there was no sense of a decent storyline at all.

Mr Perfect

Ellie is good at her job but she also loves a little fantasy and so texting weird and so sexual things to Heath about their relationship and home and family is nothing new. Except she isn’t dating heath, nothing really exists and he isn’t getting her messages. When the new boss starts, she gets in a right pickle when she realises it’s heaths brother, Mac and he has been receiving all her messages!

You find out how all the Misters are connected and it’s an interesting story!

Some funny moments but wasn’t keen on her slut shaming when she legit starts an office romance on the first day she meets him! Also he was a bit of a douche!

Mr Romantic

Nolan lives up to the hype. Wanting to build a better career, he is looking for help marketing his new hotel so when sweet, innocent Ivy, a new graduate gets an invitation to interview for a job she doesn’t have experience for, it’s a little strange. It doesn’t deter her though even if there is attraction. She had no idea what his past has done to him but when he reveals the darkness will she be able to accept it?

The past is not forgotten though and it seems all linked between the misters

Nolan again was a douche but I liked ivy

Mr Corporate

Weston and Victoria know each other from before. They dated off and on and have a love hate relationship. She’s given a secret tip which will mean competing with Weston for a hire. There are fireworks straight off but when they get stuck on a desert island together, will they end up killing each other or are they in danger and able to work together to overcome it?

The story was farfetched but I could live with that. What I couldn’t live with was Victoria! Oh my goodness! I HATED Victoria with a passion. She has not got one redeemable quality. She was abusive with the slapping and kicking and punching!!! Regardless of what he said, don’t put hands on a person!!! She acted crazy. Supposed to be strong but flips out and freaks out over the stupidest smallest things. She constantly over reacts. Wants to be taken seriously but flashes tits and arse to get ahead and fakes an accent! He is always a controlling arsehole when she doesn’t get her own way and it’s obvious he is right! She is a Moron!

Talking of morons! Why would he put up with her? I mean his views are outdated but tbh with his past, it’s a little understandable.

I understand they both had shitty pasts but that doesn’t make up for either of their behaviours! I couldn’t care less! Leave them on the island or better yet, drop them in the sea!

1* and that’s being generous!!

At this point I’m three books in and don’t think they can be read as a standalone.

Also they seem to clear one bit of the story but another is left unclear.. Perfect and Allen, Romantic and his sister and now Corporate and Liam.. me thinks it’s gonna get dragged out!!

Mr Mysterious

Cinderella (yes really.. inserts eye roll here!) stalks (yes really!) Paxton, aka Mr Mysterious. She also happens to be Mr Match, Oliver’s little sister. She has been obsessed with Pax for years and will stop at nothing to be with him. Never telling him who she is (so far fetched as he was bff with Oliver) more drama follows blah blah blah

Firstly she needs professional help! She stalks him, narrates fictional story lines and is just odd!

This gave me readers block and I’m really struggling to finish this series! If I didn’t have mild ocd, I would have stopped :(

All of the books coming together to try and reveal a plot which dates back to them all being falsely accused of rape but it’s all over the place and just boring me

DNF - :(

Mr. Perfect
Sigh... Mac and Ellies story isn't all rainbows and unicorns but you have to take the not so good with the good. I loved the camaraderie with the characters and loved how you get to start meeting all of the Misters in this story.
I LOVE how Ja Huss sucks you into the story and keeps you intrigued till the very end. Can't wait to see how this series unfolds. I appreciate that this is a stand a lone novel.

Mr. Romantic
OH MY!!! Nolan and Ivy's story was NOT what I was expecting and I LOVE that JA Huss has a way of twisting and turning the plots to keep on the edge of my seat. So many hot scenes in this book that may not be for everyone but readers should always remember that this is fiction even though serious topics are touched upon.
I love that we get to see all the misters again to get you ready for the next book in the series, I love that you can read each of them as a stand alone yet there is a bigger picture that draws you to want to read the other books in the series.

Mr. Corporate
Once again Ja Huss grabs your attention and yanks you back into the world of The Misters.
This Story covers so many genres and I love that about it. You get second chance romance with enemies to lovers with all the suspense and intrigue that you expect from this phenomenal author.
more of the bigger picture is unraveled, but not without even more questions about what is happening after 10 years from the "incident" I love the banter and camaraderie with all of the Misters and if feels like you are in the story while reading it.

