In normal times, maybe it wouldn't have interested me as much. But while we're in quarantine and dealing with this sudden change in the world that one virus brought, it got really interesting. Especially because I could kinda relate the people's perspectives and views of the situation of that in the book. Though what happened in the book, was way worse than what we're dealing with, I'd say.
So, people get stuck in a village and lose their connection with the rest of the world. How they perceive it and how it changes their life style and behavior as the time goes by, we gradually see in the book.
It's a really interesting read! However, there are things that are unsettled and things that don't come to any conclusions and things that are left out.
I'm especially not sure about the ending but I guess that's not the point of the book, although I did strive to see how it would end.
Overall though, the book left me thinking and wondering about so many things that's going on about me and the life itself and isn't that one point of a good book?!
