Sunday Kennedy has never had an easy life, but nothing has troubled her like the love she has for two men. Malik "King" Shields is the first man she's ever loved, but she walked away from him when he was arrested...and her broken heart was saved by rising street hustler Caesar Jones.

Caesar knows Sunday will never love him the way she loved Malik, but she is a trophy in his eyes. Now the father of her child, he's determined to keep her by his side. But when he's forced to fend off attacks by Sunday's ex, he plots to use her as a pawn in his revenge.

Malik is trapped in a whirlwind of murder and betrayal after being hit with a death sentence for a crime he didn't commit. As he fights to clear his name, he also begins to make amends for his past...and reunite with Sunday. But getting her back seems impossible when he discovers she believes his enemies' lies.

Though Sunday's heart tells her to trust Malik, she doesn't want to destroy the family she's created with Caesar. Caught in the middle of a war that can only end in tragedy, who will Sunday choose?

The Coldest Love She’s Ever Known is gritty, new urban fiction from Leo Sullivan.

Sunday Kennedy lives in the urban jungle of Atlanta, GA. Living in a jungle she is confronted with the bane of all jungle dwellers, deadly predators. It just happens that she loves two of these predators, but they hate each other.

Malik “King” Shields is Sunday’s first love, but she gives up on a relationship with him when he’s convicted of murder and sentenced to the death penalty. King is a notorious former gang leader and drug lord.

Caesar Jones is Sunday’s new love and a drug-dealing street hustler on the rise. He’s also the father of her unborn child.

One loves her unconditionally. The other loves the prestige she brings. Will Sunday choose true love or the idea of a family?

Dangerous plots abound from enemies known and unknown. Will any of them survive the destruction of jealousy, betrayal and revenge?

The Coldest Love She’s Ever Known is a perfect example of urban fiction at it’s finest. The story is revealed through the alternating viewpoints of main characters, Sunday and King. Appropriate chapter headers and clear dialogue make this sometimes tricky technique flow smoothly. The characters are all well-rounded and compelling, even the ones you hate. The plot twists and ending are jaw-dropping. There is graphic violence and explicit content, but this novel is unputdownable. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to all readers of multicultural and/or urban fiction or good fiction in general.

My thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

The Coldest Love She's Ever Known by Leo Sullivan was a pretty decent read. The story hits pretty hard from the start and only turns up the heat from there. I like that it gives you true Urban life situtuons, but did not elude you into believing complete fairytale fiction. From the began I did not care for Ceasar and Makita.

I was overcomed with the heart pumping twist and blood pressure raising turns. The suspense was there for me and I was really surprised to learn the true foes while silently regretting the loss of true friends. Hate all the loss Sunday faced.

There was so many innocent losses and was happy to see some happiness in the end. I will say it was well desired. This was my first Leo Sullivan read but it won't be my last.

This was a good fast-paced suspense filled romance read. There is no finessing you into the story or the characters because it jumps straight into it. With that being said, there's never a dull moment in this story and I finished it in no time at all. I absolutely loved that this is a standalone read and there's no waiting for the next book to get the full story. Now when it comes to the characters, I liked Sunday, hated Caesar, loved King and didn't care one way or another about Makita. Caesar killed me with his actions after everything went down. I peeped Makita's game before it was revealed so there was no surprise there and Caesar was the man. I loved how he looked out Sunday. I just wish I felt a deeper connection between the two of them. Betrayals are coming from every corner and it can only end one way. The ending was sweet but there was just something missing from this story for me that would have made this a 5 star read.

This story had me sucked in from the beginning. I was anxiously awaiting to see how everything would play out. Sunday went through a great deal.

Malik was in jail facing the death penalty for a crime he did not commit. When he heard of Sunday being brutally attacked, he was devastated. He knew what he had to do. Malik immediately made it his mission to find out who was behind it.

This story had a lot of drama dealing with jealousy and betrayal. I must say the ending was a little unexpected.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was one of the best street lit fictions I've read in a long time. Sunday is caught in a love triangle that is full of drama, lies, and revenge. Sunday's heart belongs to her ex Malik and her new man and babys father just cant get around the fact that he will never have her heart like Malik. When Malik receives a death sentence he is hell bent on revenge. He goes out of his way to get even and prove to Sunday that hes an innocent man.

I'm honestly surprised about this book. It's an action, romance and suspense book. I loved it.
I hate Caesar, I never liked him. But on the other hand I loved Malik "King" he is so kind to Sunday, and it's like he only cares about the people that are loyal to him and the ones he loves. This is my second book I have read from a male author, and both of the books I read. I have had a good experience with. I recommend this book.

I'm currently reading this and I can't say I'm enjoying it. There are a ton of grammatical and spelling errors which just made me wanna stop reading and return it to my library early. Also the use of all the big words in a hood book didn't really make sense in my opinion.

Althouh EXTREMELY unrealistic, it was just a great romantic story. Really enjoyed the ready and the hardships and obstacles they came across. Action pact from the beginning to the end. A Hood love story.

I came to staying this book will be the same as many urban books. But I was so so very WRONG!! It was an audible book. The narrator: Rakeem Minajj, Bessie Lee were great readers. Can’t wait to read or listen to others by the author!!

As an acid reader, this book did not capture my interest and it was hard to get into. While I applaud the writer’s efforts at penning urban fiction, it did not hold my interest.