Mr. Mysterious
Good Lord how I loved Mr. Mysterious!!
This has to be my favorite of the series thus far, Pax and Cinderella Shrike!!!!! Like OMG!!!! What's not to love about THAT connection!!
J.A Huss is the QUEEN of the crossover and I loved that 2nd generation characters are in this series, I love when authors continue their characters legacy throughout different stories, it's like you get to see their entire lives as if you are a part of their story.
I can not wait to read Match's story next!!! I an devouring this series and the suspense of it all is mind blowing!

Mr. Match
What a way to wrap up this suspense filled series with Oliver and Katya's story.. JUST WOW!!
I had NO idea what to think going into this final installment of The Misters, I thought i had it all figured out in my head then BAM.... JA Huss gows and does it again and throws in all the twists and turns that had me rethinking EVERYTHING I thought was going to happen to resolve the BIG PICTURE.. Once again a Phenomenal reading experience.

Five
Sweet baby Jesus did I love this story!! It answers some of the questions I had while I read The Misters series since took place before that series in the timeline.
I have loved Five and Rory since they were both born and it feels like I have watched them grow up while reading the stories JA Huss writes!!! Totally Loved it!!

Mr & Mrs.
What a perfect ending to the Misters series!
We get to see all of the Misters POV throughout the entire book and I loved how it all came together.
I have to say that Mathilda and Louise stole the entire story with their mischievous behavior and I loved that they had Nolan wrapped around their little fingers!!
I enjoyed the banter with all of the characters and the way everyone came together to make the weddings perfect for everyone!! A little bittersweet but knowing JA Huss...… It's not the last we have seen of these characters!

I READ 1-5. I HAD TO STEP AWAY. THERE ARE STILL 2 BOOKS LEFT, AND, I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL FINISH. I THOUGHT I WOULD BE INTRIGUED WITH THE MYSTERY THROUGH ALL 5 BOOKS. IT GOT OLD. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I DON'T REALLY LIKE A LOT OF MYSTERY.
I ENJOYED PERFECT. IT HAD A GOOD STORY. IT DIDN'T JUMP THE SHARK. WHICH I FEEL IS A THING WITH THIS AUTHOR. I LIKED THE H AND h. SHE WAS SWEET. THERE WAS A ROMANCE FEEL.
ROMANTIC, MEH. I DIDN'T REALLY LIKE THE h. SHE WAS SO NAIVE. AND, HE WOULD COME AT HER WITH STUFF. AND, SHE WAS RIGHT ON BOARD. I WASN'T REALLY TURNED OFF BY THE KINK. I JUST DIDN'T REALLY FEEL MUCH FOR EITHER CHARACTER.
CORPORATE. I DIDN'T REALLY CARE FOR HIM. I HATED HER. JUST THE CONSTANT COMING AT HIM. THE PHYSICAL ABUSE WITH HER. SHE WOULD HIT HIM, KICK HIM,JUST RIDICULOUS. AND, HE LIKED IT. IT WAS LIKE A BATTERED WOMAN ONLY WITH A MAN.
I LIKED MYSTERY. AND, I LIKED CINDY. THIS ONE HAD THE MOST ROMANCE FEEL TO ME. AND, I LIKED THEM BOTH.
I SURPRISINGLY ENJOYED MATCH. I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD. HE HAD TO BE ONE OF MY FAVES. I WAS A LITTLE AMBIVALENT ABOUT HER. I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT HER SISTER. I WAS MORE INTRIGUED BY MARIEL THAN ANY OF THE OTHER SIDE CHARACTERS.
BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE SOLUTION OF THE MYSTERY, I WAS OVER IT. AND THEN, I FEEL IT DIDN'T REALLY EXPLAIN ALL THE IN'S & OUT'S. I MEAN, WE JUST READ 5 BOOKS!! FULL OF ALL THIS MYSTERY, AND THE ANSWER COMES FROM ALL THESE DIFFERENT PEOPLE. AND, I DON['T FEEL LIKE IT WAS TIED UP WITH A NICE BOW LIKE I WOULD HOPE.

just WOW!

