For some reason, Sun-oh makes a sudden turn into a guy with anger issues? Bad enough when he was being rough with Gul-mi, but then the way he treated JoJo sucked. Like, approaching Doumyoji from Boys Over Flowers sucked 🙁
Also, I get that these stories have to have the “treat you bad to protect myself” plot line where the MC treats someone bad because they’re essentially being blackmailed, but it doesn’t make this any easier to read about.
Jojo’s backstory is the saddest I’ve read in a while. How awful.
It was a really good volume, the suspence has makes me really crazy and the characters can Transmit to the reader the Sensation that he feels. I really recommend this book!
The story of Jeju Island and the manufactured drama of Jojo's nonsensical decision, along with the absolutely terrible art, finally killed this for me.