Julie, you are amazing, I have read all your books, and this Mr Series and the incredible finale, Mr & Mrs just blew me away. I laughed, I cried, I felt every moment of suspense, adventure, excitement, scariness, total joy and comedy! Just Wow! Only thing is, I’m so sad I finished Mr & Mrs. I adored every one of the Mr’s all so different & gorgeous & facing so much to get that happy ever after, but they somehow do it and I’m along for this brilliant ride through their lives. Their partners, their families, their children, everything, I just don’t want it to end. Then the icing on the cake, the Weddings, holy shit, just brilliant plus to get another glimpse of my other favourites, from the Rook & Ronin series.
Thank you Julie for gifting me this wonderful world from your unbelievably clever imagination, if I could be a part of it, no hesitation, I’d be there in a blink.
Do read this series and everything by Julie (JA Huss), it’s the bomb 😍🥰
Most highly recommended, want to give it a million stars ⭐️ PS I want to marry Five, ‘ya know! ❤️

The is 7 book series is 6 books too long

I feel Luke this is kind of like the Moby Dick of romance series, 1000± pages of seeking out the actual point to all the action, kind of like an elusive white (silver in this case), whale.I admit I was drawn in by Mr. Perfect's fairly normal office romance with the creative and erotic sex. I almost didn't finish Mr. Romantic is story as is his link is outside of my comfort zone. And bits kept me intrigued, especially the individual Mister's as characters. but I never really got the point, beyond some paranoid conspiratorial nonsense linked with actual criminality like the Chinese triads, Russian syndicate, and Italian mafia that to have the individuals involved with all be entirely beyond the odds. But even Ahab had some sightings to keep him motivated? I finished the books after all. And I never read the Room and Ronin series which may have provided some of elusive information I was hoping for. I did enjoy Mr. and Mrs. very much, probably much more of the genre/mood I anticipated for the series.

The Misters are an absolute must read series! I read each of these books as they released, and JA Huss pulled me in from the very first book! These guys go through "an event" when they are in college and now ten years later, they each have a very interesting story to tell.

There is mystery, tons of mystery, and intrigue, and sexy times and even a good amount of funny times, especially when you reach the end and are reading Mr. and Mrs. I guarantee, after you've read all the Misters, you will pick a favorite one. I have my favorite!!

Long time readers of JA Huss will recognize some cameo appearances that they will love, and if you're a new reader, this is the perfect place to start! After you've finished, I would not be surprised at all if it makes you want to start from the very beginning and get to know the Rook and Ronin crew. They are SO worth the read!

Seriously, 99 cents for all seven Mister books? What an incredible deal!!

Ah, you gotta love this series. Laugh, cry, get frustrated, laugh some more. The wrap up of the whole series - Rook and Ronin/The Company/The Misters. Their whole world grabs you and you find yourself lost for days in all the drama, sadness, anger and laughter of life in whatever place they are. Your emotions are tied up in their successes and failures. JA Huss is a fabulous writer and succeeds at being her characters to life. Mr Perfect, Mr Romantic, Mr Corporate Mr Mysterious Mr Match and Mr Five are just trying to move on from their pasts, and while they didn’t start off as friends they end up even better. As family. Mr and Mrs is the perfect ending to their stories. Full of love and laughter, you get to close the book with a smile and a sigh and feel it was all worth it to get to this point. #fanforlife

Wow! This series is intense and they all knit together with a twisted and complicated twist. All the Misters are different and although there are lots of sexy times with each of the men JA Huss has made them all very different so these scenes are not repetitive. When I read the first book, Mr Perfect, I thought they were going to be pretty standard romances, I couldn't have been more wrong. With each book the underlying plot became more complicated and I found myself 100% invested.
If you are considering reading this series I would recommend reading the Rook and Ronin series first, it's not a necessity however I felt it offered some background (plus it's another really good series).
Although this is a relatively new author to me, I have enjoyed everything I've read so far. Great characters and worldbuilding, with interesting and exciting plots.

J.A Huss delivers pure writing magic! The Mister series is mystery, suspense, fun, sexy and intriguing! And let's not forget the butter!! Oh how that just works!

With each book each Mr. finds his perfect Mrs., and the stories of each Mister and the corruption that changed their lives is revealed. And each surprise has wanting to read more. This series grabs you and has you turning the pages until the very end!

This is the first time I've read this author. I can say I'm officially hooked. Now that I've read Five and Rory's story, I will be going back to read how this world started. And I won't stop until I end with Mr.& Mrs. once again. This series had me gasping, laughing, smiling and brought tears to my eyes. And the sexiness is just hot! I even loved each of the EBOS! Can't wait to read the whole saga!

Excellent!

Good and bad about reading straight through this series ! I got continuity but sometimes hurried my reading to get to the finish, since reason for the problems of the Misters is a continuous thread through book 5, before all is revealed . 1600 hundred pages is a lot to cover to find out " who dunnit"! Did enjoy the series tremendously, loved all the main characters, hated the " bad guys", got some severe shock s about characters, laughed a lot, and loved the final book of the weddings! The evening gathering on the pool deck the night before the weddings is the most hilarious scene ever depicted! Loved all the kids!! Time well spent to read this outstanding series!

This was definitely an interesting read. I thoroughly enjoyed Mr Perfect. I really struggled to get through Mr. Romantic but by the end of the series I couldn’t help but be happy for him, he really was the most messed up by what happened to them in my opinion. I liked Mr. Corporate but I really didn’t like Tori at all although I may have warmed up to her later on. Mr. Match, honestly still not sure about his story, found it a little much with the love story and the overall plot getting twisted a bit. Mr. Mysterious and Cinderella- these two i absolutely loved, this was the most fun couple of the series for sure. Finally Five… my favourite book of all, the love he had with Rory.. so sweet. The Mr and Mrs finale story was fun, it was where I truly changed my mind about Nolan and the scene with Fives younger daughters and the pigs made my day. I think if the Silver society had been in the stories a little sooner so that it wasn’t all packed into ending might have let me give this a five star, but I did still enjoy most of it for sure.

Must read, mystery, suspense, love

This series has it all, mystery, suspense, love, crazy fun and butter...lol I just couldn't put this book down. I fell in love with every single Mr and how messed they all were and how Perfect they were just like that. If you never have read a book from JA Huss, then I recommend this series, you won't regret it. Make sure to read the EOB sh$t... it gives you insight to the authors mind and really good stuff about the books, the characters and everything that went into bringing these people to life... I totally agree with the author, these are people and not just characters.

Amazing from start to finish.

I chose to read Mr. Five first after reading the descriptions and I'm so glad I did! Once I finished five, I went back and read the entire Rook & Ronin series before coming back to read The Misters. JA Huss writes the stories in a way that you don't have to read them in order from start to finish, but it makes it so much better! I love every single one of these characters and I'm sad to see them go, but am so incredibly thankful for the amazing journey!

mystery romance humour suspense

I am a reader not a writer, so this is my 1st book review. This five star series has it all: mystery, romance, humour, & suspense. I read all 7 books in four days. JA Huss has a fantastic imagination. The inter woven characters in these storeys of six couples are brilliant and run smoothly together like melted butter. This was the first series by JA Huss that I read, & I definitely will be finding and reading all other books by this amazing author.

What you would expect..a great series

I originally read these books separately and had to by this set. These books are what I have come to expect from the author. Extremely well written, tight plot, H/h that you could see as friends, and some you would hate as enemies, yet, totally believable. Reading a book by Ms Huss is like eating a hot fudge sundae, you savour every bite, and are terribly disappointed when it is finished. In this case you can have a sundae buffet. Enjoy!

So Good!!

I really enjoyed this box set. Lots of intrigue and suspense and LOTS of laughs at the antics and mischief. These stories are about Mac, Nolan, West, Pax, Oliver, and Five, and how they figure out how to overcome their reputations and the badass women they realize they can't live without. They will do everything in their power to protect them meanwhile the ladies have a thing or two up their sleeves to fix the situation.

Absolutely fabulous

Another cracking series by J A Huss . This is a spin off series of the Rook and Ronin series, which is amazing I loved all of the chaos that these guys lived and how they meet their love interests I have to say my favourite books are Mr perfect and the Mr and Mrs because I totally laughed so loud at the hilarious parts. This series has it all. Fun, thrills and plenty of drama you will not be disappointed .

Perfection!

JA Huss does it for me each and every time. Each book. Each series. The family love is epic. The secret society, dark web drama is next level and so very cloak and dagger. The steam is OFF THE CHARTS. You get just enough HEA in each book. And just enough questions to want to know what happens next. You will not regret getting sucked into the Rook and Ronin universe. So epically good!!

Misters

This book popped up on a Facebook ad and I thought yeah I’ll read the first and then see if the book I’m waiting for is released. Well, I couldn’t stop at the first Mr nor the second. The way each story intertwines with the past and how everyone is connected and more is revealed in each book, I couldn’t put this series down. Very well written, excellent characters and keeps you thinking who’s behind it all.
